Absolutely the worst. Honeycutt prescribed me the wrong thing and it ruined my skin -- she tried to blame her assistant. Now they won't do anything about the damage they've caused to my skin, they won't even refund my money for the prescription that did this or the copays for the follow up appointments to fix THEIR mistake. They also overcharged me for my appointments. Also -- the woman at the front desk has no sense of privacy, she asked me loudly about my skin issue in front of a waiting room full of people -- and the next time I came in she was loudly talking about how she wanted to beat her child for calling her dude. I've been going to Dr. Honeycutt for probably 4 years. She's a great doctor...knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and great at putting patients at ease. I'm always seen on time and I'm usually done quicker than expected. The office staff is friendly and professional. Very unprofessional, chaotic and overall worst visit i've ever had. if you want a good dermatologist go literally anywhere but here! i've been to some amazing places in other states and needed to see someone while i was here. They made me feel sooo uncomfortable and didn't have any facts straight. The appointment lasted less than 5 minutes. She looked at my problem areas for a brief second and threw products at me. Dr Honeycutt never spends more than 3 minutes actually looking at my skin, always asks me what we've done in the past rather than actually looking at my chart, and is more interested in pushing the med spa treatments (which i've found to be only slightly helpful) which are overpriced. She only writes scripts for 3 months at a time, requiring a followup visit where all she does is push the med spa. Told me i have the worst case of rosacea she's ever seen, and recommended IPL. After being pushed several times to get the procedure, i finally had it done. $1500 later, not much difference in my skin. After the IPL, when i still had horrible redness from the veins in my face, she recommended another procedure (capillary destruction). When i booked that procedure and came in, she wanted to know why i was having that procedure rather than the IPL! Um, hello! Can anyone recommend a dermatologist that actually pays attention? read more

I do not appreciate the unconstructive reviews regarding Dr. Honeycutt. My whole family sees Dr. Honeycutt for all dermatology related issues. She is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to skin care and treatments. For the person that stated that Dr. Honeycutt has no bedside manners, I dispute this person's statement, Dr. Honeycutt is candid and direct, she does not sugar coat her conversation, in order for you to be accepting of her. If you are use to attending a Physician whose intentions and conversations regarding your diagnoses always seem to be positive or pleasant, although in fact it will result in something unpleasant or unacceptable, then Dr. Honeycutt is not for you. Having said that, Dr. Honeycutt, will discuss your skin issues with you in detail and in addition, she will take her time examining your options and treatment. Dr. Honeycutt is passionate about what she does and treats her patients with the outmost respect and compassion. She is not about selling any type of products in order to make a profit. Dr. Honeycutt is all about taking care and maintains your skin healthy. I had terrible dark spots on my face and I have tried several products. Last month I decided to try Foto Facial, after just one treatment, my dark spots have almost disappeared. I am a big fan of Dr. Honeycutt as well as her staff. I know some of the reviews on here are a few years old, but I have been seeing Dr. Honeycutt for a year and have not had any of these problems. The office staff is great, I have had no issues with billings, and have had 2 different insurances while seeing her. Dr. Honeycutt has never told me I have needed chemical peels or anything to do with the Spa. In fact she has told me to stay away from chemical peels. I am 36, with decent skin but with mild acne and roscea. I am not a rich person or a fancy women, I am a SAHM, like some people stated you have to be to get treated well. In fact Dr. Honeycutt is not that type of women either. She is very down to earth and has worked hard to help me with my acne. She will agree with anything you want to do or don't want to do. I've been going to the Medi-Spa for almost 4 years for laser hair removal and microderm/micropeels. I cannot stress how much I love Wendy (the esthetician), and the products recommended. Wendy really puts me at ease when I come in for my procedures and is *extremely* personable. To be blunt, Wendy knows her shit, and their annual spa party specials are always an incredible deal as well as their e-mail only specials. I've never seen Dr. Honeycutt as a patient, but she does occasionally pop her head in when I'm having treatments. I love her demeanor and am looking forward to seeing her as a patient. The wait time is usually no more than 10 minutes for either the spa or the doctor, and the receptionists are very engaging while you wait. All in all, I am extremely impressed with the care and service I receive and recommend Absolute Dermatology and Medi-Spa to everyone I know. read more

I bought the i Lipo package this summer through the Medi-Spa and am so happy with the results! Nicole Johnson, the esthetician is very helpful and honest about what is needed to get results. I definitely recommend the 8 treatment i lipo special. After 5 treatments I was able to see so much results, so I am thankful I did not purchase the package of 4. I got the i lipo on my lower stomach because no matter how much I worked out or dieted I could not get my stomach flat enough. The i lipo targeted the exact area i wanted without any type of surgery and was way cheaper than surgery. You must follow the routine of working out after each treatment and drinking LOTS of water the day of. I was so excited to see the transformation on my stomach exactly where I needed the help! Why wait or feel self conscious about your stomach when there is stuff like i Lipo out there, I wish I would not have waited this long. Thanks again for taking such good care of me! read more

Unfortunately the paper work had a clause in it that there would be a fee on top of the facial and consultation. They took us for an extra $130 When we contested it was said that this would then go on our credit. They literally did NOTHING but the facial. I just had a great experience at absolute dermatology! My appointment was at 1:40 and they arrive an hour early because my other appointment ended earlier than I thought it would. Even though I was a new patient they let me fill out my paperwork gave me make up wipes to wipe off my make up and even showed me around the facility to make me more comfortable. The nurse was very nice and took all of my information down and there's a lot when you're really sick like me. The doctor had a great plan set up to help me with my skin problems and I think that together we're going to make a great team and we are really going to start seeing some progress on my skin. The front desk was welcoming and kind, the wait did go over 10 minutes which I didn't mind and the consult with the nurse was really quick and she didn't take notes or anything, which was a little weird but I loved Dr.Honeycutt and the front. Dr. Honeycutt has been my dermatologist for 20 years. I started seeing her when I was pregnant and she treated my facial acne then. After my Mom, Grandmother, Aunt and Spouse all started seeing her for annual skin cancer screenings. My Son was treated there for teen acne. I continue to see her for annual cancer screening and aging skin issues. I have always been pleased with my care and Dr. Honeycutt is wonderful to help with skincare cost. I needed to see a dermatologist for a spot I was concerned about... I made the mistake of looking for a place near me rather than getting a referral. I saw Dr. Honeycutt after waiting for nearly 45 minutes. She looks at my face for one second and then she casually utters, "Well it could be scar tissue or it could be cancer, do you really want a hole there where I'd biopsy it or should you just leave it alone? I'd leave it alone. However, what you really need is some botox for those expressive wrinkles and maybe a chemical peel." ....... Then she proceeds to advise that I find a plastic surgeon who can suck the fat out from under my eyes where there are "bags." I pointed to my 4 month old son and add, "I just had a baby of course there are bags." That's all I could think to say, I was still fumbling over the words "cancer," "botox" and "chemical peel" in my head. Now those of you that know me well are probably wondering why I couldn't give this lady a tongue lashing. I had no words for her - I was in shock that a medical professional was feeding me this BS. Seriously, folks. You can't make this crap up. Even after she told me how great botox is, and that its sooo addicting, one look at her "results" and I happily passed. Thanks lady. But no thanks. Those "wrinkles" are from years of laughter and even some tears, and I wouldn't change them for anything. Edit: I think it is important to note that I had indicated on my medical history form that I was struggling with post partum anxiety. For a doctor to disregard that and attempt to take advantage of a new mother's emotional state was simply deplorable. Since then, I have recieved messages asking me to delete this review and I will not. If you want better ratings you should treat patients with compassion, like human beings and not dollar signs. read more

If you value your money and want to be treated respectfully I wouldn't go to this place. The Practice manager, in addition to being extremely rude, has some questionable billing practices. On the first visit they demanded payment in full because I hadn't met our deductible. Then they started sending statements for additional fees owed. The condition we were treated for never healed and when we went back for the 4 week later we didn't pay which we didn't expect to. Then they started sending us past due notices for the full office visit amount for the 2nd visit. They even resorted to calling my teenage daughter asking for payment and threatening to send to collections. So we paid an additional $150 for a full office visit. At the third and final visit we discovered that they didn't even file the first claim with the insurance so we didn't get credit towards our deductible. The same rude Practice Manager tried to tell us we didn't give her our insurance information. This is a complete fabrication because that's what caused her to demand payment in full in the first place since she knew we hadn't met our deductible. We told them we would not pay until we talked to our insurance provider. We left with this lady yelling at us in front of our kids and other customers that we needed to pay. read more

I had a appointment on April 19,2021. The doctor was fine and my issue was resolved however the office staff lacks in the service area. When I checked out I was told my cost was $217.44 in which I questioned since my insurance only requires a $25.00 co-pay. I was told they called and that my insurance said it wasn't covered. I paid the fee and was then told they "didn't have the time to print me my receipt so it would be emailed the next day" Next day came and gone. I had to call multiple times and finally on May 3,2021 they emailed my receipt. Then on May 12,2021 I received my explanation of benefits from my insurance. A claim was filed and paid. My amount due is $25.00. I am still trying to get my refund. I have left numerous messages with the office manager as she does not answer her phone and have never received a response. I have now resorted to emailing with copies of my receipts. I have worked in a field which deals in working with customers daily for over 30 years. My employer would be livid if they found out their staff treated their customers this way. read more

I have honestly NEVER written a bad review but today I was cheated and scammed. I was so excited for my LED facial Rejuvenation treatment I bought on Groupon but upon my arrival they told me the treatment was only for acne. LED treatment does a lot more than that. "Research has shown that LED Light Therapy may help to smooth skin texture, improve skin firmness and resilience, increase the lymphatic system activity, restore skin's natural cellular activity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and superficial hyperpigmentation" -This is from their website. Yet, I got talked into seeing the dermatologist. Never was I told about a consultation fee. Basically I ended up paying $140 (oh I'm sorry, correction $110 because they gave me a $30 groupon credit) just to drive up there and get nothing done!! No facial, nothing. She barely looked at my face! Not to mention the staff always grim and unwelcoming. read more

It was abundantly obvious during my visit to Dr. Honeycutt's office that since I was only there for a skin assessment, I was wasting everyone's time. I have an advanced degrees in biochemistry and I've been living in my body for several decades, so it's safe to say I knew what my options were and had it narrowed down to two. Not only did Dr. Honeycutt LAUGH in my face when I asked her about a specific treatment ("Come see me in a few years when you have some wrinkles"), she wouldn't even entertain a conversation about my concerns regarding an antibiotic she wanted to prescribe me (which were both medical and scientific--over-prescribing antibiotics is the #1 reason several bacteria have developed antibiotic resistance). She was in the office for less than two minutes (she made her recommendation after looking at my skin for 10 seconds), saying I had some redness that needed to be addressed (I had just taken my makeup off, which I reiterated, but she insisted that was my main issue). I repeatedly asked her assistant if she could return so I could discuss the regimen she recommended, but her assistant insisted she could answer my questions in Dr. Honeycutt's absence (she didn't). The visit was about $85, and a few days later, I got a call from the service Dr. Honeycutt's office uses to deliver prescriptions -- what she had prescribed was over $300! I called her office again and asked her to call one of the prescriptions into my preferred pharmacy, insisting that it was cheaper there and I didn't want to use the service they recommended. They not only refused to do this, they had the delivery service call me again, reminding me that the script was available for delivery. I've never felt so disregarded at a doctor's office, and frankly, I'd give her zero stars if I could. My guess is the people the quality of service she gives depends exclusively on how much the person she is seeing is paying to be there. read more

She conducted a thorough check up and subsequently concluded the lesion should be removed - and did so during that visit. The treatment you receive from other staff, Dr. Honeycutt, included is not going to leave you with any kind of warm and fuzzy. I've had a massage here as well- eh. I wasn't overwhelmed with that 'massage glow'. You know- that happy spot where you get in your car get cut off but you don't give a damn b/c you're so relaxed? Yeah, you probably aren't going to find that happy spot here. In fact, the overall office feeling is kind of pretentious and full of tension. You need to be "that woman" to fit into their business model to be welcome here- and, I was "that woman". oh snap! Spend your $$ elsewhere unless you can get Ms. Parks. Wowsas! I find Dr. Honeycutt to be extremely knowledgeable and very personable. She tries to keep the tone light all the while being very concerned about what is going on with my skin. She can look at my skin for a few moments and know exactly what's going on and how to treat it effectively. I do one treatment in the spa every six months which she recommended AFTER I asked what else I could do to improve my skin. Neither Dr. Honeycutt or her staff have ever pushed spa services or cosmetics at me. The staff are all kind and welcoming and the nurse in the medispa is very knowledgeable as well. I am very happy with ADMS. I bring my daughters as well as myself to Dr. Honeycutt and she has helped all of us immensely. I have called in so many times- each time, the staff was courteous, patient, and kind in answering all of my questions thoroughly. In choosing a place for a procedure I was nervous about, I was careful in my research and was apprehensive due to the reviews in which I was reading about past experiences. The customer service shown from ALL I spoke with was exceptional and everyone there is extremely knowledgeable.
