I have the responsibility of letting them in the building and bringing them to the site of the problem. When they come and they are always courteous, on time and most importantly fix the issue! I wish I could call them for the many and I mean many problems I have with my AC, but after briefly speaking with the mechanics I was told they specialize only in commercial and not residential. I used Rapid for a new central AC install a few months back. Someone I know actually recommended them and the reviews seemed good, so what could go wrong right?. As I have 3 small children and the weather was getting hot I needed to act sooner than later. Rapid got back to me and was able to start work soon. Price seemed reasonable so I went ahead and gave them the job. The day of the install a guy named Malik and another fellow came. They worked pretty much all day to finish the job. Once they were done they told me the job was complete and to enjoy the AC. I took their word for it as I don't know anything about HVAC installation. BUT since that day, things took a turn for the worst! A week after the initial job I noticed water marks on my bathroom ceiling. I knew it had to be the AC because my unit is located on my 2nd floor attic. I called them up and Malik showed up the next day to take a look. He immediately told me he knew "what was wrong" and began to "fix it". He told me the drain was turned the wrong way and now its fixed. Ok, so basically he didn't do the job right the first time. Fine, all good. He left. I ended up fixing the ceiling up myself. Another week goes by and I notice that one of my upstair bedrooms wasn't cooling much. I went into the attic area where they installed and noticed a rip in one of the duct work. It wasn't like that before until they had been up there installing the unit. It had to have happened from them either laying on it or stepping on it. So I called Malik up, he came by a few days later and taped up the ripped area of the duct. Another week or two goes by and I again notice water marks on my living room ceiling this time. And for some reason the AC installation did not come to mind, as they were here multiple times since the first leak. I called my plumber to come and check to see if it was leak from the upstairs bathroom. The day he came to check, part of the ceiling collapsed onto the floor dropping sheet rock and water onto my living room floor. THANK GOD my kids were not home at the time. Immediately we both go upstairs and he confirms that it was in fact coming from the AC unit. I immediately call Corey (the owner) infuriated to tell him what his company has done to my house and to come right away. He comes with one of the initial workers that was at my house. He blamed a clogged drain for the problem, while there was never any issue of leaks or clogs prior to them coming to my house. They never put a drip pain under the unit which is standard. Even if there was a "clogged drain" that is something they should have addressed and fixed the first day they were here, which they didn't do! From then it was a lot of back and forth with me and Corey. He came a couple days later with a drip pain and did some plumbing work. Ok, I assume all is good now what about my ceiling? He never came through on his word to get that repaired for me. I was sitting with a hole in my ceiling for over a week. He never sent anyone to fix it. Mind you, I DID NOT CAUSE MY CEILING TO COLLAPSE. The poor "work" of his guys caused that to happen. Malik was here to check the first leak, how come he didn't look around to see if there were any other issues or leaks? It's called unprofessional-ism and poor craftsmanship! In the end I paid money out of my own pocket to have my ceiling repaired. Because of them my children were exposed to potentially harmful odors, dust and particles from the open ceiling! I ABSOLUTELY REGRET using this company! PLEASE USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK! I do NOT want what happened to me and my family to happen to anyone else. As a final result, yes the AC is working fine and my family is not sweating to death. Corey ultimately fixed the problems, wish it was him who came to install in the first place. But it should have been installed right the FIRST time and not the FOURTH time! Goodluck!

He walked us through what the issue was and charged us $200 total (for the service and the part that needed to be replaced). It is SO difficult to find good repairman, so I jumped on here to write this review asap so others know that Allan is someone I would recommend! I had an issue with my AC blowing only hot air recently - I called a different AC repair company first who came out and charged me for a full freon replacement (which I may not have even needed) and then tried to get me to pay for a dye test which I turned down. Then a week later the unit stopped working again so they came back and then told me I needed to replace the whole unit. The whole thing seemed pretty untrustworthy so I got referred to Damian, who came out within a day and fixed the unit within a few minutes. Unbelievable how some companies out there will try and swindle you, but please do yourself a huge favor and avoid that risk by going to someone like Damian who is both an expert and very honest with you.
