I have used Massey to move my classic cars before. Today I needed a breakdown tow (just 2 miles) but the Massey lady said they were "swamped" with no local drivers available right then and it would be "a couple of hours" so I called another Douglasville company. Their driver showed up, was condescending, and used some language I won't repeat. Just plain rude and pushy. I told him to go away and I called Massey back, and told them I would wait at the location with my car. Massey showed up in five minutes. (no exaggeration). He was exceptional. A young guy. He was very cautious hooking to the car. Money was not a big concern in this but Massey was still less than the bad company. I made sure the Massey driver knew I was grateful.

worst experience I've ever had with a tow company... and the bad thing about it is, I used to ONLY…read moreuse this tow truck company and my wife and I have used them to tow 20+ times back when Tim the owner was still the one running the truck.. used to be great very affordable.. we hadn't used them in a while 5+ years or more tho and it's gone down hill like crazy!!! I was 10 miles from my house. There was an entire wheel and tire in road and i hit it going about 50 mph because I didn't see it, my low beams lights are not that great. deployed all air bags and the car would not move. gps came out and called S&S towing and they showed up and the guy was extremely rude said it would be 500 dollars to take it to his shop, 540 dollars to take it to my house 10 miles up the road or 515 dollars to take it to a different address like 6 miles up the road or 350 to drop it off on the side of the road and then I would have had to call another tow truck driver anyway. So I basically had no choice but to use them and he told me that they only took cash period that's all they took. he got really mad and made smart comments every time I asked him to figure up a different place to take the car because 500+ plus to go 10 miles or less is highway robbery and I was just tying to go the most affordable option possible... eventually I said just take it to my house for 540... we get to my house and he walks up and says where is the cash I'm not doing anything until I have it with a major attitude, I pay him the cash. I tell him where I wanted it at in my yard and he said ill put it in neutral and it can roll off my truck and if it makes it where you want it, great if not, don't know what to tell you... so for the highway robbery towing prices they don't even put it where you want them too.. and he was backed up to kind of a hill on my yard and I said I don't even think you're gonna be able to get the car into neutral to get it to roll and I don't want it parked on that hill, and he said I've been in the towing business for 10 years genius, I know what I'm doing... Im like really dude your a straight up ass hole and walked away, and he got the car and a neutral and rolled it. Kind of near where I wanted it... and he said if you got someone else to sign this receipt, I'll give them a receipt.. and I said no one else is gonna come out here and sign your receipt.. and he went and put it in the driver seat without anyone signing for it and when he was getting in and out of the car every time he was ripping on the airbags and slamming stuff around in the car... he didn't give a shit if I had plans on fixing that car. He didn't respect the in anyway he was an absolute asshole from the second. He walked up to us Tim the owner used to have a heart and would work with you now he's got assholes running his truck that have no empathy or respect Avoid this towing company at all costs!!! Their rates are double whatever everyone else's is and they will just treat you and your property like trash

This business is extremely unprofessional and a SCAM business, they do not have their business…read morehours posted anywhere on their website, and when you google it - they claim 24 hour, which is misleading they are NOT open 24 hours. The only place you know or see what their business hours are is once you are inside their building. We came at 5:20 on a Friday 11/14/2025, there were several people standing outside (including the owner) they were very cold almost looked "racist" with their body language and basically said we are closed, this is all an attempt charge you for another 24 hours. Not once the entire time during the day when we called did they mention you need to be here before 5:00 (Mon-Friday) they told us everything but that detail. The next day we went back Saturday, they were supposed to open at 12:00, nobody was there, we had to call and the same guy who was there the night prior says we will be there in about 15 minutes (unprofessional) so the only place they a "bootleg" sign posting their business hours is a typed up paper taped near their window "inside" s you can't see it or won't know this unless you are inside because they strategically do not post it on their website or mention it when you call so they can charge you another $25. This racist guy could have easily allowed us to get the car Friday evening because he was standing outside talking to the other racist folks when we pulled up, they gave us a look and "you just know that vibe". I would never recommend this place or do business with them and I am going to file a complaint with the better business bureau as well, they are deceptive in not posting their business hours - they don't want you to know.

I recently returned after living in four states during my career. I have always had three criteria when I make a move to a new location, and they have served me well. Find: 1. A Doctor you can relate to and trust. 2. Someone who gives a great haircut. 3. An auto mechanic you can trust and who does great work. I've found #3 in Decatur Pure Station. After my early check-in, I sat in the waiting area for about two hours, watching and listening to the manager interacting with customers. My observations? Friendly, matter-of-fact, clear. Andy explained everything going on with his client's cars. He made recommendations, and more importantly, noted what didn't need to be done. He gave accurate representations about when services would be completed. For my car, he got the part quickly and told me they had looked over the whole car and only found one repair that needed to be made (besides my originating situation). He was accurate in his honesty, because I already knew I was needing a new rear brake job in the next month. While my car was being repaired, I walked around downtown Decatur. I reacquainting myself with some old, and mostly new, businesses and restaurants. I arrived back at the repair shop in the mid-afternoon, just after they finished repairing the car.
