One of my favorite places to go in the South Bay! They have outdoor seating on Catalina Avenue, where you can dog and people watch. Also dog-friendly on the patio. Big menu with lots of vegetarian options. Their flatbreads are good. My favorite order is their Raspberry and Gorgonzola salad!

I've been going here for about 18 years and am always pleased. It's both a restaurant trans a sports bar and very active in the evenings. The upstairs features inside and patio dining, but up a flight of steps. We started with the very tasty Mediterranean Artichokes which came on a mixture of garbanzo beans, basil, olives, tomatoes, onions & capers. Not what I expected but still really good. I'd have it again in the future for its rich taste and excellent presentation. My main course was the Tuna Melt. While not anything special I was just right for only a medium appetite. My guest ordered the Ribeye Mushroom and loved. He said he wants to come back and order it again for its preparation, seasoning and great taste. I always recommend this restaurant and try to return whenever I'm in the area.

Totally underrated! Smoke smoked salmon flatbread was amazing!! Salads are wonderful!!! Greek tacos were delicious!! Great food and less expensive than other restaurants on Catalina Avenue. Really good happy hour as well.

A very busy local spot recommended by friends, who I ate with today. We were a party of seven with two kids. We all sat at a booth, it was a little tight but we all fit with a seat on the outside. I don' have kids so it was a while when the adults got their food. Because apparently the kids have to eat first (smiling). The food was good we started with nachos and fried/crispy brussels sprouts and then mostly sandwiches, and a protein salad with grilled beef that the mom had. All of the food was good, the service was good and the vibe was too. Its a sports bar mostly and a lot of local people come to watch and eat. Enjoy.

Food is always amazing here. The mud pie is an absolute must! It's made in house and sooooo good. The turkey sandwich was delicious! Fries are crispy and the ranch is delicious. Fish and chips were not greasy at all! Service was amazing and attentive. We sat outside because the weather was beautiful! They have umbrellas and heaters out there too.

Still great! We recently went and the apps seemed bigger in plate size and was delicious! The service continues to be great and of course if you sit upstairs you get a beautiful view!

Food was okay.. loco moco needed pepper and salt.. sriracha (off brand) helped. However the egg was overcook. Philly cheese steak - friend gave favorable reaction Mud pie was a win.. note waaay too much whipped cream in pic. Service is hit & miss. Our server who took our order was cool, but the lady that checked us out made my friend uncomfortable and judged.. made it awkward in the end.. (ooof) It was okay, not good or great.. very chill atmosphere pub layout with patio/outdoor seating and indoor high tables and booths

Came inside before they opened and their bartender was very kind enough to let us in for drinks and entered our orders right when their kitchen opened. They have a good selection of beer. Happy hour starts right when they open. Food was good for bar food. Staff was very friendly and quick with everything!

Came on a Sunday evening. Pretty chill! Not that busy here. Outside seating looked nice! We sat inside though since there was kind of a chill. We all got beers while two friends ordered pizza with salmon on it and some other salmon dish. They both loved their food! Our waitress was nice! Very easy going and patient. I let her choose my drink. I enjoyed the hazy beer I got! Great vibe here! Lots of TVs to watch the games. A good spot to hang with friends!

Food was so so. Service also was just ok. I felt rushed the entire time. I honestly don't feel like I need to visit again.

Would I say they have the best prime rib around? No. But it is pretty damn satisfying. When here, I always order the Franciscan cut Prime Rib cooked to medium (it's 3/4 pounds), house salad with ranch dressing, and steak fries. They throw in a loaf of sourdough bread with whipped butter. The prime rib is very tender and has plenty of fat. We all know fat equals flavor. The only thing I would change about it, and I keep forgetting to ask the server each time I'm here, is to have it served without the au jus already in the plate. Don't get me wrong. The au jus is fantastic, but when the prime rib is served in a pool of it, the meat becomes soggy. Served separately, I think the prime rib would be even better. In addition to the prime rib, the salad and steak fries are incredibly delicious. The salad is nothing fancy, but very tasty due to the ranch dressing it comes with. Wish I knew the recipe of the dressing. The steak fries pair perfectly with the prime rib. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only thing I would say is pretty average is the sourdough bread. Although it comes out warm, I don't get the sense that they're freshly baked. The service here is phenomenal. The servers are attentive, polite, and efficient. Can't ask for anything more from them. If you're looking for a trendy spot with contemporary decor and pretentious vibes, this place is not for you. This is an old school steakhouse with red upholstered booths and soft music playing in the background. If you live in the South Bay, and you're looking for a classic prime rib experience, this is a place you should check out.

When I first started coming here, the smallest cut was only $25, which felt like an incredible deal. Prices have gone up over the years, and it's now $37 for the smallest cut, but even with the increase, it's a place I continue to return to because the quality and experience have remained consistently good. I always order the prime rib medium rare with the soup and French fries. The prime rib is consistently delicious, flavorful, and tender, with a rich beefy flavor that really hits the spot. It's cooked just the way I like it, and every visit reminds me why I've been coming back for so many years. The portions are generous, and the meal is satisfying from start to finish. One of the things I appreciate most about this restaurant is its classic atmosphere. The interior feels like a step back in time, with an old-school charm that is becoming harder to find these days. It has the feel of a traditional steakhouse from the 1960s, and the nostalgic vibe adds a lot to the overall dining experience. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a good meal, and appreciate a piece of local history. There is a parking lot available, which is definitely a plus, although it can be surprisingly easy to miss if you're visiting for the first time. Just keep an eye out as you're approaching the restaurant. While I miss the days when the prime rib was only $25, I understand that prices have gone up everywhere. The fact that I've continued coming here for six years says a lot about how much I enjoy the food and atmosphere. If you've never been and you're a fan of prime rib, this is a spot that's well worth checking out at least once. Chances are you'll find yourself planning a return

The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

The meal also came with two personal-size carrot cakes, which we took home for the next day. Even sharing just one was more than enough. I was expecting it to be sweet since it's a combination of Sprite and strawberry puree. To my surprise, it only had a hint of sweetness. It seemed like they substituted Sprite for club soda or something. Finally, I should mention that my wife was not impressed with her Chicken Tortilla Soup. She pointed out that for the amount of ingredients the soup had, it tasted really bland. As far as the service, it was disappointing too. The service was really upbeat and friendly and our server was so kind and helpful.
