My husband booked me a birthday facial with Gigi and it was honestly such a great experience. She started by taking photos of my skin and walking me through the results so I could actually see my problem areas. I really appreciated how she educated me about my current skincare routine without trying to upsell me or push me into upgrading to a different facial. It felt like a genuine, helpful conversation. Once the facial started, she explained every step of what she was doing and why, which I loved because it helped me understand what my skin actually needs. She used organic products from Hungary that smelled absolutely amazing and felt so refreshing on my skin. The facial itself was incredibly relaxing, and since it was actually on my birthday it made the day feel even more special. My skin was glowing the rest of the day and I even got compliments on how good it looked. Another thing I really appreciated is that Gigi never pushed products on me. That can sometimes make things awkward, but she didn't do that at all. Ironically, because the facial and products were so great, I ended up buying some anyway. Such a wonderful experience. But my sister kept raving about her facialist and her skin is amazing so I thought I'd give her person a try. Oh. My. God. Run, don't walk. This is not your average steam and then massage and then sell you products facial. This is such a pampering, high quality, amazing experience. I've now been going to see Gigi (Acai) about 1x month for more than a year. I love the space, it is inviting, smells amazing, love the relaxing music, and warm soft massage table sheets and blankets. Gigi is very knowledgable, warm, and just such a lovely person. I feel so pampered. It is hands down my favorite thing to do. I love the products she uses. Smells amazing and I leave with my skin glowing and so relaxed. People have commented that my skin looks more youthful and radiant. My deep lines are gone! I could not recommend Gigi more. I've been going to Gigi for facials regularly (about 1x a month) since December 2024 and have had such a positive experience! I have struggled with acne since my teen years and have tried a million different things, but since working with Gigi my skin has really improved. My acne has cleared up a lot, my skin is more hydrated, and my skin tone/texture is much more even. Overall, I feel way more confident with my skin. Gigi is very knowledgeable and I really appreciate how thorough she is with explaining the products and techniques she's using. At my first appointment, I was nervous since I'd never had a facial before but she was really friendly and made the experience comfortable for me. I also appreciate that she's not pushy about getting you to buy products; she'll recommend some that she thinks will work for you but she doesn't pressure you to purchase anything. I have purchases a few products there and they have worked really well. The studio is also very relaxing, and I now look forward to each appointment. Overall, I've had a wonderful experience here and am so glad I started going to Gigi even though I was nervous! I went there 3 times and my skin cleared up with consistent sessions every 4 weeks. The entrance is really nice and they played calming music. I liked the room set up but I stopped going because it felt more like a shop than a spa. My tech would try to sell my every product they put on me and it was hard to relax or focus on myself with all the sales talk. She was really sweet & I'm unsure if that's management policy or her but it felt bad rejecting products so I just stopped going. read more

I have been coming to Gigi for several years now and there is no one else I trust with my skin. She is so knowledgeable and has such a gentle yet effective approach. I have tried just about every kind of facial she offers. (Hydrafacial, peels, detox). They are all amazing and leave you *glowing* She has also educated me on what causes breakouts where, so I am more aware of when my diet is poor and my hormones are acting up. She also helped me prep my skin for my wedding day and honestly my makeup was flawless because it all starts with great skin care!! I'm super self conscious of my skin but they never once made me feel bad or insecure. Viri did my facial and she was always transparent with the products being used and what their uses were for. She even recommended products as I continue on with my skincare journey. She assured me that while it won't be overnight, I'll see changes in my skin with the right routine. I give this place two stars because I was not satisfied. I needed to feel better, so I thought a facial would help. I was not feeling good emotionally when I came to see Gigi.. She was friendly and warm.. What she didn't know is I am educated about skin and I know how to do facial myself etc.. But I didn't choose that career path. What upset me is this.. two days after getting the facial, the breakouts I asked her to extract became bigger pimples, and I got a few more pimples in areas that were supposed to be ok. She told me not to wash my face when I got home, but I needed it and i didn't feel clean anyway. There was no satisfying facial massage which was my favorite part, and the high frequency tool. Overall I just wasn't satisfied. I am so sorry Gigi but I have to be honest. The lady that was there a few years ago was really really good. I was expecting the same experience. But not only did I not receive the same experience, I also did not feel like my pores were cleaned. I love her personality though, just the facial itself was not what I expected. read more

I contacted this office before 12:00 Noon today, with hopes of scheduling an appointment for a chemical peel, based on all of the extremely positive reviews, only to be highly disappointed. Unfortunately, I didn't get the woman's name, but she answered from her personal cell phone. After discussing in great detail my concern regarding my skin, she all but told me what I was sharing with her was virtually impossible. However, in the midst of the conversation, the phone was disconnected. I can only assume she hung up purposely, because within seconds, she texted me, telling me she would call me back. After calling her back, She stated there was a Doctor in the office currently that could possible consult with me over Zoom, but again she would call me back. As I type this review, it's currently 4:15 PM(4hrs later) and I have yet to receive a call. This is EXTREMELY unprofessional & counter intuitive to any establishment that wants to continue to grow and maintain a stellar reputation. I can't believe there are so many raving reviews. I'm not sure if this is racial profiling or a cowardly approach to a problem she didn't want to address any further. I mention racial profiling due to the fact, she said "people of color" (I never mentioned my race). Finally, this is EXACTLY, why reviews are NOT the holy grail when deciding whether or not to do business with particular establishments. I actually found out about Acai Skin Studios through Instagram. I decided to reach out to Gigi after I practically almost ruined my skin, i was using everything in the book and combining all sorts of face cleaners scrubs etc. I was using my Clarisonic twice a day which dried out my skin and made it super sensitive and dry. To start off Acai Skin Studios has a complete menu of all the facials that are provided and breaks them down in detail which makes it easy to choose what your looking for. Upon arriving to my facial I filled out a questionnaire about my skincare routine and my daily routine. I made myself comfortable on the bed and relaxed to some soothing music and lavender infuser. Gigi analyzed my skin and told me what state my skin was in and what she planned out for my facial. As she continued with my facial she asked me if I wanted to know what she was applying to my skin or if I wanted to relax, of course I wanted to know so she explained in very much detail. My facial went on for a hour and a half she massages the back of my neck I had a warm blanket it was the best and most relaxing experience ever. Gigi is so full of knowledge and knows her craft. I have already been to see her 2 more times since then and I have referred a lot of my friends and they have loved it. If you are looking for a legit esthetician and someone who knows he craft and shares her knowledge this is where you want to be. If I could give more stars I would Gigi is awesome!! read more
