Aracely Rios is MY HERO! I arrived in Austin at 1:00 AM from Salt Lake. Tired and hungry, I made my way to my parking spot. I had (2) things of luggage and a back pack. In the moment, while it was still a pleasant and friendly shuttle ride, I didn't think anymore about it. But then...I arrived home (30 minutes after leaving ABIA), to realize that my laptop, iPad, Garmin watch and a bunch of other widgets were not with me. I was so spent from the day, that I had forgotten my backpack on the shuttle. I called the 24/7 help line, and I remembered Aracely clearly stating her name and bus number for this exact purpose. I'm so thankful she did. I told the other end of the phone about my mistake and they quickly reassured me that Aracely had already turned in my lost belongings. I retrieved my stuff that "night." The cell phone lot is useful but is crowded with customers going to Whataburger and the convenience store. The short and long term lots are pricey but conveniently located. read more

I just got back home from a family trip. We left our car at ABIA for the first time while we were gone. Everything was fine in the beginning, when we got home however my experience was pretty disrespectful and disappointing. Lee pulled up on an aviation bus 36, 25A748 and loaded it up 90% of the way. He welcomed 3 out of my 5 on the bus. Then proceeded to let 2 people from the end of the line jump ahead of us. Separating me from my family. Usually this wouldn't be an issue, but Lee insisted on leaving me behind with my 10 month old baby. Leaving me with no diaper bag, cell phone, pump, or luggage... it was all on the bus with him. I'm extremely unhappy with this experience, and don't think any mom should be left alone with one hand to fold up a stroller car seat, and base. There was absolutely no need for it. Before my husband got on the bus with my family, he asked Lee if there was enough room for us. Lee said yes, then separate us. I would have kept my essentials on me, if I knew I was going to be separated. read more

Long term parking was full not the issue. The blue garage levels 1,2,3,4 sensors had 5-10 spots open. This was not true all were full. Don't use a system if its going to delay people. Turn if off if the system doesn't work. read more

Grateful for the perk provided to our country's Disabled Veterans by ABIA. We parked there early Monday morning and returned on a Saturday afternoon. Upon our arrival our vehicle was as safe and secure where we had parked it in regular parking spot in one f the garages. As we tried to start the vehicle we found the battery was dead, dead, dead! Called ABIA parking and much to our surprise they provide a service for that; who knew? Person arrived in less than ten minutes. Guess what? Zero charge, nada, zilch. He wouldn't even take a tip politely told us this was his job; to provide assistance to ABIA customers. Upon our exit we experienced no problems at the exit booth. Paid our balance after the veteran discount; it was fair price especially with the bonus battery jumpstart provided as part of their customer service. My jeep was parked in the lot on for the day on and when I left I was not issued a receipt. Instead the ticket was blank with nothing on it. I parked my jeep and went back to the kiosk and asked for a receipt to be printed. Instead of getting my receipt I was told i never paid over and over and hung up on repeatedly. I noted that my car was already on the other side of the arm and that my bank app noted payment and was hung up on. This is unacceptable when I was asking for something as simple as getting a receipt. I stood there for 20 mins in traffic close to midnight before giving up for my own safety. read more

Had a bad experience With shuttle driver. Our flight arrived late night at south terminal Austin and we took a shuttle to Main terminal and we asked the shuttle (number 88) driver if the same shuttle would also go to economy lot where our car is parked. The driver was rude and shouted at us that he cannot repeat instructions that he announced at the beginning of the trip. This is bad customer experience and I would never take any Abia services going forward read more

I have used the new Parking Reservation system at ABIA twice. The first time it worked great. The second time the QR code did not work. I tried multiple times and pushed for support before pulling a ticket. The operator said to pull a ticket and request a refund. Returning from my trip I requested a refund. ABIA doesn't own the reservation system it is out sourced to a 3rd party. MAG Airport Reservations. I have to pay a $7.50 cancellation fee since I did not use the system. I am having to pay for the failure of their QR reader. Buyer beware I suggest NOT using the reservation system at ABIA. (MAG USA Parking Services @ AUS). Until the system works OR you can get your full refund. read more

We have been lucky enough to get Orlando, the parking bus driver, 4 times now. He is always optimistic and ready to go above and beyond what you would expect. I think the parking fees are a bit much but Orlando makes up for it. Please give Orlando a raise! read more

Arrived home on Sunday evening at 7:15 and walked out to catch a shuttle to long-term parking. Two vans had just loaded and taken off. We, along with at least 100+ people, waited another 45 minutes in line with absolutely no shuttles in sight. Called the number on the back of the van and they guy could have given damn. We finally had to walk to our car and never saw a shuttle again. We saw several of the other long-term parking shuttles come and go many times. Check them out before you park at ABIA. Our airport is ever expanding, but the services seem to lag far behind. read more

ABIA staff is amazing! I got in after 11 PM on Sunday night and forgot where I parked my car. I had no reason to panic or be afraid as the staff were absolutely wonderful. They came out to help me locate my car based on the time that I parked my vehicle. I will always use and recommend ABIA because of the kindness and the wonderful customer service that was extended to me from the woman that I spoke to on the phone to the two shuttle drivers who assisted me. Waited in the heat for 20 minutes with a bunch of other dissatisfied people trying to get to our cars. Every single other shuttle came and went at least twice. I finally walked to my car. They are severely understaffed. Terrible use of $50. read more

So many things here. First is my own personal taste: they build two parking structures right next to each other. But they do not match. Trying pick between Rental Car, garage parking and long term is a mess and very confusing Walk for Uber is far Garage is always dirty with over flowing trash containers. Elevator indicates w an arrow that floor ONE is where to get off but the correct floor, for those heading to terminal the correct floor is TWO. Just used Abia parking at the Austin airport and it was a wonderful experience. I'd never left a car at the Airport before and was nervous to figure it all out. It ended up being super easy, and much cheaper than us Ubering there and back. The staff driving the shuttles were super pleasant and helpful, I will most def be using this again next trip. read more

I have to say - ABIA Parking regularly exceeds my expectations. They are cost competitive, efficient, and friendly. Apparently they'll even jump your car and give you gas if you need it! They always provide a card to help you remember where you parked. And their drivers are always patient and helpful. On my last trip, Angela was my driver. Angela was super helpful and told great "dad jokes" throughout the trip. This is a great service. read more

Dismal experience. Ended up walking to the airport for departure and also when returning to our car. The line in the parking lot to get to the airport was orderly, however, after waiting for the next bus that didn't put a dent in the line we decide to hoof it as there was no way waiting another fifteen would solve the lack of shuttles. Upon return, there was close to zero markings/guidance on where to wait which causes confusion amongst the newbies. A handful of us had already started a line but each bunch that showed up just piled around the column forming their own blob of humans and luggage. Bus driver didn't even acknowledge the people that formed a line and helped the masses instead, almost causing a fight between the orderly and un-orderly. Rather than waiting another twenty plus or so minutes and causing more frustration we decided to walk, once again. I use to enjoy this service from ABIA but it seems they have bigger fish to fry. They have done nothing to improve the experience all while the other parking garages and their artwork decorated courtyards get prettier and prettier. Just give the long term lot a decent sidewalk directly to the airport and I will go with the mindset that I will get some exercise before sitting for hours in the plane. read more

Stranded at the South Terminal. Hope you don't need to get from the South Terminal to the main terminal. ABIA will lie to you and leave you for 40 minutes (so far) and counting. When I called ABIA for help their answers changed in ways that show their first answers (there are multiple busses running) were not true. Doubly frustrating is there are empty busses sitting here that people have driven right past us (empty) taken somewhere and brought back but not offered to help us. read more

Austin airport has two terminals which are about a 15minute drive away. The south terminal is very small and was unaware that we were catching a flight from this terminal. First of all even though I came 2hrs ahead a time (thank goodness!) by the time the shuttle arrived to pick me up from the north terminal (even after calling them...which I highly recommend) it still took 20 minutes for a shuttle! This truly is unacceptable! In addition, on my flight back I was in a shuttle which was almost filled (4 seats out of the 20 still remaining) and they would not drive off until it was fully filled! Despite having three other shuttles behind waiting to pick up other customers who were waiting for their checked on bags! It took again twenty minutes of waiting in a shuttle to take off. We voiced our frustration and said it is their managers policy. Called ABIA to pass along my frustrations, but their was no manager available. If you are an airport and have two terminals that are so far away you should be better prepared to conveniently transport people back and forth. read more

I had a panic attack and your attendant wouldn't help me. I had been in the garage less than 5 minutes when I confirmed I didn't have my wallet. I knew if I left I could run and get it and barely make my flight. Of course the parking exit was credit card only. I pushed the button for help and the person just kept telling me he was getting approval. $5! For less than 5 minutes and I didn't have a card. I started to have a panick attack and I called the number on the side. That person helped me understand I could use Apple Pay. But the other people were rude and not helpful. This parking is awful. I barely made it back. That $5 almost cost me $1000 because of the lack of customer service read more

QB is a GEM!! Each time my that I or my family parks in the ABIA Valet we are greeted by the ever so professional and kind QB and his colleagues. And when we need the car we text the number on our ticket and it is there promptly. Last month we witnessed a man harassing QB and QB never reacted negatively or improperly. He was just amazing. It was troubling to see someone treating him this way and we were prepared to be his ally and help him. Ron with customer service saved me a LOT of time and frustration after arriving in Austin! Exhausted and sweaty, with both hands full of luggage, I searched for my car in the parking garage for 20 minutes with no success. Ron spotted me and asked how he could help. He figured out I was in the right row, but the wrong garage! Not only did he get me and my 5 year old son to our car, but he waited to make sure it started and we were ready to get home. Your new pick up rules for passengers who use Wingz, etc. stinks! After two international flights, one is tired and it's very difficult to walk the GREAT distance to your pick up area. What's wrong with the previous set up? You had a place to sit until your ride arrives, the driver grabs your bags, you get in the vehicle and you're on your way. Two minutes... Austin, I thought you were better than this. Not looking forward to anymore trips through ABIA. Shame on you! How can you people sleep at night? Marshall L, in the more than 45 minutes I was trying to find my ride I did not see a tram. It's very unclear where to go and how to get there. Whoever is in charge of your operations should take a hint from airports in other countries. Even third world countries do a better job. I stand by my first statement. Valet parking is atrocious. Within the last year they have: 1) smashed my windshield 2) repeatedly lost my ticket causing me undue wait times to retrieve my car 3) turned me away Monday AM due to too long a line 4) inconsistently marked fake damage on the take-in sheet 5) occasionally ignored me while waiting to pick up my car I use them weekly... Or used to. Fed up enough. I travel every week to airports all over the US and this is one of the worst experiences, consistently. read more

This company is a joke. I waited on the curb for 30 Minutes and not a single bus. I called and was told it was their shift change. They need to better plan their schedules if they can't seem to have buses running during shift change. My first time using this I didn't know there was a specific line you needed to be in either. I asked and was told to wait down in curb by yellow marks. When I flagged the guy he motioned down and there was a line about 60 people deep who too had been waiting because of the shit change. I didn't make on the 1st or 2nd bus. Altogether I had to wait 45 minutes for a bus. Absurd! read more

I walked outside the Austin Airport to the Abia bus, and as I tried to get on, the bus driver told me I needed to go to a different bus. He told me a long list of directions to get to the other buses. I followed his directions and was not able to find the buses. After looking for the buses for about 5 minutes, I finally decided to walk to the economy lot to find a bus to get on. I finally found a bus that was parked in the lot. I asked the bus driver for help, and she told me I needed to walk to a pay phone to call customer service. I asked if she could call or drive me to my car, and without answering my question, she just shut the bus door and drove off. I have NEVER had that rude of service in my life. I have called 3 different people about this issue now, and all they did was give me an email to write. I will never use this service again. read more

Incompetent dispatch - waited 30 min for a shuttle after 2 calls and they never came.

Complete waste of time. None of their shuttles are labeled which lot they go to. Ended up waiting for an hour dropping other people off at a different lot only to be told that this shuttle didn't go to the south lot. So they dropped us back at the terminal and made us wait for another bus that took forever to arrive. Horrible communication and service. read more

After being kicked out of my parking spot that I used every week in Garage # 2 where I could take an elevator up one floor & walk across bridge, now I have to park in blue garage w/ no decent access to terminal, up & down stairs. Only an idiot that doesn't have to use parking would think it's an "upgrade" to old situation. read more

The new "Blue Garage" is not, as of late March 2019, ready for parking. Yet- it is open and seems reasonable at a discounted rate. Unfortunately, that discounted rate comes with tons of construction dust, no elevator, and exit signs that at times point to nothing. Very frustrating to come home late at night with luggage and have to drag heavy bags up a flight of steps. Both of us have asthma but eventually made it to our dust encrusted car. Probably the worst parking I've ever used at ABIA- stick with long-term parking until they get this garage up and running. read more
