When we took it in to be fixed, it was clear that the throttle body on it was not the original one and had recently been replaced. DEFINITELY AVOID! One of our worst places to purchase a used vehicle. I understand the buy-as-is policy. Believe me, we have purchased a few used vehicles in past years that have been GREAT cars after putting in a little more money. Knowing that you will have some minor fixes is expected. My daughter's first car purchase and when we arrived at the dealership, we test-drove a few of them. In one of the vehicles we test-drove the brakes did not sound the best, but the owner said NO the brakes are good, just had them checked. He told all three of us how they have the vehicles all checked out and do a ton of work on them before they hit the sales floor. We purchased 2001 Toyota Rav4. Have read great reviews on this little SUV and here it was. There was a scratch on the sunroof, we were worried it would leak. The lock on the driver's side was not working and was told the part was ordered and should arrive soon. It's March and I have yet to see the lock. As of today, not just the drive lock on the driver's side not working but three of the locks are failing. NO BIGGIE we can fix that with minor costs. The driver's side window motor went out on the driver's door. No BIG deal we can fix that. Purchased this vehicle in January of 2023 my daughter worked hard to save money for her first purchase. Only driving this vehicle for a month, she got stranded while she was out shopping. She went to start the car and the entire car started shaking than would shut off on her when she went to start it. Had to have the vehicle towed. Car was in the shop in February 2023, and barely a month. Cost a whopping $2,700 bucks! What a Lemon problem! The auto shop receipt is as follows of just some of the items needed: cooling system pressure needed to be tested, hoses(emh360) crankcase vent hose removed and replace pcv valve, power steering (21-5276) PS Pump RMFD remove and replace, power steering pump, Rack and pinion. 26-2612 remove and replace steering gear, coolant fluid exchange w/ local purch antifreeze(inspect all cool system) radiator replacement, WP202882-api radiator the list goes on and on. The kicker, an oil change is even recommended. REALLY? UGH. I did call on 3/28/2023 asking about the lock part. Said it had been sitting on his couch. But I also wanted to let him know all the problems this car had. It was mostly feedback to maybe do better. I would be writing a review of our experience. He was a little bit rude, You're going to bash me online? I said NO, just going to give honest feedback about our experience with this place. The response I got was - Well, you bought it! You knew. This is what happens when you buy a car with lots of mileage. YES, of course, I am aware. But will put it online for others to BEWARE. I am sorry that you have been in and out of the hospital for three months. Selling a car that has this many problems should be held accountable, and one should do better as a business. Allowing others to read about our experience can allow others to learn from our experience and allow them to be aware. We went to this place based on the online reviews but don't feel they can be trusted 100 percent. This was our experience with this used car place, and it was not a good one. SADLY, the sunroof does leak. So best to go with your gut. BEWARE of what you buy at this location. Not all purchases are five-star buys. 3/29/2023 called us about the lock to verify the address and wanted to screenshot and text pictures of some vehicle inspections that were done. I told him it's way late for that and I don't want to argue with you. I did hang up. Feeling badly about hanging up I did call back just told the guy I don't want to argue with you, and pretty much he said he will see me in court for slander. I purchased a 2008 Honda Pilot from this dealership. Jeff the owner let me inspect the vehicle inside and out with a flashlight before the test drive. The Pilot is in near perfect condition for having 200,000 miles on it. Jeffs father took me on the test drive. The car drove perfect. Jeff and his dad are laid back and mellow. If I could give it zero stars I would. There is nothing good I can say about this place. I was unfortunate enough to purchase a car from these scumbags, so I'm hoping this review might deter other buyers. I bought a car from them in NOVEMBER of '08. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PLATES OR TAGS! It is now nearing the end of MARCH '09. Jeff (the owner of this dump) is a dirty lying car salesman. He claims that the plates and tags were sent out weeks after the purchase. When I returned to tell him I had not received them, he had me fill out paperwork to request another copy from the DMV. I asked him that once they received that, to please keep it in the office and call me when it was there, and I would pick it up. ANOTHER MONTH GOES BY...and that brings us to today. I called him this morning to see if its just sitting in the office. HE LIES TO ME, and tells me my boyfriend went in a couple days ago and said "Forget it, we'll go to the DMV ourselves" After some words were exchanged he said "You can come pick up a copy of the registration to take to the DMV" We get there and he has us wait in the sun for 30 minutes just to come back out and say "I'm sorry, I don't seem to have a copy of the registration, you can just go to the DMV and sort this out there" NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS SHADY BASTARD! read more

I just had the best car buying experience less than an hour ago and have to give these guys a review. After weeks of researching online and looking at lots we narrowed our check list down to two cars, both of which were at About New. We did our due diligence and were pre-approved for a loan and brought the NADA Blue Book report for both cars with us. We arrived on the lot and were greeted by Nima. He asked us what we were looking for and we told him the two we had in mind. He politely stepped aside and let us give them a once over without interfering or interjecting. After our test drive we were sure we wanted to talk financing. So he again politely stepped aside and let us talk. We quickly decided we were going to make an offer, there was no question. Here's the best part - The car (2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71) was already priced below blue book value and we were pre-approved for less than the asking price, not including taxes/title/fees. Previously we had decided that if they didn't take the offer, it would be okay, there wouldn't be much else we could do but go back to the drawing board and begin our search again elsewhere. We presented the offer to Nima and he proposed it to the owner Jeff. Without hesitation he came back with a deal we couldn't pass up. Jeff dropped the price even more and honored the pre-approval so we were able to cover taxes/title/fees! We were stunned that there was no haggling involved. And to top it off - Jeff had already bought new cap covers for the wheels but they hadn't arrived, he offered to mail them to us when they arrive. That's going the extra mile. From the moment we looked at their inventory online, to walking on the lot, to driving our new car home we had the best car buying experience, hands down. Their inventory is picked with high standards and their friendly staff and no haggle financing is deserving of 10 stars if I could. I bought a 1998 Honda Civic EX that was really nice from these people. They were on Fulton Ave at that time. I really really liked this car and had to have it. I came in and wrote down my offer which they refused. They told me they would accept nothing but full price on the car, which IMO, was too expensive and was much more than other car lots were asking for the same model car; however, I had already fallen in love with the gorgeous car so I came around to agreeing with the overly high price. I bought it outright for 6499$ if I remember right in 2008, I think it was. I immediately took the car and upgraded the stereo system, tinted the windows, put new door handles on it, put custom tires and rims on it, put in new struts and shocks on the car, replaced the timing belt and water pump, and changed the oil, put in a custom exhaust systema nd a fat chrome tail pipe! (the exhaust system sounded sweet!) I also put in new OEM headlights too, and finally had it detailed. It was expensive to do all that after purchasing the car - but let me tell you, after doing all that, the car looked AMAZING and drove brand new - drove like a dream and everything felt new! I took it back to show the guys at the dealership what I had done with it and they had to agree the car looked TOTALLY SWEET! I had the car for 6 long years and it never let me down! I had to replace the carbeurator at one point but I think my neighbor messed it up - i don't believe the car had the problem on its own .....had to replace the electric window regulator at least 3 times which became frustrating but it worked fine off the lot... I finally sold the car in 2013 because I fell on really hard times...that car had been amazing for me and still ran perfect until the day I had to sell it :( Would have given 5 stars if they would've negotiated the price with me but they refused to negotiate at all - so only 4 stars! read more

This is a place where retired and older folks go to dump there problematic cars. This place will take cars on co-assigment and often with no history on the vehicle. I too fell for this behavior. I purchased a 1991 Honda Prelude with 141K miles in 7/2017. Immediately after buying the car and getting it to the house the A/C stopped working. Jeff took it to some guy in sacramento who's solution was to tie the compressor hot lead into the cooling fan's hot lead. So everytime the cooling fans came on so did the A/C compressor regardless of the A/C switch being on and off which meant that everytime the car was sitting in traffic the cooling fans would come on and so would the compressor. I traced the problem down to the splice that was done by Jeff's supposed expert and reversed that problem. The AC system on preludes is a complicated system and if the compressor pump and engine are not turning at the same speed the CPU will shut down the compress and a red light will illuminate on the dashboard. The guy should had done his homework and should not have been allowed anywhere near the car. The final straw was 11K miles late the lower engine is giving a knocking sound. I had it dignosed by two trusted shops and it is either crank, rods, or bearings. Thanks a lot 11K miles and three synthetic oil changes and the engine is bad. Now I have to source a new engine which would be more than what I paid for the car. All said when done I will be in this car for almost $9K which is easily twice what the car is worth. Never trust jeff or ny car on his lot which does not have maintenance history. IMO I don't understand why Jeff would even sell co-signed vehicles without demanding a vehicle inspection at the owners expense or his own expense. Before the engine started to implode I was looking at a 2003 Lexus 430 ultra and had arranged an appointment to look at the car only to find that jeff was not at the lot. But when I was driving home the car was parked at Burger King right next door. Obviously my time was not worth anything to Jeff and after the experience with the one car that I bought from him I'm glad that I did not buy the lexus. I learned a costly lesson but a lexus would be even more costly. If you can avoid at all cost or DEMAND a vehicle inspection. Don't buy someone elses problem and that dealership is in the heart of SUN CITY with plenty of retirees dumping cars. Steer Clear read more

I came and when I saw the car, it was scratched and dirty because over the phone he told me that he is driving it home.... he knew i'm coming and he didn't even clean it... when I asked him if he can patch the scratches or lower the price he told me " no, have a good day" and went to his office! I wish I would have seen the reviews first.I bought a car from Jeff at his Lincoln lot. After 50 miles the check engine light came on for emissions leak, tell me how did this car pass smog legally? Also the car was sold missing lug nuts (who checks for that) and with a break light and front light out. To say he was nice or pleasant would be a bit of a stretch. he does not "talk price" basically if you want it you pay what he is asking or leave. I attempted to reach him several times to discuss the engine light but finally had to pay almost $400 for the repairs. Pretty sure there are laws against selling a vehicle in this condition, Dishonest people always get away with stuff and honest people pay the price. I wonder if he would let his daughter drive this car away to college the way he sold it to me, I bet not!!! read more

Where do I begin! If I could could give zero stars I would! The owner Jeff is total jerk! I went in there looking for a car and told him I had a trade in and small downpayment. He explained the process to me and we processed to run the credit. I was approved by the bank and everything and waited almost two whole weeks to then find out the asshole didn't want to work with me because of my low down payment. I would have appreciated him telling me this up front instead of wasting my time and dinging my credit!! I called everyday for two whole weeks to check status he kept saying he was working on it. He couldn't even have the desentsy to tell me it was not going to happen. Instead he dodged my calls and had his receptionist tell me the bank backed out! Which was total bs seeing as how I called the bank and they told me I was approved and needed to speak with about new. I would never recommend this place to anyone their dealings are shady and the owner Jeff is a flat out asshole! Please take your business and money elsewhere! read more
