First time visiting this brewery with no idea how close it was. Great having a local brewery that's on the north side of town. I had the Idaho Youdaho hazy ipa.. so good I had 2. I sampled the beer with pineapple and mango, which I can't remember the name now.. it was also good but that hazy thoooough. Johnny took great care of us letting us sample a couple. They also have food trucks there and have the schedule online. Great place to have a drink.

Homemade michelada mix specifically from North 5th. It works great with various beers.

This is such a great brewery. I love the family and the staff. The location being off the beaten path is great because you find good quality. As a female I feel safe coming in by myself and hanging out. It's a good little work spot too.

    The beer here is everything

I really enjoyed my first visit to North 5th Brewing Co. The bartender was helpful, patient, and knowledgeable about the various beers available. I felt very welcome. I tried the Cream Weaver cream ale first. It was light and very flavorful. I really liked it. After that I tried their Adobe Hefeweizen, which delivered flavors of banana and clove. I would definitely try both of those again. North 5th also features selections from other local breweries like Crafthaus and Lovelady, which is a nice touch. They has a nice bar area. There are TV's on that feature sports programs, which is always a plus for me. I will definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good beer from a local brew.

Another new brewery has opened and it happens to be the first craft brewery to open in North Las Vegas. It is family owned and operated. The beers are brewed here onsite. I have been waiting to try and since my favorite pizza truck (Izzy's Pizza Bus) was going to be there, we decided to double our pleasure with tasty brews and the best pizza ever! For this weekend, the brewery was serving a special brew - Basil Saison. I am a huge fan of Saisons and couldn't wait to try a pint or two of this new brew. It was also brewed in limited quantity. The location is a little out of the way but close enough I15 North. Once we arrived, we walked in and the bar was full. We went around the corner into a huge warehouse and found additional seating. We ordered our brews and Wow! So damn good and this specially brewed beer paired perfectly with our pizza. The Basil Saison has the perfect finish. Subtle but you could taste the basil. The brewery is deceiving as you think it's small when you first walk in but once you discover the "Brew Room" there is plenty of seating for all and there is air conditioning. Service was great as most breweries hire friendly people. I am hopeful that this brewery will continue to serve this satisfying brew. I will be sure to sample other ones too. If you enjoy good craft beer be sure to check out this new gem.

Passing through the I-15 on our way back home from Utah and we decided to come check out North 5th Brewing, the first brewery to open in North Las Vegas. We are usually never around this area (we live in Henderson) so this was the perfect opportunity to visit. It was a Sunday afternoon so the bar was quiet/cozy. I had wanted to sit outside, but it looked like it was about to rain, so we chose to sit at the bar. My mom and I tried out three different beers - the Yippee Pie Yay (a mixed berry imperial sour), the White Cloud (saison), and the Single Layer Jacket (cream ale with orange and vanilla). I liked all three beers, but I think my favorite overall was the Yippee Pie Yay. If you like fruit/sour beers, then I'd definitely recommend it. They don't serve food directly, but they have a food truck onsite. I don't remember the name of the food truck that was there, unfortunately. It's always great to see/hear that more and more breweries are opening in and around the Las Vegas valley. I just wish we were closer to this one. If we're on this side of town again, we'll definitely come back.

The newest kid on the block is definitely worth a visit. North 5th Brewing is the first North Las Vegas brewery, but don't let that intimidate you. It's in an industrial-zoned area less than ten minutes away from Tenaya Creek, making it a worthwhile stop or kickoff to a beer crawl. Currently boasting about 9 of their own beers (one of which is a member-exclusive) and as many guest beers from various other local breweries, they surely have something for craft beer connoisseurs of every stripe. Flights are available too, with your choice of 4 brews priced individually by beer from $2 to $4 (in relation to the full pours, which cost $6 to $9). The flight carrier is one of those which must be lifted to hold the rounded, Belgian-style beer taster glasses, but it feels fairly sturdy and light, allowing you to carry it easily to a table in the taproom or in the rear brewhouse-adjacent seating area. Rather than spending all day breaking down every single beer in my flights, I will say that their opening lineup is very solid and certainly above average for a newly launched Vegas brewery. While there isn't anything which can't be missed yet, I didn't pick up any off-flavors and I didn't have any big issues with anything. Assistant Brewer Sam Tofte and co-owner Amanda Payan were both very nice and checked up on me during my stay. Power outlets are available everywhere inside the taproom in case you need to plug in your phone. NFL playoff action was on all of the TVs, with volume on. A food truck was stationed outside, although finding one here might be a bit hit-and-miss until they get more of a track record / following. North 5th Brewing is a great addition so far to the Las Vegas Valley, and I'm eagerly awaiting all the offerings they have in store for the future and hoping that they eventually max out their spacious brewhouse area.

Micro brews here are absolute bangers! The only brewery in North Las Vegas, family owned, amazing beertenders and almost always a food truck on property. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Try out the Fierro (Mexican Lager) and sit back and enjoy!!! They also serve some guest beers and wine but trust me when I say that their N 5th beers are a must try.

This is a German Pilsner mixed with lemonade. Yum. It is called a Shandy.

Locally crafted beer!? Yes count me in! Las Vegas is fast growing craft beer community is awesome. Many will have their favorites, but I suggest trying them all. Make an honest assessment and don't knock anyone. If it's not your jam, move on. That's what makes North 5th so different. I tried many of their beers but not all. The ones I tried were some darker beers, Stouts are so good. Then I tried something new. They had one called Cream Weaver, and it was scary smooth!!! Then I had an IPA called Save the Volcano, I loved the grapefruit notes and balanced flavors. They have so many options and special events. I can't wait to come back.

After reading mixed reviews, I honestly wasn't sure what to expect and was prepared to be disappointed. Instead, my husband and I found our new favorite breakfast spot. Village Pub is a cozy neighborhood pub with a separate non-smoking dining area, which we really appreciated. We both ordered the steak and eggs, and wow--everything was cooked exactly as requested. The steaks were tender and flavorful, the eggs were perfect, and the portions were generous. It was one of those meals where every bite reminds you why simple food done right is so good. My husband was especially excited because the breakfast potatoes came with bell peppers, something he's been looking for everywhere. They were soft, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again, this time for lunch. We started with the potato skins, and they were enormous! We expected a small appetizer, but the portion was more than enough for two people to share. For lunch, I ordered the fish and chips after hearing they were one of the menu favorites. They did not disappoint. The fish was hot, fresh, and had an incredibly crispy batter that stayed crunchy with every bite. You could tell it was made fresh to order. My husband ordered the steak sandwich, and we were both shocked by how huge it was. He originally planned on taking half home, but it was so good he ended up finishing the whole thing. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff. Every time we've visited, everyone has been friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Village Pub has quickly become our go-to spot. (Which I totally understand) I gladly moved over, and once I was sitting on the spot and started to drink my beer I was asked to move AGAIN over one more spot, and I looked at the spot and noticed that it was just one chair in between two gaming machines with absolutely no space or room for comfort, I thought to myself she's got to be kidding, right she doesn't expect me to sit at the corner of this bar in between two machines with no space to even lean over on the bar cause you got the the corner jamming you right in the gut. I decided to walk out and leave. There were a total of 2 people sitting at the bar with almost every seat wide open. But she needed me to sit in a random spot between 2 chairs, and yeah, maybe I wasn't gaming at that moment, but I had a couple hundred dollars in my pocket that I possibly could've put in a machine if I really felt like it. Nearly all the seating here are high tops. Also I can imagine nobody would be able to get a wheelchair into the entrance with that too close fence. They offer a nice variety of items on their menu. I thought the five different salads they offer seemed just right for lunch so I tried the Asian Chopped Salad. Our server was very helpful and asked if I wanted the dressing tossed into it or on the side. I received a nice large fresh salad. The chicken in it seemed freshly made and was OK. The bartenders are friendly, fast, and somehow know when you need another drink before you even emotionally process that your glass is empty. It's like they have ESPN, but for thirst. They check in just enough to make you feel taken care of without making you feel like you're being supervised on a field trip. The food deserves its own standing ovation. I don't know who is back there in the kitchen performing miracles, but everything came out hot, flavorful, and suspiciously better than bar food has any right to be. I ordered "just something small" and ended up guarding my plate like a medieval knight protecting treasure. Zero regrets. The vibe? Immaculate. Good music, good energy, and the kind of atmosphere where you accidentally stay three hours longer than planned and start telling strangers your life story. Now. I do have to mention the guy with the mullet. I don't know if he works there, owns the place, or is simply part of the décor--but he moves through the bar with an intensity that suggests he has either won multiple bar fights or could fix a motorcycle in under seven minutes. He hasn't done anything wrong. He hasn't even spoken. But the mullet commands respect. It's business in the front, mild intimidation in the back. That said, even the mysterious Mullet Energy adds to the charm. It keeps you humble. It keeps you alert. It keeps you ordering another round just to stay on his good side. All in all: phenomenal service, delicious food, great atmosphere, and one slightly intimidating hairstyle. Five stars. Would absolutely return--preferably with the mullet on my team
