I recently had my first visit at Paragon Dentistry, specifically with Dr. Jason Hui, for a routine cleaning, and I'm very happy that I went to them. The hygienist, whose name I believe was Kathleen, was outstanding, and I made a point to make sure she'd be the one cleaning my teeth when I go back in six months. I didn't spend as much time with Dr. Hui because there was no need to, but he did a great job of explaining the examination and X-ray results and what I can expect on future visits. I'm very glad to have found this practice, definitely plan to go back, and certainly recommend them to others.

They had a hard time comprehending why I needed a doctor's note for my employer but I had patience and told them it was requested for me to take paid sick time. So, they send me another patients plan of estimate with their first name, last name, address, and how much their surgery is going to cost. They have sent me another patients information instead of sending me a simple doctors note. I called them back to let them know. They tell me to destroy it. They will send me the doctors note. It gets worse. 3.)I call the office today to pick up medicine prior to surgery. She says: " you pick up medication after surgery not before" so I arrive for my surgery, Im strapped up with tele monitors, oxygen in nose, blood pressure machine hooked and all of a sudden the doctor comes in: We can't do your surgery because of your blood pressure. The medication we prescribed would have helped. ... This is the same exact I office I called hours before to ask about medication. And Ashley told me I had none to pick up.... I spent $100 worth of groceries for wisdom teeth healing, took off a full day of work, my 76 year old Aunt drove an hour from her home to the doctors office to be my driver. When I asked how that could apply to an insured patient--since in-network providers are limited to insurance-allowed amounts--she clarified that was the cash price, not the insured price. I explained that we have insurance and even dual dental coverage. She then told me they only bill the primary insurance, expect patients to pay the balance up front, and require the patient to file the secondary insurance themselves. While this may be common with some private dental offices in DFW, that doesn't make it reasonable. National dental groups understand how to bill properly by submitting both insurance plans and only collecting what they reasonably expect the final patient balance to be. Dr. Prashant Reddy and his team did an outstanding job with my wisdom teeth extraction this week…read more They were very thorough in walking me through the procedure and getting me ready beforehand and made me feel very comfortable despite it being my first surgical experience. I was under IV sedation which made the surgery a lot less painful. In the following days they were very good about answering all my random questions and getting me in for follow-up appointments whenever I was worried about something or had a question. My friends had me pretty freaked out going into this, telling me how much it hurts and how long they were out of commission for. I don't think Dr. Reddy and team could possibly have done a better job in making sure this went smoothly. ALSO... I developed two dry sockets, probably due to my doing something stupid in the days following the procedure. The biggest warnings I got from people were about how much dry sockets hurt and how terrible they are. And yes, they suck. But when I called Dr. Reddy, they got me in IMMEDIATELY and looked everything over. He painlessly applied some medication to the sockets that alleviated the pain almost instantly: we were done within 5 minutes. I definitely recommend giving them a call to discuss your oral surgery needs.
