    Quesadilla Fajita w/ pollo

Situated just off I-24 behind the Shell Station in what appears to be an old converted Huddle House, Acapulco Burrito is not only a restaurant, but an experience! We were at the nearby outlets and decided to grab Mexican for dinner, and Acapulco Burrito was just an exit away, so off we went. When we pulled in, it didn't look like much, your standard re-purposed building now occupied by a local spot. But when you enter, you are greeted with energy, whether it be the intricate art on the walls, the bright colors or the random guy carrying a speaker and singing to tables...this plus the random "vendors" carrying trays of wood carvings or bouquets of roses for sale. Again...energy from every direction! You can definitely tell this is a local gem for the Latino population. Everyone was super welcoming and accommodating for us non-Spanish speakers...with that, everything is authentic and in Spanish here, so be prepared to whip out Google translate as needed! The menu is just as authentic as the decor and vibes, and while they offer all the classics you are accustomed to, they have several traditional dishes as well. While we did not get it, the Caldo was massively popular, legit just about every table ordered...clearly we missed out! We went with a few classics and they were great...same dishes we are used to by appearance, but the flavor was next level, even the rice! Service was stellar. Our server was friendly, welcoming and helpful from start to finish! Overall, an absolute gem of a place in Antioch. Definitely on the rotation when we find ourselves out that way!

My friend and I decided to stop here on our way to Atlanta. It looks like a small restaurant but has decent amount of seating inside. The bar area is kind of small but seems like they serve every king of drink. I ended up ordering a torta sandwich that wasn't all that good. The chicken was not seasoned at all

The food had great flavor. From the salsa, chips to the full size plate. I had the fish with onion, with rice and shrimp. Highly recommend!

The outside might look a little run down, but the food and service is amazing. I recommend the fajitas.

What a treat! Not what I expected, but absolutely delicious. Very authentic and very busy little spot. Do not let the outside deter you! Service is a bit slow, but friendly staff. I got the roller tacos- 2 chicken and two beef. The chicken was the star! All the sauces were great.

I continued my quest for good Mexican food in Nashville by stopping by Acalpoco Burritto, largely because of the Yelp reviews. Coming up to the building it isn't very inviting. It's located by a freeway off ramp in a old looking building by a gas station. Inside it looks very authentic. The highlight for me were the mariachis playing in the dining room. Great! I would say the seats are too close together and the sound dampneners are none existent because it is very loud in there to where it would be hard to have a conversation. I ordered a chorizo and cheese dip with chips which was actually pretty good. My main course was mole beef enchiladas with rice and beans. The rice was one of the better versions of Mexican rice in the Nashville area. The beans were the same tasteless, canned, liquid beans that seem to be all over the city. As for the enchiladas the beef had no flavor and the mole was too sweet for my taste. I didn't enjoy the food but gave this spot three stars because the live mariachi band was pretty cool.

Stopped in on my way through town. The food was okay. I found the place desperately in need of a cleaning though. I would not return.

Casa Fiesta is a local Mexican restaurant that sits on Bell Road near the Cane Ridge Road…read moreintersection, just a few blocks off of 24. It sits up on a hill, so half the restaurant is perched above the lot below. At first glance, you see the less than savory motels surrounding the restaurant, but don't let that deter you! For the most part, Casa Fiesta is your standard local Mexican spot, and I am down for that. I knew what to expect from a menu perspective, as well as service wise. I popped in after a visit to the nearby outlets, as I decided to treat myself to a bit of lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The space is large and features several dining rooms and a large wrap around/covered patio. I went with inside, as I love me a good booth and some AC. I was promptly sat upon entry and greeted just as quickly by my server. Along with the chips and salsa, I added a small queso and then went right in for the lunch order, which was the classic grilled chicken, cheese and rice. I added grilled onions, as why not!? Additionally, I got a side of sour cream. The plate of chicken, cheese and rice plus onions was HOT and PACKED, legit no room for anything else on that place. The serving size is definitely larger than I have gotten at many other local Mexican spots, and I was not mad at it. While the meal was large, the side of sour cream was not in proportion, which was a bummer. Maybe I like too much sour cream? I mean, is that really a thing? The food was tasty, but the chicken had a slight char taste to it, like maybe the grill was too hot or had remanence of another dish on it? It wasn't "bad", but noticeable for sure. Service was friendly and efficient. From entry to exit, I spent around 35 - 40 minutes in the restaurant. While the service size was larger than expected, so were the prices with the lunch running $15.99, small queso coming in at $6.99, and sour cream costing $1.50...totally close to $30 for lunch. Parking is plentiful. Getting in and out can be a hassle, especially if you are trying to turn left out of the lot. Either way, be careful. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and meal at Casa Fiesta! Definitely on the list of places to swing by when I find myself in the Antioch area!
