This review is limited specifically to our experience with Beth, PT. Unfortunately, she was the worst therapist we have ever trusted with our child. Instead of physically engaging with him and focusing on the purpose of the session, she spent much of the appointment providing unsolicited, pessimistic medical opinions that she is unqualified to provide (and more importantly without compassion). These comments were made in front of our child, who can understand more than people may realize. We found this deeply inappropriate, discouraging, and outside the proper scope of a physical therapy session. Very little meaningful physical therapy took place because so much of the session was devoted to negative and medically unsupported commentary. We were shocked by the lack of hands-on engagement, professionalism, and sensitivity shown toward a young child and his family. In contrast, we are very happy with Caitlin, PT. She physically engages our child throughout the session, treats him with kindness and compassion, and helps him work toward improvement with positive energy and encouragement. We appreciate her professionalism and therapeutic approach. We were hesitant to leave this review, but we believe it is important to share our experience so that management addresses the issue and other families do not go through something similar.

For the past 10 months we've worked with Andrea and Kelsey. My daughter says words with sounds she wasn't able to do before. She also has so much fun. The sessions are engaging and the toys are always different so it motivates her to target goals. From what I've seen, all the therapist are super positive and ready to jump in and WORK HARD. The SLP's use every moment as an opportunity to help target my daughter's speech goals. At first I didn't think 30 minutes would be enough time. Nope, I was wrong. Without Andrea and Kelsey's expertise, my daughter wouldn't be saying the words she says now. I've been with other clinics with my other children too. Speech Point really is a top notch clinic. I have to add: The owner is really nice and easy to talk to. She's busy doing assessments all the time but she'll make time to chat when requested. Just ask. Courtney and Temika are on top of the scheduling and behind the scenes tasks. They always respond via text, email or by phone. There's some scheduling issues at the moment due to short staffing but management has been giving updates and the owner is stepping in to help. I'm writing a review specifically on Marisol one of the occupational therapists. My son started in…read moremid-2020 and is still currently a patient there. Since the beginning, he has been with Marisol for feeding therapy. My son has difficulty with new people, trusting people, opening up, and not being shy and shutting down. However, with Marisol, it was a seamless instant connection. She has shown consistency, adaptability, and compassion for my son every week for 4 years. She learned his likes and dislikes and created a new game or plan for each session. He only thrives with her and honestly doesn't even do the things he will with her for me at home. That speaks volumes. I trust her and am thankful we were paired with her from the get-go. You can tell she is a kind, caring, responsible, loving person who deeply cares for the kids which is who you want to help our kids to grow and prosper. My son is a completely different kid because of her and I'm eternally grateful and can't say enough good things about her. She will be sorely missed and hold a special place in our hearts when my son graduates. The center itself has also always been clean, and professional, has a good staff, and runs efficiently.
