Revisiting the fact that these people misdiagnosed my air conditioning in my SUV and replaced the condenser. It still leaked and all the expensive coolant (almost $500 worth) and the air conditioning didn't work after a short time period. After telling them this, they told me I must have done something. After reporting it to the owner, the owner told them to fix my air conditioning. The service department told me in a text, whining like a child, that they did me wrong and want to make this right. My original bill was near $1700.00. I spoke with them and they told me it would basically cost me nothing to fix the issue. They spent three days until they finally got to my vehicle. I walked in and my suv was finally in the service bay. The service manager called back on the phone to the mechanic while on speaker phone. He asked the mechanic how the suv was doing and the mechanic replied, "What, this piece of shit!" The service manager promptly took the call of speaker and smiled at me. This guy said to me a week earlier that I should have gone with a Ford because Chevy's suck. This is a Chevy dealer saying this to me. I just then thought the man was an idiot. Anyway, my vehicle was a Chevy Yukon and only three years old at that time. What a pleasure having someone work on my vehicle after saying Chevy's suck and the mechanic calling my suv a piece of shit. I feel so confident having people like this work on my car.....NOT!!!! Anyway, the guy calls me up while I am working and tells me my SUV is ready. I said "Great' how much?" He said $1000 plus dollars. Can't remember exactly the number but it was over $1000. I thought they were going to basically do this for free. I just wanted my vehicle and wanted to get away from these thieves as fast as I could. I paid for it via credit card over the phone and picked up the vehicle after hours. Upon pickup, the bill was on the seat of the SUV. I looked at it and the guy charged me a second time for the coolant (almost $500.00 of the bill) after I paid for the coolant the first time when they misdiagnosed that the coolant lines where leaking. DAH!!!!!!!! I shall never return to this p[lace again. Not forgetting to mention, I don't think the two service managers like each other, because the bald one had the other one find a vehicle in the lot and was swearing the worst after asked to do so. Not a place of trust or pleasure. I don't believe there is any honesty here. I was screwed on this one. Beware of these people. Very sad experience I had to endure. Lied to and cheated. Beware Teton Chevy, needed a repair and they had the part, simple part replacement needed. was told it would be 3-4 weeks for the repair even though one of the techs said it takes about 1/2 hour or less. then they said come in 3 days and be there at 7:30 am no later. I did just that. I dropped my truck off at 7:30 AM and I was waiting in the customer waiting area at 7:40 AM at 2 PM. My truck has still not been taken and back. I went and asked them and they said oh I don't even know if we have the part. I told him I was here three days ago and you have the part and you told me to be there at 7:30 AM and why is my truck not back there yet? It's after 2 PM? they said they'd have to check and let me know if they could even do it that day. This is the most ridiculous situation of a repair shop I've ever run into. Then they took my truck back there at about 230 and at 3:15 came driving back out, and charged me around $600 in labor to install the part. The tech told me would take about a half an hour. Mind you the part was $170. these guys never said I'm sorry or anything, they were total jerks. I called and manager a couple weeks later and they told me that they don't charge by the hour. They charge by whatever some book says should take to make the Which they never told me ahead of time. these guys will pray on you and take you for everything I guarantee it. Stay away and go over to Rexburg or Idaho Falls. read more

Very Pleased with my experience. Not only was Adam in the service department very responsive to all of my questions he was very proactive with my warranty company. When all was said and done and I was given the balance of my portion of the bill Bruce, service manager, thought it was ridiculous and he called the warranty company and the original figure I was given was significantly decreased. Had my truck repaired by Teton Motors collision Center. Picked the truck up and within days of having it back the Rhino Lining was peeling. Their solution to fixing the problem was to repaint over the problems and this time getting it on the chrome bumper. Tried a 3rd time to get it fixed finally Mark Fagg decided to give up on it... not collecting any money for the poorly done job and supposedly writing the bill off. Turned out to not be the case. Over 2 years later they sent a threatening letter and insisted I pay over a thousand dollars for this job.. not trustworthy, poorly ran and sloppy.. read more

Teton Motors Jackson Hole handled my complex onboard computer / electrical issue on my new Silverado with professionalism and care. I had urgent travel/business planned for the day I encountered the issue. Bruce and Dave took the truck in right away, made some software updates and gave me the go-ahead to travel. I did encounter further computer glitches during my travels. When I returned Teton Motors took the truck in right away again and fully addressed the issues. I view the issues to be software "Teething" on the part of General Motors and not a reflection on Teton Motors - a first rate service organization. read more

I needed new summer tires for my Mercedes Wagon. Jason in the service department spent some time on the computer to find the specific Michelin tires I wanted not without some difficulty. They arrived within two days and I was able to get an appointment to have them installed within two days. These folks are very customer service oriented and I highly recommend them. read more

I bought a 2006 impreza wrx from teton motors in january. I knew buying a wrx I would have to dump some money here and there. I am now up to 2500$ in repairs only 3 1/2 months later. They told me it was "thoroughly inspected" by their parts service department. AKA they looked at it from afar and it turned over so it must be good. I would not recommend them to anyone wanting a reliable car off the lot, used anyways. read more

I was NOT told the truth by a used car salesman. After contacting the owner's son, Jim Auge, I was promised someone would address the situation at hand and I would be called back. No one ever called back. The car had been sold and they were trying to "switch bait" me to buy another car !! I also should never have told them I was paying cash. SLICK bunch who don't tell the truth and do not return calls if it is distasteful information. So. The lady at the front desk who told me it would take one day to receive toyota parts, took two weeks after forgetting to order, and then misordering to receive my bumper cap. They had two repairs to make, only made one. They also forgot to put my driver doormat in, and my passenger back side step on after painting. I don't know if it was the people repairing it l, or if Its the front desk people. Either way, it took way to to long. Estimated repair was one week. I picked up the car on the third Monday after dropping off with only one of the two repairs done. read more

Quickly replaced the passenger airbag as required by safety from shrapnel,from the defective airbag.

The Service Department quoted me for nearly $1,000 to replace my fuel lines and hose clamps when there was NOTHING wrong with my car other than one loose connection that I fixed myself with a Phillips screwdriver. I am from California and was on the road to visit my parents in Boulder, Wyoming. Upon entering the town of Rock Springs my check engine light came on and then reduced engine speed happened. I called Teton Chevy and they were able to get me in right away which is fantastic since diesel trucks are in season for servicing in Wyoming. Dropped off my truck and they were very quick and got my truck running just like it should. Everyone was so helpful and nice, especially since I'm from Cali!! Was told tranny fluid was "burnt" and color was bad. It had been done 2300 miles prior at a Chevy dealer I trust. Went ahead and had it done, not willing to take a chance on the road. This was my second car buying expierence, my first from Nissan was terrible! The expierence I had at Subaru was top notch. Jerremy Haynes was fantastic! Deserves a bonus! If I could give "0" stars to Teton Motors I would. I moved to Jackson in August 2014 and I've ALWAYS taken my cars to the dealership because I know that I will receive original parts, good customer service and peace of mind. So on a recent road trip, when an 18 wheeler passing the opposite direction kicked a rock up and broke my windshield my thought process was no different and I took my 2013 Tahoe to Teton Motors. I told them I needed the Windshield replaced and they quoted me a price of $340. I said "Awesome, let's do it". So I left them the car and when I came to pick it up after the windshield had been replaced, I noticed that the windshield they put in was an aftermarket windshield that had about 4-5 inches of tint across the top and not a factory windshield that I would have expected. I know most people like the tint but I'm a tall guy and the bottom of the tint was just in the upper boundary of my line of sight while driving. I thought about it and decided I didn't want to be "that guy" and figured I would give it a few days and see if I would get used to the tint and everything would be fine. Well after a few days, even though you can kind of see through the tint, I found myself craning my neck to look under the tint and it just became annoying. So I called Casey Darragh , the Service Advisor, back and told him about the issue I was having. He basically said "I completely understand and we want to take care of you. There will likely be a cost difference in the glass and labor charges". It seemed completely fair for me to pay the difference in cost for the glass but I questioned him on the labor for obvious reasons. I felt I shouldn't have to pay for labor since they originally installed a non-factory product and was different from the windshield I had originally. Casey mentioned he would talk to his glass installer and see what his thoughts were. In the meantime I called Teton Motors Parts Department and gave them the VIN number off of my Tahoe and they were able to look up the build specifications of my vehicle and tell me the exact windshield that came with my vehicle when I purchased it new and they quoted me a part cost of $345. A few minutes later, Casey called back and told me that his glass installer said that as long as the aftermarket glass they put in was re-usable and had no chips, cracks or damage of any kind that I would just have to pay the cost difference of the aftermarket windshield versus the Original Spec windshield. That seemed completely fair and so I asked Casey what the cost difference was and he said it will be about $70 to $80. I thought that was completely fair and so I took my Tahoe back in and had the windshield replaced with the non-tint version. When it was time to pay I was now told that the price was $159 and it was noted on my receipt that the aftermarket glass they originally put in could not be saved because the installer cracked the glass when trying to remove it. I apologized to Casey that the window had cracked while they were removing it and then explained to him that I didn't think that was my responsibility since they put the wrong window in to begin with. It only seemed fair that Teton Motors eat that additional cost. Casey had said this is how it has to be done and I needed my car so I could get home that evening, but prior to the transaction I asked for the managers name and Casey gladly gave me his mangers name, Chris Haderlie, and I explained to Casey that I would just call Chris and work out the cost issue with him since Chris had the authority to do that. So I called Chris the Service Manager and explained the events that occurred above, and his viewpoint was that the new original windshield to install would have been $640 from the beginning and that since I paid $340 for the 1st windshield and $159 for the 2nd windshield for a total of $499 that I was still getting a good deal. His math make complete sense but the fact is that I was quoted an additional cost of $70 - $80 that I agreed to and not $159. When I asked Chris about that he said that Casey told him that he never quoted me the $70 - $80 so it then became a "his word against my word" conversation which was futile. Additionally when you do the math of the original windshield quoted at $345 from Teton Motors Parts department and the complete cost of installation of $640, then that means that labor cost is $295. So when you compare that to the cost of the aftermarket windshield they installed originally at $340 and subtract the labor cost of $295 then Chris is basically saying that the aftermarket windshield itself only cost $45. It just doesn't add up. At the end of the day it's only $80 more that I had to pay than what I was quoted but that's exactly the point, it was only $80! Earlier they had mentioned that I would likely need to replace my windshield once every 1-2 years and the fact that Teton Motors was willing to lose a customer over $80 and a multitude of other services seems crazy. read more

A few weeks later they found my perfect 4Runner across the country and made sure I had first dibs... They made the buying process comfortable, quick and thoroughly answered my questions. I STRONGLY recommend working with the Teton Motors team and feel 100% confident with my car and their support. They found my dream car, held my hand throughout the buying process and even stayed in touch to help me find some heavy duty car mats for winter. Turns out...
