Dr Annie Matthew is an absolute gem. She is hands down the best doctor in Vegas. She is nice, patient, really cares how you feel, does not rush you, and takes time to listen to what you need or if there is anything wrong. I HIGHLY recommend her. She has 3 different locations and is always working very hard for her patients. Her staff as well as her offices are very clean. Everyone is very friendly. Made an appointment for 1:15. Right after their return from lunch- thinking it would be fairly quick. Or as quick as a doctor's office could be. Nope. When I asked the front desk 45 minutes later if I would be soon soon they assured me I was next. What I don't understand how is how walking are taken prior to appointments? Surely this is the only reason why so many others were seen before me and the wait was so long. Well, my inquiry must have been passed along to other staff. Once called by a tech to check vitals, her back was already turned when I stood up, no eye contact, no hello. I just followed her because I assumed that is what I should do. It was so awkward. Then she left me in a room for another hour. Evidently the other patients were "taking a long time in the rooms." I was in search of a new primary care physician, and I couldn't have picked a worse time!! It's right in the middle of another huge COVID 19 spike, plus all the cold, flu, and cruddy bugs going around that everyone seems to have. My normal go-to urgent care was completely full and unable to take me, so my search began! Luck may have it that I came across Absolute Primary Care Center, and to my surprise, they were able to get me in for an appointment the very next day! Already off to a great start! The first thing I noticed and loved about this place was the 'at-home feel.' I come from a small town back in Mississippi, and this is exactly what it felt like to go visit the local doctor's office and get that special treatment from someone you knew. The entire place was extremely 'homey,' and the staff were very friendly. My doctor was efficient and made sure to listen to everything I had to add regarding my needs. I LOVE DR. ANNIE!!!!!! I've been going to her for years and she's WONDERFUL!! I've only had 1 pediatrician and when I got old enough, Dr. Annie became my Doctor and has been my Doctor since!!! They always call me on time and leave voicemails if necessary. Even before my appointments they are checking on me back to back with calls and text to make sure I will be there. Doctor walked in with no smile on her face, tried to literally argue with me about how I was feeling & then just prescribed "Tylenol" for my headaches after her and I both agreed I have a concussion. She tells me "based off your insurance if you want to go get a full body scan that tells you exactly what's going on I don't think it'll be covered" How shameful and disrespectful.... I was the last appointment of the day and how sad is it that a new patient has to come waste $50 just to find another doctor again because of how horrible Dr. Hilary was being. I thought this facility was absolutely wonderful. I was very nervous finding a primary care provider in Nevada as I've heard a great deal of horror stories but this place really put my mind at ease. I'm a new patient and on top of the new patient paperwork I was still finished in under an hour. The woman who examined me was an NP I believe she said her name was Reba and she had the most wonderful bedside manner. I can be a bit of a hypochondriac but she really took a lot of time to address my concerns and listen to me and that was so deeply appreciated because in the past with other healthcare providers I have felt brushed aside. I was referred here by a friend of mines who's a veteran. At 1st I was so ecstatic about getting an appointment so fast. 1st 2 visits were with a P/A..I forgot her name. Visit after that was with whom I thought was the doctor..nope..another P.A. DR. A. Matthews. I feel like I wasted my time. I'm Disabled and going through my pending SSI/SSDI case. She can't fill out any paperwork due to not being a doctor? She sent on a wild goose chase referring me to others, whom she claimed could help., just to find out ...the referrals she sent me to don't fill out MEDICAL paperwork due to it being Medicaid. Wow!!! I called Absolute Primary care and they gave me the number to the Eastern location...left messages at both locations for 2 weeks, no one ever returned my calls. I am now homeless and have to start my process over ...and find a REAL DOCTOR. They wrote a prescription then withdrew it, causing problems at the pharmacy with my seizure meds. PROS: FAST APPOINTMENTS,even on Saturdays Friendly MEDICAL staff with concerning demeanors. Clean establishment. CONS: ONLY P.A's..so if you need something major, not happening. Won't return any calls... Lack of communications. Never told me, they never got all my specialist MEDICAL records, even though I signed a release form from them. Since I'm high risk..how can I trust this P.A to do no harm..harm has already been done. If you have health issues, I don't recommend. If your healthy and just doing yearly updates, this is for you. read more

Dr. Annie is amazing. It is so hard to find a good and truly caring doctor in Nevada but Dr. Annie certainly is one of the best doctors I've ever had. The entire staff is also super wonderful. I was in and out within 30 minutes on a new patient appointment and had plenty of time to talk with the doctor, that is unheard of these days. My experience with this clinic was bad from start to finish. My wait (with an appointment) was close to 3 hours; there also was not nearly enough parking or seating for the number of appointments they book at one time - I had to stand for awhile. The APRN I saw was knowledgeable and relatively friendly, but communication was awful. She directed me to provide a urine sample but gave me no instruction on what to do after giving the sample. I wandered around and eventually went back into the lobby where the receptionist informed me they don't test samples in house and I would have a prescription called in. The prescription was called in and the doctor attempted to call to tell me what was wrong but I missed the call. I attempted to call back several times and left a message and never received a call back to discuss results. They also require a BCBS insurance holders to pay $50 upfront regardless of what your copay/coinsurance cost is. They say they will issue a refund after about a month for whatever they owe you back. It took slightly over 4 months for me to get my refund back. read more

My review is solely regarding the front office staff. Each and every time I've called to schedule or get a refill they are rude and condescending. Today I spoke to an unprofessional woman by the name of Anna . I was advised to call back to confirm my insurance information had been corrected and had the most unpleasant experience. She mocked me, interrupted me, and displayed no empathy for the urgency of my medical care. When I expressed my disappointment with her service she said she would happily disconnect my call. This is not the experience anyone should have when working with a medical professional. I asked for her supervisor and was provided with the name of Gabby & a fictional phone number. I asked to speak with Dr Annie directly for she is whom originally answered the phone & she's always willing to provide excellent care. However, Anna denied my request. I am beyond livid! read more

if i could give no stars, i would. my husband and i just moved to vegas and were looking for a doctor, we decided to check this one out. a week ago, we got our blood tested and i got a call on friday saying they had my results for me and when i would like to come in to know them. i asked if they could just give my results through the phone and they said the next day saturday at 10:15 am so i agreed. i never got a call back and i actually called twice that day to ask when the dr would be available and they said 3:30. i never got a call that day. i received an email that same day from them trying to confirm an appointment for monday at 10:15 am ..again.. so i confirmed and they didn't call me so i called at 10:55 finally letting the receptionist know how annoyed i was and if dr. annie mathew wasn't going to call me that day then to just not call at all. she eneded up calling me at 11:25am only to tell me that my blood results came back normal. i asked her if she could just give my husband his results right then and there as well since he was next to me. so she agreed BUT since his results came out abnormal, he had to pay a $25 copay to know his results. i never knew a clinic could do that buuut ok? so he has high cholesterol and she said she was going to prescribe him medication for it and that he can pick it up at a walgreens near our home. so withing 2 hours, we went to walgreens and the prescription wasn't available so my husband called absolute primary care and they said the prescription would be available by 5pm, knowing that they haven't been living up to a good expectation, my husband went to walgreens at 9pm to go pick it up and they told him that the prescription was never put into the system. safe to say we will never be returning here and if your reading this, do not waste ur time on this place unless ur looking for a place to have ur time wasted. read more

I made an appointment for 10:00AM with Dr. Mathew and I was not taken back until about 12:00-12:30PM. When I finally put in a room I waited again for about 20 minutes. I ended up seeing a student doctor (I do not recall her name) she was very nice . We did a physical because I was a new patient and she wanted to do bloodwork due to my symptoms. She did not seem concerned and just advised I could go to quest or I could get blood work done there on another day because the phlebotomist is not there on Saturday. So I decided to take a day off work Friday when the doctor had mentioned the phlebotomist was in. I fasted for 12 hrs and came in for them to tell me the phlebotomist was not in that day. So I requested the form to go to quest because I really wanted to get this bloodwork done as soon as possible to figure out what was going on. The lady in the front stated she would email it over and I should receive it in about an hr. An hr goes by and I still had not received the form for quest, so I called them to see what was going on the lady on the phone was rude and stated she will send it over right away. I waited another hour and did not receive it, I did not get it until about 2.5 hrs after calling in. Which by that time I gave up on my fasting and decided to go another day. I get another day off work and go in the following week. The phlebotomist was on lunch by the time I went so I needed to wait an hour for them to come back. After their lunch I go back in and wait about 40 mins and then I was called back. The room that they do the blood work in is very small felt like I was in a closet. The phlebotomist was some what nice at first. He tired to get a vain in my arm and was unable to and asked if had been drinking enough water which I confirmed that I had drank plenty of water the night before and the morning of before coming in. He the stated he wanted to try again and went for my wrist for the second go, he sat there for a few minutes trying to find my vein he then found it and got up to get the needle and then sat back down and he lost the vein. He then freaked out and threw the needle on his desk which to me seem very unprofessional. He then tried to find the vein again which he ended up finding and was still unsuccessful at drawing blood. He then again preceded to ask if I had drank water which at this point was like his 5th time asking and I confirmed again that I did in fact drink water. He than gave up on my wrist and asked if I was okay with a 3rd try and at this point I just wanted to get this over with, this was the 2nd day I had taken off work to get this done. So I approved a 3rd try and he then tries my hand and was again unsuccessful at drawing blood. At this point I was completely over it and felt like this phlebotomist had no idea what he was doing and felt he was blaming me for his unsuccessful attempts. He than stated that I could either come back the next day or I could choose to go to a quest. After that I decided I no longer wanted to go to this doctors office. I ended up finding a new office to go to. When I got there I was met with instant concern for my symptoms. I needed to get an EKG done and absolute primary care did not even recommend even though my main concern was with my heart. I also went to a phlebotomist and she had no issue drawing blood, she was able to get it in one go and I drank just as much or less water than previously. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They also charged me more than my copay which should have been $35 but they charged me $65. read more

I have been searching for two years for a medical professional to successfully help me with my gout, after my doctor split town in 2018. I only saw him twice before he left. I was basically brushed aside when I tried to tell a few other physicians about my situation. Dr. Annie was VERY compassionate, concerned and thorough with her assessment. She actually LISTENED to me as I explained my plight, and wrote me the prescriptions that I so desperately have been searching for since 2018 (I'm currently uninsured). The price is right, the office is super clean, and the appointment was on time. I am so thankful to her and her FANTASTIC office staff for being so very professional and caring. This is what medicine should be about. I'm very fortunate to have found Dr. Annie and her amazing staff, and I now have a new Primary Care Physician! Thanks SO much, Dr. Annie!! read more

This place does not do FMLA forms at all! What licenced doctor has a "No FMLA" policy? They also say your $65 new patient fee is refundable, but it's not! The nurse practitioner is cold & rude. Staff is inconsistent and doesn't give you clear answers. It was just a Really awful experience, waste of time and money. read more

I had gone to the eastern location for a couple test as I am a nursing student and require these before continuing in college. I went there with an appointment at 10am and wasn't helped for over an hour while people coming in with 10:30 - 11am appointments were getting in before I was. I saw immediate red flags including cockroaches crawling around, I had wondered if I should even stay by then. When I was finally called to the back, I provided the document that needed to be filled out as well as a letter from my school giving directions to the doctor. I was then told they couldn't give me the testing that I needed after online it said they could. Then the doctor proceeded to tell me he wasn't going to do what I needed to have done and that I need to go to another location. Then again proceeded to tell me to go find my vaccinations and fill out the document myself, (on the document provided, my school says it is required that a doctor filled out everything on that paper and it'll be flagged as invalid if not) I was so confused with half of the stuff he was saying that I was astonished think that he would even say that. What kind of doctor telling me to do it myself. I won't ever be returning here and now I'll have to find another doctor that will actually preform the nursing physical I need. read more
