This was my 2nd visit. The staff is VERY NICE. However, the food was bland bland bland. I got an almond chicken wrap, and there could have been more chicken and definitely more sauce included. The coleslaw had no dressing, really. Even the mango juice I ordered was bland. My partner had a house salad that seemed fresh, but the Italian dressing was cheap tasting and sugary. The broccoli and cheddar soup came out lukewarm (which they gladly corrected), but it was underwhelming overall. We'll probably go back, because we like the location that allows a nice walk afterward. However, we'll be choosing different menu items next time. Also, on a night in the low 60s, it was literally colder inside than outside in that restaurant. It had to be 60 degrees in that place, which was pretty miserable. Also, I noticed another reviewer commenting on the condition. The walls are really beaten up, and I think some of the chairs are pretty worn out. read more

We decided to try the sweet potato halos which were ok. They seemed a bit over cooked and didn't have much icing on them but they were ok. The shrimp and great had a great flavor the grits were creamy and smoothed. The shrimp were seasoned great and the grilled biscuits were a good addition. The chicken biscuit with the hash-browns were delicious. The biscuit really tasted good and that honey butter was so good I wanted to get more to dip the sandwich in. Not the worst or the best. It's a little dirty on the inside and the food is nothing special. I always wonder how places that are covered in dust/grime pass inspections, but this place is always packed so I guess people don't mind. The manager needs to create a punchlist of things that need to be cleaned and repaired. I can't believe no one else notices this. read more
