Day 6 I check in after not hearing from them, get end of day call back that car had much more damage than anticipated and more parts had to be ordered. Again no communication about this until I called them. After a few weeks and more lack of communication I went by the shop only to have been gaslit by Tamara the woman handling my vehicle she then threatened to call the police on me for pushing back on her absurd timelines and delays. At that stage the owner Bobby stepped in to help facilitate a smoother process. Parts were ordered and job continued and took roughly 3 weeks. I had to press them every step of way to pick up after 3 weeks. Upon driving I noticed car had a pull to the right so I checked in to ensure an alignment was done. Sure enough no alignment, so they schedule and alignment along with some other clear protectant stickers that were left off the work that was completed. During the alignment they noticed several other parts that needed to be replaced suspension related. Keep in mind I was driving over the pass twice daily in a car not fit for driving. Upon replacing those parts I had come to town from Victor to pick up my car (Friday at 5pm) but lo and behold a few other parts were discovered to be faulty and needed replacement. Forcing me to get a last minute rental car memorial weekend. In total 30 days to complete the work. All this time paying for rental cars as max is $40 a day reimbursed but that's impossible to find in Jackson so I was covering anywhere from $30-60 a day. Overall I'm out over $500 on rental cars and they had me driving around in a dangerous car for a week with no remorse, no consideration for the delays and continued run around. AVOID AT ALL COSTS WHICH I KNOW IS HARD SINCE NOT MANY OPTIONS

Upon inspection, Brian, the service manager, told me that I needed a whole new engine and that it would be $5800 to replace. He also told me not to worry because he had several guys in the shop interested in "taking my Jeep off my hands so I wouldn't have to deal with it" and that they had some great deals on new Jeeps in stock and he'd get me with his best salesman to get me all set in a brand new Jeep. My son (who lives out of state), being a master technician for BMW and now a tech for Tesla gave them a call for me to find out exactly why they felt I needed a whole new engine. At first, the Castlerock mechanic pretty much blew my son's inquiry off but as as soon as the Castlerock mechanic found out my son was mechanic himself for BMW and Tesla, according to my son, the Castlerock mechanic couldn't get off the phone fast enough and gave him no explanation for why I needed a whole new engine. Subsequently, after paying an almost $300 diagnostic fee (which I didn't even need), I had my Jeep towed to another location GearHead Auto in Victor, Idaho, for a second opinion. I am happy to say that GearHead is an HONEST outfit that doesn't lie to their customers and try to scam them out of thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs as I picked my Jeep up yesterday and after repairs AND an oil change, my total bill was $437.00 dollars!!!! All I needed was a new radiator, as I originally thought and my Jeep is running like a champ again! CASTLEROCK IS A CROOKED OUTFIT AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! They saw a single female walk through the door and thought they could pull one over and take advantage of me but they were WRONG!! I will be filing a formal complaint on this dealership as there are laws against what they are doing not to mention, how many people before have been scammed by them and paid for repairs they didn't need??? Honest, fair and competent repair service! I went into Big O with a rental car with a slow leaking…read moretire. After evaluation I was told that the tire needed replace because of a puncture in the sidewalk. And, since they didn't have the tire in the right size it would have to be ordered and would take two days. Alternatively they could replace all 4 tires with a different brand right now for "a little over $1,300. The rental company was contacted and they said "no way we're replacing the tires, they only have 16k on them and you're responsible for repairing the leaking tire". Big O said they would not attempt to repair a sidewall leak, and the would not replace only one tire; they needed to replace all 4 tires due to the wear differential between a new tire and the "old worn tires". Additionally they did not want to be responsible for the serious steering and handling issues that would occur, as well as problems with the digital dashboard that would light up with suspension problems that would register with the car's computer!! I declined their proposed solution and asked to have the tire remounted. I drove next door to Shirvens Tire Repair, they determined that it was a previous plug in the tread that was leaking and repaired the tire with a new plug and patch in 20 minutes for $34. There was no hole in the sidewall!!! We drove through Yellowstone, over Beartooth Pass, and back to Jackson via Livingston, and returned the car to Salt Lake City with no problems. After parking in a different spot and seeing transmission fluid again, I knew it was coming from my car. I am 2000 miles away from home on a cross country drive and my car is leaking transmission fluid. The only place in the book, so I called the last minute around 5:30PM on Thursday. I called and got the sales department, the Sales Person let me know the hours and said I could call in the morning and make a appointment. I called in the morning and talked to the Service Manager, he said just bring the car in and they would work it in and look at it. Left car at 8:30AM, they were very nice and gave me a courtesy ride back to hotel. They called me a little after 1PM to tell me my car was done. I went back to get car and they told me there was a leak on transmission at the drain valve and they just had to replace the drain plug and added a qt of fluid did a 16 point inspection. Two tires were low due to cold weather the inflated all tires to correct pressure. When I asked for the bill he told me there was no charge. Five Star Chrysler Service at it's best. *****5 I forgot the Starbucks Coffee Machine 3 blends of beans, it grinds the beans, brews your coffee right in cup.
