Boba milk tea, less sugar and ice with grass jelly

I've been coming to Quickly in Rowland Heights ever since I was little, and I continued coming here throughout my high school years at Rowland High School. It honestly makes me so happy to see them still here and booming after all these years, especially with how competitive the boba scene has become. This is definitely one of the OG boba spots in Rowland Heights that's still standing strong. Their prices haven't changed much over the years, and you can still get their HUGE super-size drinks for such an affordable price. Their boba is fantastic too -- it has that classic, nostalgic boba milk tea taste that immediately reminds me of growing up in the area. The shop is female-owned, and the owners are absolutely lovely. You can tell this place has been part of the community for a LONG time, and there's something really special about seeing a local business you grew up with continue to thrive. If you grew up around Rowland Heights, you probably already know about this place. And if you didn't, definitely give them a try! I'll always have a soft spot for this Quickly.

Just got back from Taiwan and craving some snacks. Love the snack combo and the tofu. The drinks are always a staple and great price. My place to come back to here and to bring the kids.

Stephanie is always friendly! I always get my boba here and popcorn chicken! Best popcorn chicken in the area! Can't get enough. If i'm always in the area I will get high cholesterol!

If you're on a low sodium diet, this Quickly is the place to go. Their fries are unsalted and their fried combination is lightly salted. It comes with popcorn chicken, calamari, fishcake, tofu and squidball. The saltiest is the popcorn chicken. That being said, I'm not low sodium so everything was a little bland for me. T_T;;; We love their fast service and milk tea with mini boba though.

I called in an order for popcorn chicken at 9:42pm Friday night and the girl on the phone said 20min wait. 20 mins later I show up to pay and she says 3 more mins. A couple of customers come and go with their drink and our phone order is still not out. So we wait over by the pick up counter and the same worker who rung up our order and picked up the phone tells us "lemme go check on your order" and goes back to the kitchen. She comes back out and returns to making drinks. Mind you, several other customers have placed an order for AND received their popcorn chicken. What could be taking so long?!?! (The store had 6 orders the whole hour we had been waiting, not even busy) We go back up to the counter for the 3rd time and that SAME girl with short hair addresses us, "Hi are you waiting for something?" DONT PMO RN. I've been waiting for an hour at this point and a whole 40mins since we paid!! so another guy comes over to look through the POS for our ticket, 0/10 customer service for someone's simple order you LOST. He went back to making drinks with four other customers waiting, and started throwing things around in the kitchen making an unnecessary ruckus. I suggest hiring more friendly and competent employees. "Quickly", maybe the name should be "Slowly".

Good popcorn chicken. Drinks are meh. The quality is all powder every flavor. The taste doesn't have any quality compared to other boba places. DONT GET GARLIC FRIES. It's just fries sprinkled with garlic powder. No flavor what so ever. The garlic powder isn't even good tasting. I really believe that the fries were already made and they just heated it somewhat and then just dazzle on the garlic powder. It doesnt even have any flavor and is very bland.

    One of our favorite drinks.

I had been coming here for years. The customer service is great, friendly and the foods are great. I enjoy coming here with my son.

It literally lives up to its name and makes you happy with every sip! What touched me the most was the cultural vibe. The walls are lined with exquisite framed displays detailing different tea bases--like Wuyi Da Hong Pao, Jin Jun Mei, Jasmine Snow, Yunnan Pu'er, Taiwan Dong Ding Oolong, and Osmanthus Tieguanyin--complete with real tea leaves packed into the bottom! Reading through all those cool tea facts while waiting for my order actually made the wait feel super meaningful. The tea came through strong, the sweetness was spot on, and it just tasted well made. So I came back. Twice. And both times were a letdown. The tea flavor was much weaker and the drinks came out milky instead of tea-forward. Even the sweetness level they recommend didn't taste right anymore, which is frustrating when you've already dialed in your order. I also tried the osmanthus lemon iced tea and it came out bitter. Not a subtle bitterness either. That one I wouldn't order again. I don't think the recipe changed so much as the consistency slipped. When they get it right, it's genuinely one of the better milk teas around. I just wish I could count on it. Still rooting for this place. Hoping the next visit is like the first one.

Most times I visited, I had absolutely no wait at all, although I heard that during peak hours it gets pretty busy due to how busy the plaza is. My wife and I visited during lunch on a weekend and it was no wait whatsoever. Easily placed our orders and it was about a 5-10 minute wait for our drinks, very nice overall. Staff is friendly and quick which is always nice to see for a tea shop. They have plenty of options to go around, usually they'll have a sample for you to try which is nice if you can't decide on your drink choice. I absolutely love the mango or lemon condensed milk series, it's a mix of yakult style drinks on top of a bit more of a gushy feeling when you're sipping. Mix that with a bit of kick and you have the perfect drink for a hot day. Absolutely recommend trying it. Overall, a well maintained shop, although can get really packed during the peak hours, it's absolutely worth checking their store out. Very high quality drinks, consistent across all San Chen locations and definitely my choice of tea shop whenever my wife and I are in the area.

It's located in the same plaza as Chubby Skewers with a large shared parking lot, though the plaza itself can get busy. Ordering is easy through the self-service kiosks, and they also have a rewards program. The staff was incredibly friendly. My partner decided at the last minute that he wanted to add their mini pearls, and they happily accommodated the change without any hassle. I got the large macchiato (around $6). I would've liked a stronger tea flavor, but considering the price point, not bad. The mini boba wasn't my favorite, but if you plan on adding it, I'd recommend asking for light boba unless you're a serious boba lover. My partner's drink was probably close to 40% boba, which was a little much for our taste. Just know this is strictly a grab-and-go kind of place. There aren't any indoor tables, although plenty of people were hanging out with their drinks outside. Likely would come back to try their other drinks!

The mochi components were soft and chewy. The dessert can get milky and creamy since most of the ingredients are milk based. The black sesame flavors stood out and highly recommend if you like black sesame. We ordered and paid on the kiosk using apple pay. The presentation of their fresh milk mochi (鲜奶麻薯) bowls and dip-and-stretch mochi desserts is undeniable--it makes for great photos, and the shop itself is super bright and clean. The stretchy texture of the milk mochi base was fun and delightfully soft, and components like the taro paste and purple rice had a nice, subtle sweetness. However, for the price point, the execution fell a little short. Some of the toppings felt under-prepared; the taro balls lacked that fresh, springy chewy elasticity you want in a shaved ice/mochi bowl, and the coconut jelly base tasted slightly watered down instead of rich. Logistics wise, the service was quite slow even though the store wasn't very busy, and parking in this Labin Court plaza can be a complete nightmare during peak evening hours. It's a solid place to stop by once for the aesthetic and novelty, but given the steep competition for Asian desserts in Rowland, it doesn't quite hit top-tier status for me.
