Located at the Stonewood Center (Firestone and Lakewood Blvd), this restaurant offers a spacious, organized layout with plenty of free parking. I visited with a party of 20 for a birthday celebration; we had reservations and were seated in a semi-private section for a buffet dinner from 7 PM to 9 PM.  While the food, beef and chicken fajitas, rice, beans, and salad was tasty, the service was a bit slow. Despite having a large group, we only had one server, which made getting drink refills difficult, especially odd since we were serving ourselves at the buffet. I also found it strange that we weren't allowed to take any of our leftovers home. On the plus side, the Saturday night atmosphere is great, with a DJ in the adjacent bar area. Overall, it was a solid visit, but the service for large groups could definitely be improved.

Came here for Happy Hour which was recommended for me to try out, since I had no idea about it. Order the BIRRIA TACOS which surprisingly they were actually good (even though they give you a little cup of consome). Next thing were the CHICKEN TAQUITOS, eh, didn't care for them much, no me they were nothing to brag about. Another item I got were the CARNE ASADA FRIES, same thing, nothing to brag about, I've had better. Moving on to drinks, I ordered the MARGARITA FLIGHT & ACAPULCO BREEZE, both were actually pretty good, but if I had to choose, it would be the Margarita Flight. Forgot our servers name but she was very attentive. Female with big frame glasses.

I attended another retirement party in this location. Our office usually plans the retirement parties in this location because of the menu and all you can eat buffet. Food was great. I got chicken tacos, salad and pasta. Everything that I got was good. Food was fresh and tasted good. No complaints about the food. Our server was very attentive and friendly. He kept checking on us and refilling our water/ drinks. I will be back for sure for the buffet and drinks.

First time here for brunch and was such a lovely experience. We had reservations and was seated shortly after. We had the best waiter JUAN H.. he was attentive and full of good energy. I will be back for sure!

Good Happy Hour prices, and surprisingly full portions. Will have to return for the scewers. Friendly service. Had to update review. Accidentally left my wallet with 200$ cash. Was told it was turned in by an EMPLOYEE. picked up the wallet... Cash was mysteriously gone.

I came to Acapulco on a Wednesday evening in March to celebrate my birthday. Since I love tacos and margaritas, this seemed like the perfect spot--and it didn't disappoint. We sat in the cantina area for happy hour and caught the Laker game, which added to the fun atmosphere. I ordered the margarita flight, and it was delicious--definitely had me feeling a little buzzed (don't judge me!). Service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive. For food, I had the carne asada tacos--one hard shell, one soft. Both were tasty and satisfying. My friend went with the birria tacos and enjoyed them as well. To top things off, I had flan for dessert. Great drinks, good food, solid service, and a fun vibe. I'll definitely be back!

We do not have any near me so when I saw this location I had to check it out. Chips and salsa as always were fresh. Food portions were a good size. The chicken and rice were delicious. Service was awesome!!!! I will definitely be back.

Came here for Sunday brunch and had a great time overall! Our waiter, Luis Miguel, was excellent -- super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His service definitely stood out and made our visit more enjoyable. The taco stand was a nice touch, although the chef (a Hispanic lady) didn't seem to be in the best mood. That said, she still did her job efficiently and the tacos were tasty, so no complaints on the food! Acapulco is a solid spot for a relaxing Sunday brunch -- good vibes, decent selection, and great service (especially if you're lucky enough to have Luis Miguel as your server). Would come back again!

Still, I appreciated being out with friends. One thing I really liked was the hamburger stand behind the bar--the guy working it was super nice, which made the experience even better. As with any dive bar, there's always some interesting people-watching, and this night definitely delivered. At one point, an angry wife came in yelling at her husband... so yeah, never a dull moment.I was also kind of impressed with myself for staying out that late. Usually I don't, but this time I did--and I did it as the sober driver. There's always something fascinating about being the one who stays clear-headed and gets everyone home safely. Last night, that was me, and honestly, I was really proud of that.Overall, it was definitely a night to remember.

Just a couple of weeks ago, my friends and I were considering our options for where to have brunch to celebrate one of our friend's retirement. Toast was one of the names I dropped in the metaphorical hat, and it won the vote of a few. My friends were surprised that I had named a spot I hadn't yet tried since I'm usually the "foodie" of the group. However, another girl in the group who had been here before vouched for it. I'm glad I finally got to try this place this past weekend, and I cannot wait to return! There were so many things on their menu that I wanted to try. A couple of the ladies ordered green chilaquiles, the friend we were celebrating ordered the Spanish Omelet, another woman I'd met that day had the bacon and eggs, another one ordered the Biscuits and grave with a side of bacon that looked perfectly crispy. I wish I had taken pictures of the plates as it all looked so lovely! I didn't even take a picture of my own food haha. I had my eyes on an omelet, one of the Benedicts or the Chicken n Waffle. In the end, the chicken and waffle won. It comes served with a little container of maple syrup with bacon pieces. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waffle was delicious, though I did request for some extra syrup on the side. To drink, a few ladies ordered mimosas, one ordered an iced caramel coffee, and I ordered the Carajillo. I fell in love with this drink last summer in Mexico and do not often see it on the menu. I love the subtle citrus notes the Licor 43 adds to this espresso drink. It is very similar to an espresso martini, and theirs comes topped with a toasted marshmallow. I honestly wanted to try almost every item in their Tipsy Barista section of their drinks. I'll just have to come back that many more times :) Plenty of parking in the mall lot. It does get pretty packed during peak hours. Fortunately I had called ahead to put our group of 6 down. We went in on Saturday around 11:30. It slowed down a bit while we were eating, but started to get busy again after 1. Otherwise, we might have been forced to honor their 90-minute rule. All in all, a great experience from everyone in our group. No complaints on the wait, service or food. That certainly deserves a toast. Great job, Toast!

The place comfy, the ambience is dark and bar-like, the drink vibes look chill, I have no complaints about the service. The service was good and the staff was nice. All this makes the steak disappointment that much worse for me. We ordered Ribeye and Shrimp Salmon Lobster Mac and Cheese Asparagus Lobster Roll (Sushi) A drink from the bar The Steak.. The steak came served on a cast-iron skillet. I ordered it medium-well. It arrived a little more medium than usual, but that was not an issue. What disappointed me was the puddle the steak was sitting in. Traditionally said puddle is a mixture of butter, thyme, and whatever seasonings you used on the steak when cooking it. In this case, that puddle was flavorless. It really tasted like the steak was just sitting in a flavorless oil. The steak was very bland, very difficult to think someone could send out a piece of meat out like that, especially when you find out what it costs. It was not worth it and not worth the final tab unfortunately. Really wanted to find a steak W for Downey but I don't see myself being interested in this place again.
