I was on the way to Durango on my motorcycle with some buddies and needed a tow from Del Norte. My insurance got me hooked up with them and I was given an eta. The driver that was supposed to pick me up was already out taking care of another tow job so I had to wait. I waited longer than expected due to issues with the original driver and got in contact with the company and they already had another guy en route to come get me. They were very apologetic about the wait and made it a point to make it up to me without even being asked to do so. They take a lot of pride in their company and even made it a point to speak to me in person halfway to the destination as they rechecked tbe load to make sure it was secure. It was a long day but i felt nothing but gratefulness for these people. The driver was very cool and the 2hour ride was pleasant. I totally recommend these guys and want to say thank you again.

When Colorado Towing finally showed up, a guy gets out of the truck, doesn't say hello, and begins our conversation by saying, "You parked in a terrible spot." Those were the first words out of his mouth. He then tells me that I need to push my car to the other end of the lot and that he can't help because he has a bad back. I called some friends who happened to be in town. None of us live in Alamosa. What would've happened if I didn't have anyone to help me? I suggested he maneuver his truck in such a way to avoid us having to push the car into a different spot. He scoffed and told me it wasn't possible. Two minutes after I called my friends, he gets out of his truck and tells me, "they're not paying me to wait." AND THEN HE DRIVES OFF. I kid you not, he got back in his truck and drove away, effectively stranding me 4 hours from home. How cowardly and unethical can a business be? Colorado Towing in Alamosa sets the bar pretty high.
