Great products but know EXACTLY what you're getting. Install may not go as planned leaving you with appliances laying around because their installers cannot complete the job because certain things they cannot complete. Title: Appalling Customer Service Experience at Ferguson Today was the day the straw broke the camel's back. My experience with Ferguson in Buckhead has been nothing short of frustrating, and I feel utterly compelled to share my dissatisfaction. The customer service here is, quite frankly, abysmal, and any apologies from the staff seem insincere and hollow. After spending over $50,000 on appliances for both my mountain home and my homes in Atlanta over the last three years, I am bewildered that this company maintains its standing in the market. My recent purchase on April 1, 2025, included a KitchenAid double oven, a Miele dishwasher, and a shower sprayer with connection hose--all totaling around $8,000. We were in evaluating SubZero for the refrigerator but not in stock at the time. I specifically asked Lisa, the sales representative, to confirm that these items were in stock, as we opted not to go with a different brand due to supply issues. Lisa assured me that the Miele dishwasher was indeed available. Given the looming tariffs, I expressed my concern about potential fees, to which she nodded in understanding. However, a week later, my shower sprayer arrived without any necessary connection parts. I attempted to reach Lisa multiple times; however, my calls went unanswered--a clear indication of the lack of accountability at this establishment. In an effort to reach out to customer service, I spent hours trying to connect with someone, only to discover that the customer service team was located far from Buckhead and could not assist me directly. It is impossible to reconnect with your sales person once you leave the Buckhead office. After two weeks of chasing, I decided to return to the store in person. To my dismay, the experience only deteriorated. The plastic packaging on the items looked cheap, and I experienced further delays with the arrival of the connection parts. When I finally spoke with Lisa about my order via voice mails, she claimed she couldn't meet with me at the times I needed, yet I found her sitting at her desk when I arrived to which she immediately got up to help given I was in purchase mode. By the following Wednesday, the missing items did arrive, but after eight frustrating hours spent in the store over two visits, I still had no concrete information regarding the delivery and installation of the oven and dishwasher. On April 17, I had heard nothing. After a series of ignored emails and calls, the manager, Patrick, contacted me on April 14th to inform me of a mistake on their part and promised to provide installation updates by Tuesday the 15th. Of course, that was another missed commitment. When I could finally speak to Lisa again, she directed me to call her cell. However, I called multiple times throughout the day and received no response for four days. This ongoing lack of communication is unacceptable. Every time I reached out to customer service, I was told they could not assist without an order number--far from a customer-friendly approach. Plus the number of times they were saying they would call back was unbelievable and clearly they did not return even the Manager Patrick. In my frustration, I mentioned that I was considering canceling my order due to the lack of updates. Patrick assured me that he was working on the issue and would resolve it, yet nothing changed. The subsequent lack of follow-up and promised callbacks left me feeling disregarded as a customer. Ultimately, I decided to cancel my order entirely after four weeks of dealing with just finding the order. Upon contacting my credit card company, I discovered that, interestingly, Ferguson had already processed the cancellation within the hour. Bryson told me he could not find my order when he was told to cancel another missed opportunity for engagement and resolution even to cancel. After speaking with Lisa and CS representatives who attempted to justify their lack of communication, it was evident that their apologies were nothing but shallow platitudes. In contrast, my experience with Distinct Appliances on CHeshire Bridge (small local owned and great CS) has been a refreshing departure from the dismal service provided by Ferguson. Tiffany, their representative, not only provided exceptional customer service but also ensured timely communication. They waived the fee for my high-rise condo installation due to my total spending. I went with Wolf, SubZero and Miele for D/W. I strongly advise anyone considering Ferguson for appliance purchases to seriously evaluate their decision. The customer service is poor, the sales staff often non-responsive, and their commitment to fulfilling orders--along with customer satisfaction--is disheartening. Skip Ferguson and choose a company like Distinct Appliances that truly values its customers and delivers on its promises. Consider this a fair warning--take your business elsewhere. read more

Absolutely horrendous customer service! As other reviews say, things were fine when we picked out our supplies. After that - forget it. I tried to make a small change, switching some gold fixtures for identical ones in chrome. They ignored repeated calls and emails from me, my project manager, and our contractor asking if and when this would happen. I was told by one employee "yeah, the showroom consultants won't return phone calls." Eventually someone showed up and took some items while no one was there, but didn't leave a ticket letting us know what they did. The project manager had to find the valves we needed elsewhere to keep our project on schedule. We're still trying to get a refund for the difference in price but they won't respond to repeated messages. I was told a supervisor would contact me - of course, it never happened. All in all, I can't even begin to add up all the time we've wasted trying to resolve this issue and, months later, we're still trying. Avoid doing business with this company! read more

If your looking for good customer service, communication and follow through this isn't the place to shop. I certainly understand COVID but thats not an excuse to not respond to email, phone calls or get back to your customers on backorders. They had out items in and gave it to another customer. Even with a delivery the deliver people rolled up weed in our drive way, smoked it prior to installing our items. Worst service and company to do any business with. I later read the reviews and had the same experience as Bryan and Jennifer. They take your money for the items you purchase, but they do not deliver on ANYTHING they make a commitment too. I wish I would have read the reviews first before we purchased any items and gone with another company that didn't have a pretty showroom but was committed to what they promised with excellent customer service. read more

Stay away! Overpriced, poor quality products and below average service. We knew we were paying more than we should but did it in order to get good service. Boy were we wrong. They delivered us a broken stove...they've been out 3 times in the first 4 months to fix this lemon and they refuse to stand by the product and replace it. I went to the showroom in Buckhead to purchase a bathtub and toilet. I was told since my project was not large, I did not need a design consultant. I could go to the showroom without an appointment. I found what I needed but they made it very difficult to purchase the items. You need an appointment to purchase the items. After waiting awhile in the showroom, I was able to make the purchase. I received the tub in a timely manner. The toilet was lost for about 21/2 weeks. I made multiple calls and was given multiple reasons why the toilet was not delivered. Most everyone in customer service was polite and tried to be helpful. I felt no one knew what they were talking about. I am planning to remodel a large bathroom. Will not be purchasing anything from there fir this bathroom. read more

I ordered fixtures for my bathroom renovation. After ordering in January 2021, I still have not received my tub filler. In August of 2021, Ferguson received it, but then lost it at the warehouse. It's now June, and I'm still waiting for it. I have to call and beg for updates. My showroom consultant, Lucas, does not respond to e-mail or phone messages. I reached out to Brue Wood, who's name is mentioned in all the Yelp responses, and didn't hear anything back, so I finally went to the showroom in December 2021, and Lucas promised to keep me updated. When I went back in May 2022, I found out he'd even moved showrooms to Alpharetta. I really thought I was dealing with a reputable company, but it is terrible. Please learn from me and go anywhere else. I have a kitchen renovation coming up, and I can tell you I will not be using Ferguson. I'm currently hold for the past hour trying to find out status and have been redirected twice - "because it's a Monday." read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Lexi, our sales person, was very responsive and easy to communicate with up until we placed our appliance order. After we placed the order and paid in full, she was completely AWOL. The appliance delivery date came and went with no communication from Ferguson. When we called multiple times to inquire about the delivery, nobody could find our order despite having a receipt with an order number and customer number. It is pure unadulterated incompetence at Ferguson. We are still waiting to find out when delivery can be rescheduled. During this whole ordeal, Lexi was unreachable and unresponsive. Had I known this would have been our experience, we would have ordered from a different supplier. The disdain Ferguson has shown to us as customers has turned me off from every purchasing again from them. read more

Product Knowledge and sales team were very helpful as first. Once I had paid for the products service was nonexistent. Had to follow up several times to track a valve that was all of a sudden on back order even though all parts were checked for availability prior to completing order. I was forced to manage the tracking of the missing part as Ferguson showed no interest. During installation my contractor found the valve to be defective and again no follow up without either myself of my contractor reaching out to the Sales Rep. Even after explaining that this defective valve was keeping the shower from being completed no effort was made to expedite the part. As usual, promises were made to forward tracking information as soon as it was available but of course that didn't happen until prompted with an follow up email. I will not use them for my upcoming Kitchen Remodel. read more

Ferguson does not stand behind their products. We bought a high end, expensive shower rain head from Ferguson and 4 years later the rubber tips are disintegrating and falling off. I called Ferguson to get their help on obtaining replacement tips and they refuse to help. If we can't get these tips, we have to spend another $1000 to replace this shower head. We are EXTREMELY Frustrated with the installation process on our $6800 PLUS Wolf Stove. We initially didn't make an appointment in Buckhead, and walked out after an hour of nobody helping us. Then when we did purchase, the installation has been botched. Twice, the wrong trim pieces have been ordered by Fergusons to be installed. So, for the third time, new pieces have been ordered to install into the marble as trim on both sides of our island downdraft Wolf Stove. The company that Ferguson uses to do the installation has been very patient and they were the ones who actually ordered the correct part on the third try to get those pieces installed. To be treated badly is one thing, to pay almost $7000 for a stove then have it botched stinks, and we will never purchase from Ferguson's again. Be forewarned, even if you plan to spend a lot of money, the customer service is not good. read more

I absolutely love Alex !!!! She has been the best ever !!! She guided us through the lighting and plumbing from pictures that I showed her on Pinterest and ran with it. Her demeanor had me hooked. She is calming and so relaxing at a time of stress and choices. We purchased everything from her .... not Ferguson ... she made the difference. My husband has a restoration business and we will send everything her way. She has taken so much care of us during and after the sale. This store has a decent selection, but atrocious customer service. We recently visited and were ready to purchase new sinks and faucets for two bathrooms, but left out of frustration with the snobby and unhelpful staff. Not a single person even acknowledged us or said hello. This was true despite the fact that we saw at least four employees--including the receptionist who was on Facebook the entire time (we could see her screen when we were walking the showroom). If you are going to spend the money to invest in high end bathroom and kitchen finishes-- I strongly recommend that you go elsewhere. Waterworks Designs has a much more helpful staff. I've tried multiple times over the years to give Ferguson my business, and each time I leave mad and saying "never again." I do not know how they stay in business being so inflexible and snotty. I called repeatedly seeking an appointment to come in and no one ever called me back. If you're not working with a designer, Ferguson doesn't want your business. Only open by appointment on Saturday. But how to get an appointment when they won't call you back and weekends are blocked on the online calendar? So I took a chance and dropped by and the woman at the desk was so rude. I had a print-out and a checkbook in my hand, anyone could see I was ready to buy. read more

We did a home remodel job and used Ferguson for the plumbing. We spent around 10K. We were told at install that one of the sinks we had ordered 2 months previously was unavailable. Also 2 of the high end faucets were defective after install and we had to pay another plumber to repair the install the replacement parts. We were not very pleased with their service and it doesn't matter how much money you spend. read more

My experience was with the Alpharetta, GA location. Firstly, I would like to say that Blane in Sales was wonderful to work with. She was the only positive in the whole situation. My grief was with Jonathan Cameron, the branch manager. We did a kitchen renovation with a problematic contractor. When the contractor created an issue with the install of my vent hood, he went around me and worked with Jonathan to replace the product that had been spec'd into the job with a lesser grade replacement. Jonathan purposely kept me out of the loop (even though I was literally and technically the customer - ordered the merchandise and paid Fergusons directly for a full kitchen package). He was very devious in the way that he dealt with me, and other employees covered up for him when I tried to report it to their corporate headquarters. They kept kicking the complaint back to the branch office. I ended up with a cheap vent insert even though I ordered a high end appliance package. I would definitely NOT recommend working with this branch. (Other contractors had told me that they would not deal with Ferguson's. Evidently, shady characters stick together.) read more

i was looking forward to giving Ferguson an honest, positive review from my first impression - sadly, that's all i got. at the ripe age of 17, i am used to the frequent mal treatment of me and my friends, but not being allowed in a store due to the slight chance that me and my almost adult friend may touch and break something, is definitely a first. as we entered the harsh, glass doors, i spoke first to the woman at the front desk, who glared at me as i walked in. i said "hi!". she nervously said "hey... um what brings you in?". we quickly knew we were not welcome in this establishment. after being told they don't let 'kids' in and interrogated with questions of who we were there with, she said, "uhh yeah i'm going to say no." though my friend and i are just under the legal adult age, we were not able to look at some lights and home furnishing, though we were planning on not even touching a thing, but rather getting the good vibes we were assuming the store would bring. if you're in the buckhead shopping area, i would not recommend coming to this terrible, rude establishment. instead, hit up home depot for your fixture needs. also while you're in buckhead, swing by billy reid! lovely items, as well as stellar workers, who care not about age, but about the full enjoyment of their customers. read more

The worst! Showroom is lovely but time to drain the swamp where staffing is concerned. Having just purchased a condo in a high-end building steps away from the Buckhead location, I popped in as my unit requires an entire kitchen package and bathroom mirrors that are not a standard sizing. My neighbors were thrilled with their experience at Ferguson's and recommended this location. My experience was quite the contrary. I was ready to make some decisions and purchases on the spot however when I inquired if a particular mirror I admired came in different sizes I was told; 'I don't know. The store closes in 20 mins.' I asked if there was someone else who might be able to help me. 'Check with the receptionist'. I did so and she too gave me the, 'I don't know'. Well that solved that, I left. Walked across the street to RH, placed an order for all of my mirrors with a knowledgeable and impeccable customer service representative. All my mirrors will be delivered and installed at end of week. Thank you RH for fabulous, easy service!
