It's a vibrant school bowl, smoothie, and juice bar that also offers the viral Dubai Chocolate strawberries, they the green had a big sign on the corner to draw people in and it worked! My husband and I were walking by and stopped in for a nice dessert. The store is clean and has lots of seating and space to just catch a quick to go order. They have refrigerated pre made juices and wellness shots along with a menu of made to order bowls and smoothies. The Dubai chocolate strawberries were delicious and decadent with plenty of pistachio cream and chocolate layered in, not just on top! First off, this place is really cool. I am always looking for places where I can call ahead and just pick up the smoothie because sometimes I am in such a hurry and I just want something really healthy that I can slurp down in the car. I was able to get a nice protein smoothie and add greens and super food to it. Not only was it really good, but I loved the presentation. It somehow turned purple and orange, and it was because of the super food in the peanut butter swirl. The service was really awesome, and ambience was really great as well. I love the pile of oranges and the fall decorations. This place feels like home as well as a really cool healthy place to go. They also have some Dubai chocolate strawberries I noticed so you can get a fun dessert or get really healthy at the same time. The juice smoothies were delicious and the staff were friendly. They made substitutions for the various allergies we have and for once a juice place did not trigger canker sores! Oftentimes smoothies can be way too sweet, but these felt very fresh and healthy. Even with the apple juice base it tasted great and wasn't too sweet. We also got dubai chocolate strawberries and they were SO GOOD. The strawberries were incredibly ripe and the chocolate, pistachio cream, and kadayif were layered in to make every bite perfection. The indoor area wasn't too crowded and I was able to take a seat while I waited for my order. It smelled lovely like fruit juice and was generally clean. There were some older sadder fruits on display that looked less nice, but they weren't rotting or anything. Probably just at the end of their life, and I'm hopeful they end up using them for juice before they're bad. This place is soooooo much better and healthier than Jamba Juice or other corporate juice places. I'm so thankful they don't put sherbet sugar garbage in their drinks. This is one of my favorite açaí bowls I've had. I'm very picky when it comes to them but I was so surprised by how delicious this was. It also comes with papaya but I get it without (nothing against them- I'm just not a fan). My husband always either gets their açaí bowl or dragon fruit bowl. Both are excellent as well - and again, always the freshest fruit slices! The difference is their base - açaí with mixed berries Vs dragon fruit with mixed berries. Can't go wrong! They also sell fresh juices, smoothies, local honey, and packages of dried fruits with or without tamarind, etc. among other items. They have inside seating, as well as a large outside patio area with plenty of tables. Their shop is always spotlessly clean. The staff have always been super friendly and welcoming. There are several factors that made me really love this place. One, it is dog-friendly like many of the establishments here in old town Monrovia. Two, they offer free samples of the juices available. And three, they have weekly specials where some juice flavors go on sale. A lot of the concoctions are pretty fun and unique. And I definitely will need to come back to try to their smoothies and other fruit offerings. The staff is also very nice to me and my dog. I didn't feel too rushed into figuring out what juice I wanted, they were helpful in recommending the flavor profile I was looking for. I like my drinks sweet and fruity so I opt out for the Cali Dream & Aztec Juice.
