Took home a growler of the Fallen Archangel IPA but was a hard choice between that and the Highland Sinner oatmeal stout, Possessed Joe and surprisingly the John Bullington's bitter [a british gem!]. The tasting room and bar is on the smaller side but just enough for locals. When i was there, there was no food truck so was a little bummed but they have nice palate cleansing snacks. Kids and dogs welcomed! To make the kids and DDs feel less left out, they have their own rootbeer and cream soda! I was too bloated to try the soda but i'll be back soon. Went here for the first time last night, and the vibe was very lively even for a Wednesday night. They have a fairly large selection of beers in different styles, including a current seasonal pumpkin spice ale, but the IPA with Jack Daniels blend "AD|JD" was the big winner of the night for me. Great spot for the IPA lovers out there. The beertender was especially friendly and engaging; despite the rather large crowd, I was served right away and she made great recommendations. Just went there with my girlfriend and had a great experience. Both Nigel and Steve were very friendly. They both have fantastic stories. We tried the Hef, Belgian Ale and the Porter. All were great with the Belgian Ale being our favorite..had a hint of sourness which we liked. I asked why the beers has less carbonation and a somewhat "flatter" taste and they explained that it allows you to taste the flavors right away as opposed to after a few sips (usually you experience the carbonation first when you drink beer). In addition, it followed more of a UK style beer (less CO2). That made sense to me. I believe they have a few more beers coming out...I'll go back again for sure! read more

This place is everything that we love about breweries.... Great beer and friendly people. The owners are out and about answering questions and serving people. They also have a witty sense of humor, which we all appreciated! We tried everything they had available at this time and every single beer was unique and remarkable. I enjoyed the fallen angel myself and had a few glasses of that. It addition to opening new casks as the beer is ready, the company offers more. You can buy a growler, tee shirt and a few other neat items. The night we went they had a food truck available which is always a great way to break up a couple beers. I think some people do not understand the style they are brewing in is typically less carbonated. That, or they are so washed out by American Adjunct lagers that they do not know good beer when they taste it. These beers were all fresh, clean and not the least bit offensive. Me and my friends frequent all the local breweries in this area and I think it is great we finally have something a little different. I recommend that people check this place out... Tucked away in an industrial area where I used to ride my bicycle over 40 years ago... my how the world has changed! I love the vibe here and the beers were all incredible. Lots of good choices on the non-IPA side and a very nice root beer too. I'm not much of an IPA girl, but my hubby said those were amazing as well. Love the intriguing names of their beers as well. The Tribulation, The Midnight Mass, The Purgatory, and the Sinner... all great beers, all great names too. Loved the entire experience. You should high tail it over there and visit them! read more

Great experience in the tap/tasting room! Their Fallen Archangel IPA is killer. I love it. Their groupon deal is great. Our deal included 12 tasters (4 oz each), and they had 13 beers on tap, so we got to try pretty much everything. We ended up taking home a 60 oz. growler of the Fallen Archangel (part of the groupon deal). The bartenders were great, the ambience was great... will definitely be coming back! read more

My friend and I were there on a Saturday night. We used Groupon, and got a can of beer each because that was part of the deal. We asked if we can have those cans at the brewery, were told okay, started to drink. Suddenly another employee came to us and told us that we can't have those cans so we have to leave. We told her that we were told that it's okay to have those cans, but she kept saying that we just have to leave. She even threatened us saying that she can CALL POLICE so the police can explain the rule to us. We only had one beer each, we weren't drunk, and we were there only for about an hour. I was speechless. I am an asian woman, and bartenders here are always nicer when I am with my white husband, but not so nice when I am there with my friend. I doubt this kind of incident would happen to my husband. What a racist service. read more

Came here with to catch up with a high school friend. It's located in an office park and parking can be tricky since there are spot that you can't park. However you will find parking. The staff was super friendly and answered all kinds of questions we had. They had pretzels on the side but you have to ask them for it The beer list is on the wall and it lists abv, ibu and price by size. So super convenient to make a selection. Our favorite brewery ever! We come here almost every weekend as a family, child and dog included. Im not even a huge beer fan but their ales are really flavorful and when I'm lucky and they have their heffe, I leave happy! The game room has Netflix for when kids get bored. The owners are so nice and even make treats for dogs! All the bartenders are helpful and knowledgeable of beer. The place is in the middle of a commercial building area right past Torrance civic center. There's a decent seating area with a view of the brewing equipment. Who would have thought that Torrance would be the go to place for an amazing micro brewery. The folks here are serious Brewers. As I understand it all there ingredients are organic come from England and are the best ingredients. They wanted to create a local European Beer. We are so lucky to have these lovely libations in the SouthBay. Additionally they are not pasteurized and thus provide a wonderful alternative to popping a probiotic. TLDR: A laid-back tap room with mediocre beers. It opens earlier in the day than some of the other tap rooms in the area, and the staff are reasonably friendly. AMBIENCE: It's a tap room, so it's very chill. It wasn't too crazy because I was there around 1pm, so I got to chat with the bartender and get to know a little more about the brewery. DRESS CODE: Definitely a jeans and flip flops afternoon for me. BEER: The beers did not have a lot of depth of flavor; I'm glad this was the first stop on a beer crawl because the other places in the area really showed it up. There are a lot of beers on tap (maybe on the order of 20?), and I tried a flight of 6, including the nitro milk stout and some beers that the bartender recommended. The beers were fine but a bit lackluster. They had a couple of drunchie food options, but I didn't try any of them. SERVICE: I got a flight at the bar and made small talk with the bartender, who also was involved in the brewing process. He seemed somewhat knowledgable and friendly but wasn't terribly engaging. PARKING: It's located in an industrial area, so there is a shared parking lot. I followed signs through the parking lot to find the tap room. No problems finding parking on a Friday early afternoon. read more
