Once work started, we were told we needed a week or two for a part, and didn't hear back for a few months. When I finally called to follow up I had a very hard time getting answers. The receptionist told me numerous times she would get information for me and call back, but each time failed to give me a call back. When I finally got an appointment on the calendar, a few weeks after my call to follow up, no one showed up. It happened on 3 separate occasions, leaving me waiting for over 11 hours and no one ever showed up. On the day of the last appointment, instead of being apologetic, the receptionist got nasty with me. She acted as though I was bothering her, and told me someone would be there within the hour. No one showed, she never answered my calls again or called me back. I finally called Paul directly to see if anyone was on their way to my house. It was then he let me know they didn't even have the part and his office was supposed to call to let me know that. I understand things take time and that mistakes happen. My issue is not that we waited months for a part that never came, or that I sat around for 11+ hours when no one ever even planned on coming. My issue is that not only was the communication extremely poor and expectations were not correctly set numerous times, after all that I was given no real apology and an attitude as if I was the issue. I will never use this company again.

We initially called well-known heating and air conditioning competitor, who we used in the past, come over to diagnose the problem. They could not figure out the issue. Their solution was to put more return ducts in my house and put more vents into the attic. That did not solve anything but the problem did get worse and I had that other well-known hvac come on three separate occasions for the same problem. On the advice of of a good friend I called Paul from Area Fuel. I am not kidding, he diagnosed my problem within the first five minutes of seeing the ceiling. Believe it or not the duct was not properly connected to the specific vents in two of my upstairs bedrooms and in my living room. Of course this problem caused water to drip on my ceilings and inefficiency in both the overall upstairs heating and cooling of the house. Paul and his crew, Eric and George, came back to fix this issue, including installing new vents throughout the house. We then chose to replace the total heating and air conditioning system in our house. Let me tell you, Paul's prices are extremely reasonable and his service is top notch! Don't call anyone else for your hvac system. Paul is the only call you will ever have to make!
