In short, save your money and go somewhere else. We ordered birria tacos and they were tasteless, under seasoned and awful in general. The worst birria tacos I have EVER had. The meat tasted extremely bad. And on to of that, the chips and salsa were a solid 0 stars. The chips tasted burnt and with a foul flavor. Acapulco is one of our go to Mexican chain restaurants with this particular location being in Florence. We have been to this location many times and they've always been good to us and this was no exception. We started with our usual starter of Chori-Queso. It's a queso dip with the addition of chorizo and is so classically delicious. Just love it. For my main course I got one of my Acapulco favourites; The Seafood Burrito. It's a flour tortilla stuffed with crab, shrimp, and topped with cheese (it also comes with onions but I had them left off. It also comes with rice on the side. It is so delicious as they put so much shrimp and crab in there and that cheese topping something special. This is a super delicious burrito that I highly recommend. The Mexican rice was great too. The service was fine and the restaurant looked clean and very festive. All in all another great lunch at Acapulco. read more

Traveling on our way to Cincinnati from Williamstown around 9:30pm we thought nothing would open and we were really hungry on our way we found this Mexican restaurant that we didn't know of but we saw a big group of people chatting outside the restaurant so we thought of giving it a try. We found great service and delicious and original Mexican ingredients and seasonings. We're Mexican so we know when food is authentic Mexican or not. Brought my temporary paper ID proving I'm 21 years of age while I am waiting for my official ID to come in. They seemed suspicious that I was 21 but served me anyway. Ive eaten from Acapulco a few times already but this would be my first review. Flavor wise the food is great!!! Tasty and feels fresh. It is not expensive and you get a good amount per entree. Negatives on this order. The margaritas on the rocks. Well the 'rocks' on a to go order should not be added for obvious reasons but just in case THEY MELT!... the big margarita on the front was a 32oz if not mistaken, the ones on the back 24oz. So you need to pretty much drink them ASAP. The onions on the street tacos are HUGE! Tasty but too much and the way they get serve on the aluminum although its a lot they just crumble. Thank got for the chips which you can use to eat everything that falls. Besides that everything else was great! 3 stars just because the margaritas and the street tacos where mine so I had to. Acapulco was the last sit down dining experience that we had in early March before going into quarantine for the coronavirus pandemic and it was our first sit down dining experience after coming out of self isolation! We have been dining here for many years and the service and food is always excellent! The chips and salsa are always great. The servers will gladly bring you as many chips and salsas that you ask for! We love the white cheese dip with chips! The cheese dip is also on two of our favorite entrees (pollo loco and carnitas Acapulco)! I always ask for their amazing spicy tomatillo salsa to put on my entree! We also love that you can order dinner portions at lunch if you are really hungry or if you like to have leftovers like we do! They have a make-shift dining area in the parking lot and half a dozen small tables set up near the entrance. The menu is very extensive. Server was polite, but nothing extraordinary. Had a margarita and ordered the pollo loco. The chicken was not very flavorful, it was a breast that seemed think and sort of blah. The mushrooms, rice and cheese sauce tasted good, but there were more onions than anything. I would not order this again, and it was listed as a customer favorite. The margarita (mango) was good but must have been at least $10. The meal was fairly expensive compared to most Mexican restaurants that I go to.
