I went to get a spray tan and it stopped after the pre tan sprays. I was naked and wet and had to go ask for help. There was nothing to be done to fix the machine. Instead of offering to refund my tan and give me a free one for my trouble, they offered to give me a call to discuss?? What is there to discuss? I bought a service I didn't receive, wasted my time and had a very uncomfortable experience. What HORRIBLE customer service. When I walked in, and during my 15 min wait for my not tan, the woman in front of me had the same experience with a different machine, I should have known! read more

(LOL - I didn't realize I already left a review. But they deserve a review again that says they are still fantastic). I have been a regular client for the past... *5 years or so? I come back every time, like clockwork, a month before I am about to go on vacation. I want to look like I've been on vacation before I even go on vacation. I don't use their spray tans because I'm afraid of them - but I've thought about it. I use the tanning beds and love the two at the front and #4. My method, as Jill and the other front desk person know, is that I always ask for their recommendation for what bed I should hit next. I tell them my goals, they ask me whether I'd like to stand or lie down, they look at the previous beds, then put me in one that they think will be best. Obviously my goal is to get darker, but each bed is different! For example, I know I get a ton of immediate color after hitting #4. They offer great packages that are reasonably priced, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Both of the front desk women that I see all the time are my favorite ladies - Jill and I'm so upset that I never asked the other what her name is. I love seeing them when I get in. They are quick, knowledgeable, friendly, and patient! This is the other reason I keep coming back. I will recommend the lotions because one of the years, I tried to do it without the lotion and I didn't get nearly as dark as I usually get. I have been going here for a about a year simply out of pure convenience but today I canceled my membership because I was verbally and almost physically assaulted by a Caucasian woman in pajamas who was hanging around the front desk chatting with Jill (Jill works at the tanning salon). And to be fair, Jill has always been such a sweetheart, so my issue never was with Jill. That is however, until she allowed that random Caucasian elderly lady in pajamas to insert herself into our conversation that had NOTHING to do with her. - I pay a monthly membership fee but honestly have not been coming in often. - I typically have an OK experience, but this time there was a darn fly that would not disappear from the tanning bed- photo attached. I had to keep popping in and out of the tanning bed every minute, which made it such a miserable experience. - I was so frustrated. I finally hopped out of the bed for the fifth time and called the front desk and asked them to shut off the bed because of the situation with the fly. I asked if they could reset the timer for only the three minutes left so I could at least finish my session. They said they can't do that because of legal reasons, which I can understand, but at the same time I didn't finish my session that I paid for. - I come out of the room and was chatting with Jill about the situation and suggested that maybe they should get those fly trappers from Amazon that are so inexpensive and will prevent gross flys from swarming the salon. She dismissed my suggestion and began to get an attitude. - Rule of thumb, when you work in customer service you should be able to know how to handle challenging situations regardless of the circumstances. At no point did I call Jill out of her name or was disrespectful with her whatsoever. I was simply frustrated because I came in for a relaxing tanning experience and didn't get that. - I asked if there's anything that they can do because I just wanted three minutes to finish my tan. Then suddenly this random older lady in pajamas just involves herself and starts attacking my physical appearance, calling my lips and ass fake. Which I thought was so comical because it had nothing to do with the situation, and she might've just been jealous because she can't afford any filler or cosmetic surgeries. Mind you she was in pajamas and I still don't understand who this lady was or why Jill was allowing her to involve herself? She then walked over to me and got in my face and was harassing me as if she wanted to fight me. Mind you a 70 year old grandma acting like this LOL - I asked to cancel my membership and while Jill was handling that the pajama grandma lady would not stop talking crap. It was insanity to me for a lady in her late 70s to behave in this manner and doesn't even work there. - I even tried to clear the air with Jill because I didn't want to end it on a bad note because again my issue was never with Jill, yet pajama grandma lady would not stop talking shit. It was wild to me! - I asked for confirmation for a cancellation of my membership, but Jill refused which I'm sure is illegal. I asked when Paul the owner would be in and she said she didn't know but I could call tomorrow. All in all, if that random lady didn't involve herself in the situation. Jill and I could have handled this situation in a calm manner. To management: if you are trying to attract unclassy clientele who attack other clients, go right ahead but I will be sure to let all my family and friends, as well as my social media following about this ridiculous and disgusting experience. To future clientele: if you are looking for a salon that doesn't take care of their facility, has flys in their tanning rooms, allows random people to attack you, and are only nice to you if you don't share any feedback with them, this is the place for you. All of the staff are sweet and knowledgeable about tanning. They will help you get the results you want, all you gotta do is talk to them and they'll make great recommendations. I get a lot of compliments. I started about a year ago but when i started it was for my sis wedding that was in 2 months and they got me right! Its clean and the hours are good. I never had to wait longer than 5 min to get my desired "bed". They sell tanning lotions. Ive tried two diff ones, both worked really well. One was cheaper than the other- they have options. My husband and I have been coming here since they very first opened years ago. Since Covid, all new staff, DOUBLED their prices and now just plain rude and non-caring attitude. Owner knows he is the only tanning salon in the East Bay and knows people will pay his prices no matter how high they are. I went to tan and unfortunately my card could not be run for my monthly membership 4 days prior because it had expired. I was told I could not tan that day even though I promised I would call later that afternoon with my new debit card number (I left my wallet at home). What got me in the front door was the gentleman (never got a name) But, he was extremely professional and answered all of my questions efficiently...he was also nice and pleasant on the phone. Why I chose to come here( I called a few other tanning Salons)- Club Soleil have a lot of packages and options that are a good fit for me.. great prices, good business operating hours, etc. About the place.. the beds are good.... really good!! I already see results and I just started, granted I tan easily anyway. The facility is clean.. the beds are clean and there aren't fingerprints/ lotion smudges, etc. The beds are new and the place has a contemporary vibe. Kudos to Jill for being so friendly!! Came here in February, and it was my first spray tan EVER!!! Needless to say I was so nervous, I kept thinking what if I end up looking orange like a little oompah loompah. But honestly the guy (who's name I forgot, sorry friend) he was so informative, the way he explained everything made it so easy once I got into the machine and got down to business. He was very helpful with all the tips and tricks. I have another tan that I've prepaid for and I'm looking forward to going back. Also the tan lasted about a week. My first tanning salon experience here, and I must say it was a great experience! I needed some good tan before my vacation to Bahamas, as my thighs and arms were white and the rest in brown. I do need my skin tweaked up with some sun color! I found this place through Yelp due their high ratings, I didn't care how far it is as I live in Fremont/Union City area. I went here around 7am to beat the traffic and went in. The lady manager was super helpful and knowledgeable! I forgot her name, but if I remember I will update this review and give her a shout-out! I wanted the spray tan. She led me into this room with the stand up tanning Versa machine you have to step into. She will instruct you the most complicated tanning choreography. But that's ok, you just need to recite with her! She will tell you step-by-step on the body position after each spray. First, I thought I got everything in my mind right and ready to go inside that machine to get sprayed. After getting in, after spray passes, changing positions and then at the very last, the tan sprayed my front about 4 times and none at the back. I told the lady manager that this happened and she told me I messed up. It should be 2 sprays on front and 2 sprays on back... Oops. She told me to shower as soon as possible before the color accelerates, but they do not have a shower. I then went to the nearest 24 hour fitness gym (thank goodness to my nationwide gym access membership!). Took a quick rinse then went back to the salon, lolol. I did the same thing again, with the right positions after each spray.. phew! After about 5 hours, my skin starts to turn gold! Winning like a golden! Oh, did I mention I get another free spray on my next visit? Awesome!! read more

Came here with a friend over a year ago and it has remained my go-to ever since. I signed up to be a member and got an extremely cheap package that allows me to sample many of the beds. They constantly have promotions on the lotions and if you sign up to receive text messages, they send you really good offers on packages and sometimes FREE tans!! The beds are also thoroughly cleaned after every use (and no missing bulbs like some janky salons I've encountered) and you have the option of hearing music.
