I got lychee passion fruit green tea with boba ($5.50) "extra light sweet"-- not sure what the sweetness percentage was on that but it worked out great for me! Also, I love passion fruit flavor but recently all the other places have been putting seeds in them and I'm not a fan of crunching on those seeds so I haven't ordered passion fruit tea in a really long time. To be fair... the high end boba places don't really have passion fruit green tea either. BUT THIS PLACE!! Seed-less passion fruit tea thank you very much. When I arrived, there were only two staff members and both were busy preparing other orders, so I ended up waiting quite a while just to place my order. I tried ordering through the app instead, but it wasn't working, so eventually I asked a staff member to help me place the order. I then had some confusion when ordering my usual yogurt/fruit bowl. One of the staff members told me that they couldn't make it as a yogurt bowl without charging me the price of a regular bowl. I was confused because I've ordered the same type of bowl here multiple times before without being charged that way. The staff member initially gave me a hard time about it, although I do appreciate that they eventually apologized and checked with another staff member, who helped resolve the issue. The bowl itself was prepared fine, but unfortunately the overall quality of the fruit wasn't great this time. The fruit just didn't seem as fresh or as good-quality as it has been during my previous visits. I'm giving 2 stars because I've enjoyed this place before, but between the long wait, the initial customer service experience, and the quality of the ingredients this time, I left feeling pretty disappointed. My total was $7.25 and I gave her $10.25 so I could get $3 dollars back so I don't get change. She was refusing to take the $10.25 she kept telling me that she already rang it on the cashier box and couldn't change it. I was nice and can you please just me $3 dollars back to I don't get change. And she kept saying no no and was only giving me .75¢ cents back. I told her I gave you $10 the change is $2.75 she kept rolling her eyes and finally after I explained that my change was $2.75 and I I give you .25 cents you can give me $3 back. She finally gave me the $3 dollars with this nasty attitude and almost like I was bothering her. After I got my receipt I was scared for her to make my drink by way she was acting all sketchy. Luckily the guy that is always there made my drink. This left a soar taste in my mouth so I had to say something.
