My coworker brought me along with him to pick up his car and when my Lexus LS400 started having issues I brought it in. That was about a year ago and I have come to Moe for everything from oil changes to engine repairs since then. Very disappointed in the work performed and condition of car upon returning it…read more I had a serious issue with my cars computers not communicating with other modules on the car making the car not drivable. This was brought on by previous shop screwing it up. Do I brought the car here and explained what happened and they assured me they would find the problem and get it fixed. After car being there over a week I went up there to check on it. The mechanic told me he had not even looked at it yet. After being there a month they told me they could not fix it. So I picked the car up and got it back in much worse condition. The interior panels has been pulled and just left in the floor the new blower motor wires had been taken apart and left hanging. The mechanic and service manager were arguing and cussing in front of us. When we were trying to put things under the hood back in place to try to start the car the mechanic told us we had to leave the shop area now and they would push the car outside. They left the car at the edge of their parking lot entrance. Many interior panels left in the floor and several under the hood parts left in disarray. Car had to be towed home. I do not recommend anyone taking their car here for anything complicated. It's one thing to not be able to fix a car but after a month and getting the car back in much worse condition is bullshit.

Mom had been taking her grand marquis to them for few years for just the oil change service, these…read morecars are extremely reliable, had around 80k miles on it, after last oil change and after 2nd engine start check engine light came on and had a strange "rattle" under the car, took it back to progressive and explained that never had light on before, owner had codes cleared mom went home but next day light returns and owner tells her she just needs to drive it and it will go out. I am a retired mechanic of 70 yrs old but I still have my own tools and started finding problems after their service work, first the rattle - they had lifted her car on the rear catalytic converters and partially crushed the interior membranes on both sides of car, next problem - check engine light - scan revealed issue with EVAP system which the issue was found to be 2 wires inside a rear wiring harness way above fuel tank and not exposed to external damage were cleanly cut with dikes that had left tool imprints on the wire. After repairing what these people destroyed purposely and them deliberately causing repairs to be needed, I believe they're in business to cause cars to need repairs for their own benefit ie even other shops are aware of progressive auto care's practices and they've reported to customers to be warned. I can see why they're not involved with the BBB, folks these people are dangerous and give real mechanics a bad overview. Just think about it owner is protrayes himself as a true Christian man, truth be known is wolf in a sheep's clothing.

It's highly convenient, since they are right next door to where my parents live. I was anxious to get it worked on before the weekend, and it needed a tune-up anyway. and to my surprise, he told me he could get it done Friday afternoon if I could bring it in. He ran a diagnostic on my car to see what it needed, and then called me to let me know what my options were, and what it would cost. Afterward, he got to work, and within a couple of hours, it was all done. He even showed my father and I how to reset my "maintenance required" light on my car. I can dig that! I'm sure I will be back for my maintenance needs.
