I've hired them 3 times with the most recent being a full house move from start to finish. The first two experiences were flawless but the 3rd really showed the professionalism in all aspects of the experience. Loading a moving truck efficiently with stuff you've never seen before, with various degrees of fragility including boxes packed mostly by amateurs, is an art requiring skill and creativity beyond what most people realize I think. Above and Beyond not only met, but exceeded my moving expectations. It started with great communication with their front office. Scheduling the move was a snap, and the process was explained to me in detail. I had never hired movers before, so Michelle was super helpful. When moving day arrived, Roy and Dante showed up right on time and quickly got to work packing and loading everything up. Roy has a PhD in Truck Packing, and used every cubic inch of space in the truck in order to get all of our stuff. Both him and dante were very friendly and easy to work with. They quickly unloaded everything and put it in its new place in our home. No scuffs, no scratches, no wall damage... everything went perfectly. we recently moved from anthem to phoenix and everyone at above and beyond movers was great. I did contact a couple other moving companies for estimates and they were not the least expensive but also not the most. I decided to "risk" it since I had not seen any reviews on YELP and am glad that I did. They did show up about 20 minutes after they planned but did call to let us know and did not start the charge until they actually began moving. We had three guys that worked hard, fast, and cautiously. Nothing was missing or broken. The estimate was very close and probably would have been rite on if we didn't need more moved than planned. I truly do not think I would have saved much if i tried to move myself. They are worth every cent. I would use them again and definitely recommend them to anyone that is moving. Brian read more

If I only I could chose a less then one star rating I would. I used this company for labor only. they packed a truck for me for a long distance move. Who in the world would pack fragile boxes that say GLASS at the bottom and then stack heavy totes on top of them. Well when received the packed truck at my destination it was not a pretty site. My boxes arrived squashed and the contents did not look the same way I packed them. Then I tried to talk to them to get this issue resolved and they were not very helpful, instead tell me that it's my fault because of how I packed the fragile boxes. I did not put heavy totes on top of fragile boxes, that is not my fault!! I would never recommend this company and I am just disappointed in the customer service that was provided. read more

I've used Above & Beyond Movers three times. Once moving a 3,800 sq ft home within Phoenix (with my husband in the hospital). Once to a cabin in Munds Park; in the snow. We have moved many times and have used movers before for our move. I am shocked at the poor communication and lack of accountability from this company. We relied on their so called "professional movers" to pack our move and the end result was a nightmare!! After we tried to bring this to their attention they stated we were negligent in our packaging of items and our stuff was destroyed because we didn't choose to have blankets purchased to protect our items. We are more disappointed at how they handled our claim than at the damage done. At the very least an apology or accountability for the way things were loaded would have sufficed! Instead we received an email asking to "call them" so we can work something out "if" the review was taken off Yelp! Really??? Supposedly an insurance claim was filed (without us even being notified about this) and denied due to "negligence" (on our end)! The only negligence we admit to is in not researching this company before we decided to hire them for the job! Shady business!! Please beware! I believe they could have handled the issue in a more professional and caring manner instead of playing the blame game and being dismissive! Pictures will show their negligence as items were placed on top of boxes marked "Fragile" "Glass" but yet blankets and poor packaging on our end was the problem????? Get real!!! read more

I can't say enough good tho ha about this company they have helped me move 4 houses in the last two months. Very professional and wrapped everything extremely well.
