You are just another number and they could care less. Unfortunately, I was already en route to the appointment when they noticed the issue with my insurance and had taken the morning off from work. Since I booked so far out, I was very frustrated that they did not notice this issue until less than an hour before the appointment. The receptionist assured me that they had already contacted my primary to start the referral process and specifically stated that they had reached out several days ago, however, when I contacted my primary doctor they let me know they had not received any communication from this practice regarding a referral. Someone from Tru-Skin also emailed me about a week and a half after my initial appointment was cancelled to ask me for the name and contact information for my primary so that they could reach out for a referral. I had originally rescheduled my initial new patient appointment, but I called to cancel after so many things were mismanaged and incorrect information was given to me several times regarding our roles in the referral process. When I called to cancel, the automatic phone system said that I could stay on the line after the call to complete a survey, however, after the receptionist ended the call there was no survey provided, so I had to come to Yelp to share my negative experience.
