After stopping by their San Gabriel location, I was pretty stoked to find they actually had another on my way home. . I was so happy I would cry. Their Cloud9 smoothie is OTHERWORDLY.. I am dead serious. It is so well blended and smooth, the coconut milk gives it that unique flavor, the spirulina is heaven sent and the almond butter is the best ingredient EVER. The staff here is so nice and actually asked me if I wanted an additional ingredient free of charge. The location is a bit hidden, so you have to drive on Colima and make a right inside the parkind lot to drive in front of the suites that have their entrance on that side only (I didnt see any pedestrian entrances on Colima, but I could be wrong), but its worth it. This place is new and have such great options such as bowls, refreshers and smoothies. We tried on of the pre made bowls and had one make your own. They even allowed up to three bases for a small! Their toppings are fresh and this is one of the few places I know that has mango toppings with a mango base! We tried the warrior bowl as well and it comes with a lot of peanut butter so I would recommend telling them to put a little bit less. This is my go-to Acai bowl place and I loved everything about it, including the food, choices, and customer service. However, I had a bad experience today at the store. We ordered the OG Bowl and on the menu it specifically says "+Almond butter (0.75)", which would mean this is an extra optional topping that carries an additional charge. When we placed the order, we did not ask to add almond butter, but it was automatically added by the server and when we asked about it, their response was "everyone else is served that way and it would be unfair if we don't charge you extra." This logic doesn't make sense that everyone is served the same way which does not align with what is represented on the menu. If so, then I would strongly suggest the store to revise their menu to indicate that almond butter automatically is included. The point concerning being not the extra cost, but what if somebody is allergic to almond butter and didn't know it's automatically included? read more

They offer several different bases, with ube being the newest one. I've tried all the base flavors and think they're all great, but original acai remains my favorite. Maple almond butter is a MUST! I arrived about an hour before closing, and as I drove by the entrance, I took a quick glance and saw that it didn't look too crowded, the parking lot was very large as well, so there were plenty of spots to easily park (so long as you're willing to walk). I realized that I needed to check my eyes because as soon as I arrived, I saw that the line was actually out the door from the back end of the shop! But, the workers did a great job in keeping the line moving (even when it was just under an hour before closing) because after a few minutes in line, I was inside the shop, and I was able to start my order. I decided on getting the OG Bowl and the Paradise Bowl. My bowls were made very quickly and skillfully by the personnel behind the counter. The way they spooned the chia pudding into the bowls so cleanly was hypnotizing! They were very generous with all the toppings and the OG Bowl was delicious! The açaí base was very sweet and all the toppings and fruit used were fresh. I got the medium size, and it was huge, I couldn't finish it so I froze it for breakfast the next day. After a few minutes of defrosting, the bowl was still good enough as a leftover considering that it had a few fresh topping ingredients that aren't best for storage/freezing. Checked out this spot a few days after they opened--was so excited to see an açaí place open up in this area, especially because I'm a big fan of Blue Bowl. It took a little longer to get our bowls, but that's because they're very careful as they're adding all the ingredients. I appreciate that they slice the banana and strawberries in front of you -- takes time but it's nice to know it's fresh! Also, currently there is a Yelp check in offer for free maple almond butter (75 cents usually). The presentation is also lovely and the portion size is good! GRAND OPENING! Açaí joint in rowland heights. The grand opening was 2/26/2022. I came around the afternoon and the lines were moderately long. Definitely worth the wait though, I got 4 bowls. They have 3 sizes to their bowl, small medium and large. They also have smoothies on their menu which I will definitely come back to try. They have plenty of toppings for their açaí bowls and everything was really good. The fruits are fresh and delicious. You can also check into Yelp for their almond butter drizzle in your bowl. All the staff are so nice and understanding when taking our order. After our order we went outside to spin for freebies and I got a hat while my friends got coupons. They also have a small area that looks really pretty for pictures which I think is a nice touch. Definitely coming back here again, I'm glad there's a good açaí area around my area. I've recently been on an acai bowl craze and have been venturing out in search of good bowls to satisfy my addiction. Found out in January that Acai Joint was opening at the old Zero Degrees location next to Half & Half / Phoenix. Fingers crossed, I hoped they would be good. Fast forward, I just came back home from their grand opening and ate the bowls with my family. Bowls did not disappoint and delivered! I just tried their signature bowls instead of the build your own since it was crowded from the BOGO promotion. OG Bowl (no almond butter) - 4.5/5 OG Bowl sub pitaya base (no almond butter) - 4/5 I don't really like any forms of butter in my acai bowls so I asked them to remove it from all the bowls. My family never tried pitaya base so I substituted one of the OGs with that. It's not bad but we all agreed that the acai base is better. Pitaya was somewhat bland. Also, I never tried cocoa chips with my bowls because I usually don't like fruits mixed with chocolate. Just like how some people say pineapple don't belong in pizza, I personally don't think cocoa chips belong in an acai bowl. I'm for sure removing the chips next time. Paradise Bowl (no peanut butter) - 5/5 My favorite was the OG Bowl but the rest of my family voted Paradise Bowl as the winner. Mango base is refreshing and goes well with the pineapple and coconut. I also love their chia pudding (they usually have at least 2 flavors)! I never used to get the overnight oats either but i do enjoy the way Acai Joint makes them. Another bonus that I don't see very often elsewhere is the protein granola! Especially if you're trying to reach your protein goals its always nice to have options like this that cater to health goals!
