I needed a mold inspection done on a property that was called by an appraiser. The inspection required a certified mold inspector to inspect a dark stain. I called this mold company for service and explained the concerned. They came out to do the inspection, gave me the report and I submit it to the lender. Well, the lender rejected the report because the inspector himself and the business could not be verified. The inspector was not certified to conduct a mold inspection and Leah failed to mentioned that the inspector's IICRC cert were expired before providing services. Yes, I still paid, but its a loss for us, next time I know to ask every business for a license/cert that they are providing. read more

I was first introduced to Absolute Mitigation Services at my sister's condo, following an upstairs leak above her bathroom. The damage was overwhelming, but Absolute Mitigation came in and very quickly transformed it back to a clean, livable bathroom, even better than it was before. The plaster work was flawless and they were also able to upgrade the old lighting to recessed lighting. I contacted Absolute Mitigation to see if they would be able to help me with a bathroom model at my house which is over 100 years old. This was my first major renovation project and I wasn't sure exactly what I was doing, what I wanted or how much of the work they wouldn't be able to do. Jaime, the owner, came over the next day and took measurements and asked me what I would like to do. I pretty much wanted the whole bathroom gutted and start from scratch. This bathroom was in addition in the 1950s and the ceiling was very low, The bathtub was pink and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get everything done within my budget. Once Jaime finished his measurements, he informed me that he would send me a quote and we could go from there. I have to mention that he was extremely professional, and super friendly. Within a few days I received a quote which explained every step of the process and every material needed , down the the toilet paper holder! He also included the labor cost and informed me that I could remove anything I needed. This was extremely helpful, especially being such a big project. I agreed to the contract and begin working with Jaime and his wife Leah who is also wonderful to work with. She is so sweet and together they are amazing. I made multiple, multiple changes throughout the process including moving the door, moving the vanity, changing out the bathtub for a shower and Jaime was so calm and patient the whole way. He informed me of every step of the process, any issues that needed to be addressed (again this is 170 old house). And what I love the most is Jaime's attention to detail and how meticulous he is. He worked on my bathroom like it was his own home, which is very rare to find. He was also able to match the original doors and molding in my house for the bathroom, which no one has any idea that it wasn't there before. The bathroom came out beautiful, within my budget, and I felt great knowing that it was done correctly. I honestly would never use anybody else for any of my future projects. Absolute MS is highly recommended. Had water coming through the ceiling from the 2nd story bathroom. Jaime came out right away to investigate and put together an estimate. He always took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which was appreciated. His bid was thoroughly detailed, and I'm confident he can create a mitigation plan to work with your budget. Leah in the office communicated really well, so they make a great team. Don't bother with the big companies. Service Master came out, but they never even followed up with a bid. They did a fantastic job at our home. They were very professional and considerate. They cover all our couches and furniture so nothing would get on them. They stopped between things to ask questions or to tell us what they were doing. They went out of their way to find the exact paint match for our walls since the color was no longer sold they tracked down the match and had it made. Then they cleaned everything up and explained everything they did. We were extremely pleased with the job done and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

This company did remediation work on our rental and they threw all of personal stuff in trash bags the mixed dirty dishes with clean clothes. They also threw a open bottle of oil in a bag that had food in it, they broke my wife candle warmer and mixed trash with dishes. They showed no care mine and my family's stuff. They also said they cleaned our couches and other personal stuff when did no such thing everything besides the stuff in that one room was never moved or even touched with a rag. Horrible place would never recommend these people. They left the house a mess and did not clean up after them selfs. They told the landlord they cleaned and took pictures but you can't even tell that they cleaned anything all they did was take everything off the counter and threw the stuff in bags. I wish I could give this company negative stars WORST PLACE EVER read more

The only reason I used this company was because it was required by my landlord. The company is an absolute joke. They broke 3 cabinets and my dishwasher. They didn't paint anything. So you can see exactly where they patched the ceiling and walls. The owner and his wife moved all my stuff so they could access the work locations. However, once the job was "completed" they left. My kitchen table was in my living room. My bathroom items in my bedroom. My cleaning supplies in my living room. This company is an absolute joke. He has no handyman skills. He removed my wall trim, washer machine, and cabinets to remove the mold behind. I was left with a dishwasher that is not installed, no hot water in the kitchen, three crocked cabinet doors, and a mess. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ANY WHERE BUT HERE! read more

I wish I could give Absolute Mitigation more than 5 stars!! My toilet overflowed while I had company. My entire master bath and bedroom was soaked. Jaime was out within 30 minutes and had his crew out within 60. The water was gone and dryers set-up before I could even dry my tears!! They did the BEST job and were absolute professionals! I will recommend them to anyone that will listen. Hopefully, you'll never need water damage specialists, but if you ever do, Absolute Mitigation Services is the way to go!!
