    Shrimp Tacos

Big fans of this place! Incredibly diverse menu with countless tasty, healthy options. Everything we've ever ordered has been absolutely delicious, super fresh, and always consistent! Some of our favorites include the power plate, their wraps, and their tacos! But you can't go wrong with anything here. They have great açaí bowls and smoothies too. The service is always amazing. You're always greeted with friendly smiles and great recommendations. The place also has a super fun ambiance. 10/10 overall.

First time there, THE TASTE WAS AMAZING. loved the shrimp tacos that they suggested. Wish it wasn't as pricey but for being a "super food" cafe I feel as though it's most likely the ingredients to why it's pricey. The shrimp tacos were really good! Customer service was also great they gave extra sauce!

Tasty, tasty tasty. Good variety of menu options whether you're looking for açai bowls, breakfast lunch, coffee drinks, smoothies, and juices. The quality of the ingredients is what stands out here are and flavor combinations are make for a delicious bite or sip. I ordered the superfood latte which comes with MCT oil and agave for sweetness. very good. I ordered their popular breakfast burrito but went with bacon instead of steak. This burrito is fully loaded. There's a good amount of fluffy eggs inside sweet potatoes, avocado and bacon. the spicy aïoli is the cherry on top! ask for an extra side of it. Definitely some good eats and drinks if you find yourself in the area !

I always order this via Postmates and it's always really good. The flavor and the portions are great for the price. Definitely recommend the this place.

Delicious Acai Grill Bowl - no hemp seeds, additional toppings: strawberry and blueberry. Freshly squeezed OJ with light ice.

Delicious. I searched for an açaí bowl in Glendale and found Acai Grill. I looked at their menu before coming and I liked that they offered other items like coffee, breakfast, burgers, salads, wraps, tacos, and bowls. I wanted the açaí bowl but also a breakfast burrito so I ordered both along with a freshly squeezed OJ. I ordered the Acai Grill Bowl with no hemp seeds and my two additional toppings were blueberries and strawberries. The bowl is delicious. All of the ingredients - peanut butter, granola - are YUM. Highly recommend. For the burrito I went with their Chef's Breakfast Burrito because it has crispy potatoes instead of sweet potato. The burrito comes with a side of red salsa. They also have a green sauce and a chipotle aioli sauce upon request. I agreed with the person I ordered with that the Acai Grill Bowl wins over the burrito. The burrito is still good. Mine came spinach wrapped. Will return!

    Breakfast Burrito and Mango Tango

I'm ngl I was already on my way walking to a different brunch place when Acai Grill's pics of their food on the street stopped me in my tracks. I whipped out Yelp and wanted to see if the reviews matched how delicious the food looked. They did. With no hesitation I found my way down the basement and to Acai Grill. The girl who took my order was so sweet and considerate. I was really craving breakfast potatoes and so I asked them if they had anything like it on the menu. Although they didn't have exactly breakfast potatoes, she went to the kitchen to ask the chef what would be possible and said I could get something that'd be like rosemary potatoes. I really appreciated that she put in the extra effort to make it possible for me to get something I wanted. As for the food, I got the breakfast burrito, the side of potatoes mentioned above, and the mango tango. The breakfast burrito was delicioussss. The bacon inside were in small crunchy pieces, which was a nice contrast to the soft and saucy egg, avocado, and sweet potato. I rly enjoyed the sweet potato, which is a unique touch. It came w a side of extra sauce (I'm guessing it's the same as the sauce inside the burrito?) but it was not needed tbh cuz the burrito itself was already very flavorful and saucy. The side of potatoes were well seasoned and really soft, and though I was hoping for a crispy exterior kinda potato, I did enjoy these potatoes. The mango tango was pretty good-- nothing particularly memorable tbh. There's tables inside and wifi so it's a nice place to be able to sit and do work if you wanted to.

My partner and I have been coming here often. We come to eat after working out since they provide many healthy options. The portions are filling and the food is delicious! We haven't had anything we didn't like. The workers are very friendly and the owners are super helpful with any questions. We tend to add/substitute items and they are always willing to accommodate for us. They also give us yummy recommendations! The restaurant is welcoming with bright murals and greenery. Even though it's in a remote area of the building, the vibe is warm and cozy.

I regularly make the drive here whenever I'm craving a good acai bowl. Got the acai bowl with strawberries, blueberries and bananas but their peanut butter drizzle is to die for. Super filling and a good substitute for a meal.

Now, our waiter Caroll was probably of the hardest workers I've ever had the pleasure of being served by, and it's almost comedic that I couldn't leave my drink empty for longer for a few seconds before it was infact, topped up. Bottomless drinks really do exist here. On top of that, caroll suggested strawberry lemonade and passion fruit ice tea in lieu of my normal Arnold Palmer that's my go to on account of being out of lemonade. The resulting concoction I've lovingly dubbed: The Susie Summers. Official ratios still being tweaked but: 40% Strawberry lemonade 60% Passion Fruit Iced Tea Garnish with a lemon wedge and sprig of mint. While I had the Black Cow burger it wasn't of paricular note, it was pleasant BUT I did order it medium well, out of an abundance of caution for a new place. I'm very confident that trying it medium rare will likely improve the beef flavor. Overall a tasty burger regardless. However, the chicken pot pie my partner ordered was plated beautifully and had a wonderful puff pastry atop a very savory and delightfully seasoned filling. I definitely think it was a show stopper. I even asked Caroll to surprise me with a random dessert, and let me tell you, the Salted Caramel Apple Cheesecake is what dreams are made of. Very nicely sweet with a filling to knock your socks off. Oh the joys of new sights and smells. Cheers!

If it wasn't for the location, I don't think the restaurant would be nearly as popular. Our server was friendly, but not as attentive as we would've liked. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Bowl while everyone else had pasta. We enjoyed our food, but agreed that neither the portion nor the flavor entice us enough to come back. (My husband had the steak and mushroom penne, friends had the Chimchurri steak and the wedge salad) The negatives: I had the shrimp risotto and found it blah. The serving was very small - i feel like American portions are often obscenely large (and don't like that), but this was much smaller than average and I was still hungry after eating it. The flavor was ok, but nothing to write home about. And the shrimp were very small - what my husband and I call "bait" shrimp. Not the large shrimp you usually get at a nice restaurant. Since i was still hungry, I ordered a cobbler. It was fine, but not great. Texture was a bit strange - not traditional. Probably won't come back. The food is just not that interesting. It's like the kind of food you'd eat at a Midwestern buffet restaurant.

We thought he was a new employee because he had no clue what he was doing. He had NO personality no interest in general. When he first came to our table he didn't say hello or offer us appetizers or a cocktail. He asked for our dinner order. We ordered the fajita quesadilla and a combo plate. Daniel brought me the wrong taco; the taco was mostly lettuce and cheese very little meat ~ I was surprised because when I ordered this in the past it was excellent and done right (Not his fault tho he did write down my taco order incorrectly). He never came back to our table to check on us. When we were done we asked for a box because we had a lot of food left. He looked at it and brought us a tiny box. What was he thinking?? We asked the bus boy for another and he brought us the correct size. It was hard to get Daniels attention; we tried a few times to flag him down but he wasn't looking at us. We watched him a few different times throughout our time there, to see how he was with the other tables. We came to the conclusion that he looked like a fish out of water. Maybe he was overwhelmed even though the restaurant was a little more than half full last night at 5:30. Then he brought us our check while we were still eating! I told him I wanted to order dessert. Again, he had no clue what he was doing. I suggest the management take a look at this review and address this issue with him. Our experiences here have always been great, been coming for years.
