I want to say from the jump that Able Baker has amazing (uh-may-zing) beer. They make so many varieties that perfectly capture the many nuances and textures that beer has to offer. Their establishment is easily accessible in the heart of the historic Vegas Arts District, nestled among bars, vintage shops, and cafes. It has an open seating plan that allows even for children as long as they're not up at the bar. They have TVs showing local or national sporting events, and offer a glimpse into the history of Nevada's Atomic Test Site. It is an amazing brewery experience. That said, the only knock I'll give them is their beertenders are not all that knowledgeable of the product. My companion, who is deep into the local craft-beer scene, and personally knows the owners of this brewery, said, "They just hire pretty people." It's just a choice they make, and I get it. If you're knowledgeable about beer, and know the flavors and styles you like, Able Baker on top notch. If you're new to craft beer, or unsure of what you like, there are probably better places to start your journey. They would probably do well to have their beertenders go through some tasting sessions so they can better speak about the amazing beer. read more

If you're in the Arts District and would like some quirky fun, come here. This brewery does not hide the fact that they have a weird obsession with rubber duckies. They offer a large list of beers and even some wines. There is a kitchen inside that makes some tasty treats. There is bar, indoor, and outdoor seating. I would love to see more sours and cidres on tap as well as more vegetarian and vegan options on the food menu. The cauliflower bites and elote dip were both amazing and worth a try. I also had a blueberry beer that wasn't overly hoppy if beer isn't your jam. The staff is friendly and there is paid parking across the street. Definitely stop on by. read more

My husband and I attended a after work social gathering with a few colleagues. It was our first visit to Able Baker Brewing. We were greeted by a young lady working behind the food ordering counter. It is an open concept with outside seating as well as inside with community tables and bar seating. We sat outside with our group at a community table. The sandwich board displays food specials and they have a bar code to scan for the menu. We ordered a hot pastrami sandwich with a garden salad. My husband enjoyed the hot pastrami sandwich with melted cheese and peppers. There were layers upon layers of tender pastrami piled high on a toasted roll. The salad had a variety of mixed salad greens with small grape tomatoes, shredded carrot, croutons and ranch dressing on the side. I added a bottle of sweet tea with ice in a cup. My husband ordered iced water. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere busy with people watching the Knights play in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Unfortunately they lost on Wednesday. We recently traveled to Vegas and my travel buddy's only request was to have great wings. After a quick yelp search, we landed on Able Baker. The wings are served in 1 1/2 lb portions and you can have 2 sauces. The mango habanero was good, but the Buffalo was great! We also got Garbage nachos which were anything but Garbage! Chicken and pork belly and everything in between! The beers were great!!! My favorites were the hazy IPAs. Would definitely come back to this brewery next time we're in Vegas!! I have been here more than a couple times, this is probably one of my favorite places to stop for a drink while I am walking around the arts District. Stopped in this past Saturday to grab a snack and a pint. The staff is always extremely friendly and the interior, the somewhat limited because of the brewery that is on the premises, has always had more than accommodating seating. The bartenders are always friendly and can answer any questions you have about their very extensive beer menu. If you like craft beer then there's bound to be something that will fit your tastes on their tap selection. Aside from the high quality beer, Able Baker also provides really really high quality food. I've had their wings, fish tacos, Bahn mi, and ceviche and I've loved all of them. Pretty much every brewery in town also serves food but I would say that Able Baker does it better than the rest, at least the ones that I've been to. They have a diverse menu and use high quality fresh ingredients I definitely recommend stopping by for a pint and some food if you are in the area! read more

Came here late at night for the first time while checking out other bars around the Arts District. We came in right before closing just for one drink, so it was empty in here and it was a Monday night. Places online say they have cocktails here, which is not the case. But we didn't come for cocktails anyway. The beer selection is good and I was able to sample a few before making a decision. Loved everything I tried! So if you like IPAs, you won't be disappointed. We didn't try any food, so I can't comment on that. All I know is I want to be back for these reasons: 1. The beer was good. 2. To try the food. 3. To watch a VGK game here. My boyfriend and I usually aren't impressed with most of the breweries in Vegas, however this place is pretty dang good! They have a list of 30ish beers hanging above the bar to choose from. The first time we came we got a flight so that we could sample a few first before deciding. I'm all for dark beers, so their coffee brown ale was my FAV! Parking is street parking only, so brush off your parallel parking skills and give it a go. Decor is very cute and duck themed, since ducks were apparently the only things to survive atomic bomb testing. Some atomic history is written on the wall to explain their namesake. They also have a separate kitchen if you get hungry. Seating is indoor and outdoor on their patio. Even the bench seats inside have duck prints on them. read more

Coming from an area that I consider to be Beer Heaven - I am SUPER picky about my brews and breweries (yes, yes, I know - stuck up IPA snob here). And let's be honest - Vegas is still up and coming with their beer scene. It has IMPROVED SIGNIFICANTLY in the past couple of years and I am very excited about the direction it is heading! I had discovered Able Baker from a Yelp search and had always had it on my list of places to visit so when my sister mentioned wanting to go there - I jumped on the opportunity. I had my two littles in tow - but HEY NO PROBLEM as they are totally kid friendly too. (and yes, I hate taking my kids to a brewery because let's face it, us adults need some BEER time without kids running around so I did plan on leaving if my kids became obnoxious) We got a couple of beer flights so we could try all of the yummy beers that they had available and surprisingly my favorite was a Mango Hefe (which I don't typically drink) but it was absolutely PERFECT for the hot summer day! There was ample seating and a lot of "community tables" so even though the place was busy, there was still a lot of room. And don't get me started on the food! The Tikka Masala Wings were a hit at our table as well as the Chicken Sammy. I look forward to going back and trying more yummy brews and food soon! read more

Wanted to visit a new brewery this past weekend and decided to try out Able Baker because they had a pretty good selection of food! We made it just in time for last call for the kitchen so we were able to order pork belly nachos and burgers. Probably one of the best nachos I've had! Yum. I give their food 5 stars! Their beer get 3 stars from me. I think their food is on point so they need to focus on improving their beer selection next. The IPA I got tasted more like a stout. And the Pilsner tasted more like an IPA. Hmm maybe we got the wrong items. I will give this another try again and check out their other beers. read more

Great selection of craft beers for the light or dark beer drinker. The location was very busy, but the staff was quick and friendly and kept tables clean as they became available. The beers we tried were the Honey Dip Stout as pictured and the Allied Oil Campaign. Both were delicious. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! DO NOT HESITATE GOING HERE!!! This is my second time here and they have yet to disappoint. Some notes, this isn't a full service restaurant. You order your beers at the bar and you order all your food at a separate food window. I ordered the habanero mango chicken sandwich. For $11 it was HUGE! I ate every bite and if I were a little more tipsy I would have licked all the mango habanero sauce off the tray, lol! My bf ordered the fish po boy, also $11, and although he said it was really good, we ended up back here in the evening after exploring downtown and we ordered the fish tacos, $9.50 for 2 huge tacos, to which he said he liked wayyy better. The tortillas were nice and soft, the green salsa is mouth watering (not crazy spicy), and the breaded fish was soooo tasty. I didn't try the po boy but the fish tacos were really yummy. Lastly, we ordered a build your own flight (4 beer samplers for $20). I'm not a beer expert but I have to say, there wasn't a beer here I tasted and didn't like. If you're going here for a first time, they have a preset beer sampler for $10 you can't go wrong with. We went on a Saturday. The day time was a mix of families and adults hanging out to watch sports on the big screen tvs. Later at night it was all your downtown party folks just having a good time. The best brewery in Las Vegas. They really try to cover all styles through their rotating selection of 30 or so beers. Open air and loungy - like a Starbucks brewery. It's open seating. Usually packed on Friday/Saturday night, but never had a problem finding a seat. The food is pretty good - although considered a separate business. I usually take the kids and have dinner. Parking is a little tricky. There are a few spot on the street, but they are usually filled. Recommend the parking lot across the street - you have to pay in either case, but it is relatively cheap. read more

Love this place! I went yesterday afternoon with a friend that has been frequenting this bar for months now. The staff was friendly, there was plenty of open seating and they have a lovely outdoor area that's perfect for social distancing. I had a cherry berry bang bang that was recommended by the waitress when I asked for a fruity beer. It was perfect! We ordered the dynamite crab dip to munch on and it was served warm with fresh hot pita bread. It was delicious! We ordered several more beers and enjoyed the shady patio whilst people watching. Came with my cousin to Able Baker Brewing for some dranks in January, and it was a good time. Tbh, I only sipped/tasted the beer and stuck with cider all night. Nonetheless, I just thought it was a good spot to just chill. I didn't try food, so it seems I'd need to return to give a more fair review. Food came out fast just a little on the pricey side, had a regular burger and fries came out to I think $19 at least it was good. I picked a random beer off the wall and it was ok for like $8 bucks.
