Juan and Rafael came out to my home to clean my air ducts and chimney. Both gentlemen were very respectful and professional. They made sure to cover my floors and furniture with protective covering, and explained the whole cleaning process (which I really appreciated). They even showed me before and after photos too. These guys are great!! I sent a message via Yelp and they got back to me right away even though it was a weekend. They are great with communication regarding the appointment. The guy who came was very courteous and friendly. I had a crack in the fire box and he was very clean when caulking it. Rain was coming into the chimney. He went up on the roof, took pictures and talked to me about what could be done. Because he thought maybe wind was driving rain in through the side openings, he switched the fire arrester 90 degrees. Wouldn't you know it, it rained two days later and no leaking!!! I was especially happy because another company told me I had to replace the whole thing and all it took was some thinking out of the box! And the price was very affordable. Took advantage of a "well known" national lumber/hardware "depot-type" chain store promotion for a $19.95 A/C duct inspection. While the service tech was very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable, his quotes for service were, to say the least, completely off-the wall (try $3700+ for a duct cleaning/electrostatic filter). We were concerned with potential mold, he showed us picture of (what was allegedly) our evaporator coil with some "black residue" on it, indicating possible mold. As I found out later, he either didn't notice or never mentioned that one of our ducts was completely disconnected (see later in this review)- so much for the inspection. In addition, he said we were 5-6 lbs low on Freon, wanted $2000+ to re-mediate compressor issues (like $400 to replace a $50 motor-start/run capacitor). Called a friend who deals in HVAC, basically the test that the original tech did at best suspicious (the test would not be able to tell if freon was low), so much for that analysis. Besides, to date we've had no issues (low heat, frosting, whatever) with the compressor. Started looking for alternatives, found Absolute via Google. Wife called Cristina and was VERY IMPRESSED with her knowledge and professionalism. Joe called later, told him our (potential) problem, he gave us a quote (including a video inspection of the ducts as well as a cleaning) which was..err..about 10% of the previous tech (quote is based on # of vents after a minimum of 6, video inspection was included in Absolute's quote- video was NOT included in the original $3700 quote). Made an appointment for the following week. Joe and Andrew showed up on schedule (and called 45 minutes before arrival). Asked if they needed to wear shoe protectors (we said no). Told us exactly what would be done and documented. Gently covered all areas (piano, couch, dressers, etc.) with plastic, removing anything with a potential of breaking. Inspected the vents with video camera (we have the pictures) and immediately discovered the open duct. Fixed it AT NO CHARGE before the cleaning. FYI our 30-year old never-been-cleaned ducts were very clean, no mold in sight, just some dust. Inspection of the air handler in the attic again showed some dust, some rust on the coil area (normal), and NO MOLD. The air handler fan and coils were cleaned (coil with non-toxic all-natural foaming cleaner), pictures taken before and after. Vents were accessed and "sucked out" with a vacuum apparatus. Return duct filter inspected, was new so not replaced. Joe also inspected our dryer vent AT NO CHARGE, no issues. Inquired about an electrostatic filter (do your research before getting one of these... lots of options - powered or not, installation area, etc.) - if you use a HEPA type filter and replace 2x/year (at the beginning of the cooling and heating seasons), you're probably just as well off and the cash outlay is much less, or at least spread over time. The entire time they were here they were very respectful of our belongings, very friendly and Christian behavior from both. Explained everything in detail. Absolutely no "upsell" of any services. Vacuumed all areas near where they cleaned the vents, left the house just as they found it. This is a company that you want to use. Absolutely my highest recommendation. Don't be sucked in by big store, Groupon, Angie's List, etc. promotions. Sure, have them do the cheap inspection but then go to these guys, you won't be sorry. read more

We love the Winter season and the first thing we wanted to do is to have the fireplace going. However, we were unsure how long the fireplace has gone w/o usage so I felt very lucky to have found this business on Yelp. I first spoke to Christina and found out that this was a husband/wife company. She was so nice and so very accommodating, especially since it was a high peak season which was very busy for them. She was able to put me on schedule the following week, WEEKS EARLIER than other companies I had previously called. Joe arrived and was equally nice. I also felt that he was very honest with their services. He didn't try to upsell me on anything, answered all the questions I needed answering and was just overall a very professional man. He took photos of areas that we obviously cant see or may overlook and explained to me why he took them and also gave me advice as to how to proceed, whether we could wait it out or if it should be taken care of soon. First, I just have to say, they really should change their name to Absolutely AMAZING Duct and Chimney Cleaning! It was so easy to book an appointment with Rachel and her follow up over the past year to get me scheduled has been amazing. Joe and George, what can I say, top notch experts at what they do and they do everything with a touch of excellence. Both showed up as scheduled with a 2 hour window. My dryer has been pushing out particles because it wasn't sealed properly since we moved in, but not anymore. They made sure to seal it completely. I'm so excited to not have any more lint flying around with the back of the dryer hose secure now. They also cleaned all the gunk out of the fireplace which was really shocking to see how much stuff was lodged up in there. We had been having issues with our dryer venting out for months. I found this company based on Yelp reviews, and once again was not disappointed. They were there very quickly and helped solve my complicated problem (our vent was incorrectly covered on our roof which presented a fire and safety hazard). They referred a very good handyman who was able to fix the roof piece, then they came back out free of charge to finish the vent cleaning and we can finally use our dryer!
