First time at this place and I approve. You walk in and it feels like a museum. They have so much stuff on the walls and different items everywhere.....very cool atmosphere. I went there with my crew (I'm a flight attendant) for Christmas Eve and the captain wanted to buy us all drinks. I don't usually drink but had one since it was a holiday. I got the Kings Punch and WOW!! Couldn't even taste the alcohol and that's the kind of drink I like. Drank the whole thing and honestly could have had more but didn't wanna get drunk so I stuck to just one. For the food, no idea that they had ordered an appetizer cause I wasn't paying attention. I didn't get a picture but this thing was HUGE. It had SO MUCH stuff on it and everything I had was delicious. For my meal I decided to go with a kids meal because between the appetizer and free chips and salsa I was already getting full. I ordered the beef tacos which came with rice, beans and even dessert at the end. For a kids meal it was HUGE!! I don't eat a lot so this was perfect for me. And like I assumed, I couldn't even finish and took most of it home. For the dessert I got an orange push pop which tasted like my childhood. So good!! I've been here MANY times and it's a frequent restaurant we visit. You can't go wrong with Chuy's. EVERYTIME we've been the service has been great. The restaurant is always clean and the atmosphere is nice. You're always given chips and salsa and the creamy jalapeño dip which is DELICIOUS. They'll give you more chips if you ask. Their shrimp tacos are my favorite. But the chicken tacos, chicken flautas, enchiladas, fajitas and more are all super good! I love the boom boom sauce. Literally you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. I always leave full and satisfied after eating here. I will definitely continue supporting Chuy's as I always have. read more

A fast food chain that offers good Tex-mex when I'm in the area. I usually get their vegetable bowl. It's a filling dish that is vegan and freshly made full of rice, beans and vegetables. The service is good and the meal is prepared quickly. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

Chuy's continues to be one of our go to's for awesome Tex-Mex cuisine. The restaurant looks so fun and the people have been so nice to us and that was definitely no different this time. On this occasion I got their Steak Burrito which was stuffed with steak, Jack cheese, and Hatch Green Chile sauce. The steak and cheese was excellent with great flavour cooked into the steak. The Hatch Green Chile sauce however was a bit disappointing with it being advertised as being spicy but lacked both spice or really any flavour at all. Even so the the steak and cheese did make up for the shortcomings of the sauce for me. The Mexican rice was excellent as well. All in all another great visit to Chuy's. read more

Our daughter has celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. She ordered the chicken and the manager came out and said that the usual way it is prepared is in beer and beer has gluten. Hadn't been to Chuy's in 8+ years and I cannot really figure out why. We sat on the back patio on a fairly busy Friday night, but it was nice and didn't feel too cramped. Despite them being busy, the service was really good. We were also highly satisfied with the food we ordered - the taco salad and a chicken quesadilla. Worst "Mexican" food that I've ever had. Super limited menu, and the chips were loaded with salt and inedible. The icing on the cake is the Christian prayers on the silverware wrapper. Normally Chuy's is very good and quick! We stopped into Chuy's during happy hour and sat at the bar. It took about 10 minutes before someone was able to take our order. Once we got our order in, the bartender was very nice and had a great personality. We ordered the Queso appetizer on happy hour. It took another 10 minutes to come out, even the bartender was surprised how long it was taking. Once we got the Queso it was cold and very small for the price we paid. read more

That they and the salsa were readily replenished was super. The meal, cheese-chicken enchiladas, was honestly just average at best. The chicken in the enchiladas was tough. It's been a while since I've been to a Chuy's and came here with my family for dinner. As always, the decor is awesome and the food is so good. I got tacos, a classic but delicious. I really love a good dip that pairs well with chips and boy oh boy, have I found the way to my heart. This was love at first site, hello jalapeño dip. The chips that are served are not only thin and crispy, but warm and salty too. They pair so well with this famous jalapeño dip and fresh garden salsa. When you see a fresh tomato salsa that is a little bubbly you know it's because it was just mixed and it's ultimately fresh as it gets. I loved the dip so much, I took a big 32oz jug of it home with me! I've dipped everything but the kitchen sink in it and it taste just as good with every passing day. I will be going back to get a refill on my soon to be empty jug and take this dip to parties and game nights in the future. read more

The salsa, queso and spicy cream dip served with the chips were fantastic (and made fresh on site.) Really great Tex-Mex food!!! When craving a burrito, I usually prefer something way more authentic than Chuy's. But when I want a decent burrito that is quick and easy to order online for pickup, Chuy's is hard to beat. Every time I order from Chuy's, I try a different burrito and sauce. This time I tried the Steak Burrito with Green Chile because the description was that it is " A legendary hangover cure" and I wanted something to help get me over the Monday blues. It was delicious, but they mean hot when they say hot. I was sweating halfway through my burrito. The chips at Chuy's along with the creamy jalapeño dip are my one go-to for every order. The chips are thin and crispy like no other tortilla chip I've ever had and the creamy jalapeño sauce is what dreams are made of. Seriously. I dream of it. Try it. read more

I've been going to Chuy's since they opened, but I am finally done. The food is abismal now. Margaritas cost more than the food. Our last meal was the final straw. My soft tacos were so thin that my finger poked through. I ordered one chicken and one steak and they were both more onions than anything else. Rice was cold. Hubby wanted a combo of hard and soft tacos and was told they could not do that. Tacos were soggy from grease from ground beef. The last time I ordered the flautas, they were filled with chicken mush instead of shredded chicken. When I questioned, I was told it they were always made that way. Chuy's was my go to tex-mex restaurant, but no more. We won't be back. read more

The worst service I have ever had in my 52 yrs on this earth! My sister and I ordered our food and specified that we wanted NO lettuce on any of our food! Both of us have had surgeries that don't allow us to digest lettuce. That being said got our food it was full of cooked lettuce "nasty" and raw lettuce! Told our server she didn't understand and sent over the manager she took our orders and once again we got our food with lettuce! Server comes over and we let her know our food wasn't right. In the midst of all of this no one asked us would we like more chips or another beverage. So the server takes our food in the back the manager brings the same food back!! Yes!! This happened! She wouldn't take no for an answer!! We explained we couldn't eat lettuce 2 more times to make ourselves clear and we told them we didn't want our food and she wouldn't take NO. So I asked for the check and she said would you like another drink. Well NO But 30 minutes ago would've been nice! 40 bucks for nothing. Never and I mean never have I had someone take my food in the back and then hand it off to another person to bring it back to us. Who knows what they did to it while they had it back there. I will never EVER be back!!! It's a shame because they didn't give a s**t at all how long it took or how wrong our food was. Customer is definitely not their strong suit that's for sure! In the search for some good Mexican food I found Chuys. While not authentic it definitely has a place. If you have those cravings for greasy enchiladas and slushed out margarita with some spicy chips and salsa this is your spot. While everything is opening back up you cannot sit at the bar, it is my favorite spot to sit and eat all the calories. I recommend the flautas and trying their queso.
