We've had this HVAC company take care of system a couple of times, and they've always been dependable, honest, and professional. They show up when they say they will, explain everything clearly, and never try to upsell services we don't need. The technicians are knowledgeable, friendly, and take pride in their work. It's hard to find a company you can truly trust, but this is definitely one of them. When they were at my house they took their time to make sure they ran a whole diagnostics of my system, they provided me with a full report of the diagnosis and explained fully what was going on with it. We are really happy with this company and thought their price was fair. read more

We had a great HVAC tech at a different company, but he left and then management started sending trainees... which was no bueno. so I was on-the-market for a new service firm. I did a search on Mitsubishi's page looking for the top-rated service folks and Absolute Best Air popped up, and hoo boy am I glad they did. Not only did Daniel come out and fix our issue immediately, he was able to give us advice on our other systems as well. And today, Mason came out to service a verrrry told American Standard installation and did a great job troubleshooting and was very nice/professional. In Atlanta, where it gets above, oh I dunno, like 1,000º F on any given summer day it's important to have good HVAC techs on speed-dial. this company is the one to call. I'm now on a monthly service plan and our requests are prioritized and discounted. so glad I found them! read more

The worst company ever!!! Since July 5, 2023, they have made multiple appointments to come out & fix my AC. Each time they claimed something else was wrong. Today they were suppose to come out (Jasmine I spoke to yesterday), no one showed up or even called!! Each time I speak to someone they say something different. The communication is horrible. This company clearly needs new employees! The worst customer service ever!!!!! I wish I could give them a 0!!! read more

Best HVAC experience we've had in 30 years…read more Our upstairs unit stopped cooling and we called another local HVAC company out to look at it. Took their tech just 10 minutes to tell us we were low on freon due to a bad coil and we were looking at $3500 to replace. Guy never used a leak detector he just knew the leak was in the coil. I wanted a 2nd opinion before spending that kind of money so I called J&R based on their 5 star Yelp rating and the things people were saying in their reviews. Joe showed up, immediately took the unit apart, and spent over an hour using a leak detector to try to locate the coolant leak. Couldn't find a leak. He ended up leaving the system pressurized with nitrogen over a weekend only to come back on Monday and find no pressure loss. No leak - no bad coil. The issue was the other guys (who've serviced our units for 2 yrs) had left the valve caps loose on the exterior unit. Joe's diligence and honesty saved us a lot of money and earned him a customer for life. Its really rare nowadays to find someone with this kind of ethics. Joe's a likeable guy, explains what he's doing and why, and isn't out there trying to run up the tab on the repair. You sometimes hear companies saying they'll treat you like family. Joe never said that and its not on their website or their marketing material but that's definitely how I felt I was treated - like family.

They explained the process and answered any questions. Then they proceeded through the house, connecting the large vacuum hose via the furnace and using a compressed air hose to blow off the dirt and dust for removal. The final phase was the additional dryer vent clean-out. This was complicated slightly due to the piping layout in our walls, but they managed it. I thought the pricing was in line with other companies. They had positive reviews online, and from our experience we would hire them again.

When I looked at the estimate, it states a rain pan would cost at least 1500.00. Then there is ANOTHER fee for 189 that discusses cleaning and inspection. When I called they told me the 189 I paid was only for inspection, not cleaning even though the 2nd fee on my estimate states inspection AND cleaning. They then said the 189 that I zelled them (clearly because they have swindled people in the past and they know zelle is impossible to dispute) could only be applied to the rain pan and nothing else. So basically, I thought I paid them 189.00 (which the average cost is about 100 btw) to inspect and clean my chimney, but really it was for a person to spend 5 min looking and my chimney and fly a drone over my chimney. It is my fault for not doing my homework that I was taken advantage of at Christmas time, but fool me once.....
