I had been having several problems with the cooling system on my car (04 BMW 325i) and had taken my car to THREE different shops to get it diagnosed/fixed. Basically, the top hose would come aloose and coolant would splash all over my engine leaving me stranded. I had it replaced with an upper coolant hose from O'Reilly and it kept doing it. The first place said there was nothing wrong with the hose and it was the thermostat/water pump building up pressure, so I got those changed. Then it happened again and a second place said that there was nothing wrong with the hose, but it happened a third time. I took it to the Goodyear shop on Marsh (near Trinity Mills) and Mark, a seemingly decent guy, said that it might be the thermostat housing gasket, but to take it to Moe at M&M and ask him. I pushed the hose back in and it happened again, so I had it towed to M&M. (Thank GOD for AAA!) I told him what was happening, he took the hose off and showed me WHY it kept coming aloose. I could see the clip on this universal hose was not properly clipped. So, yes (to all of the other shops) it was the hose. He got an OEM hose and put it on my car, filled it up with coolant, cleaned the area he was working on (brownie points in my book because not one of the other shops did that) and even test drove it (again, not one of the other shops did that). It has been running smoothly ever since... So because of the first positive experience, I decided to take it to him about a vacuum leak (my SES light had been on for a good year or so for a vacuum leak and dirty O2 sensors). He fixed it for cheap and my SES light was off long enough for me to pass the emissions inspection (YAY!). So - long story long, Moe is my new mechanic and I plan to send any business I can think of his way. He's been nothing but fair and honest with me in his prices and in his work. This site says that the shop specializes in Mercedes but why not get high class service on your american made muscle. I love my Mustang but I am on a budget so when my Rack and-pinion went out I shopped around. I called two other places not including the dealer and with used parts these places wanted to charge me over $200 more for the parts and labor. Moe found me new parts and still saved me a ton on quality work. I have waited a month to do this review because I wanted to make sure the work was solid and I am very pleased with the job. This is a quiet yet a very honest guy who will give you a fair price. He had his employee take me back to work and he finsihed the job a few hours later. This guy knows what he is doing. Ihave been going to Moe with all of my car issues for the past two years. A coworker recommended him to me and it was the best suggestion he ever made! Moe has always been honest, timely, and very affordable. He even provided a list of what was wrong with one of our vehicles and instead of trying to get the work out of me, he suggested that I get rid of the car. He totally could have ripped me off but didn't. He always has time to give suggestions over the phone too. I even called him while in the car lot of a dealer and he gave me very sound advice that led to me not purchasing a car that he would have to see anytime soon. This guy is a keeper! P.S. I was so impressed by the service at M and M Auto that I felt I needed to write a review. After getting a quote from another place in town that was lower than M and M's quote, Moe said he would match it but also check before doing any work that it really needed to be done and that I was not being scammed by the other place. I really appreciated the honesty. Also, I got in right away, the work was done quickly, and I was given a ride to and from my house so I did not have to wait three hours in the office.
