    Great Friday live music
    Fel E.

Wow wow and more wow , this place is really nice , not only you start off with great parking , but I went on a Friday and and they had a great group , I think group was Caña brava , they played really good quality Latin music , remember I said Latin music , not Banda or Mexican music , we talking good cumbias , merengues, salsas , bachata . Food is decent and prices on food not that bad , still prices on cocktails is little pricy , that's why I didn't put 5 stars ... other than that I highly recommended this place

I called the Palms on 2/28/19 & their VM picked up. Never received a call back. I stopped by the same day to make a reservation and the place was closed down. A notice was posted under new ownership. When will The Palms re-open?

Hi there, I recently came across this place about a month ago and was three weeks ago; I don't know if it was closed prior to that, but it is open and running as usual.

Everybody was to the nines in their attire. The hostess was so friendly and welcoming. She sat us on a high table in the outside patio area. We didn't even have reservations but she still managed to make it happen. Our server was great (Migel) as well throughout the whole night he had about like maybe six or eight tables still managed to serve our table in an orderly manner, orders take drink orders and maintain it throughout the whole time we were there for dinner. Food here is so next level... The beautiful cuisine to match, so so delicious. Latin flare is alive and well here they had a live band from Miami. It was a cherry on top. It was PERFECT Definitely will be saving this place for future visits when in the area! Great food, service impeccable, and establishment clean, and well presented. Thanks for all make this place special. We enjoyed ourselves me and my family.thank you Migel for making it great.

Ive taken so many people here and would bring my abuela and mother here for their birthdays and mother's day. There must be some things going on with management because its really losing its touch in several aspects. The drink menu has been cut in half with the remaining drinks not tasting the same if you ordered them a year or two ago. They've really cut back on presentation as well. Pina colada used to be served with a separate shot of the rum it's made with but i havent seen that in a while. The food is beginning to lack in bit of flavor unfortunately. I've been trying to order the pollo guisado for a year and last night was finally told its been removed from the menu although its still there. I've noticed they don't serve you plantain chips and garlic sauce on arrival anymore, used to be immediate but now its only if you ask. It just doesn't feel the same and its so unfortunate.this place has a lot of charm and still has potential but I feel as if its slipping for some reason. I really hope this place picks up.

They offer free water outside while you wait in line and you can grab a paper menu from the host at the door to look at while you wait. We maybe waited 45 minutes. Once you make it inside there is another short line inside of the food hall. After you order, you are then given a number and you can seat yourself at a table inside or out. We ordered the large guacamole and chips, the smoked kanapachi tostada, kanapachi taco, camarones al mojo, filete el carbon, erizo sea urchin ,and sparkling lemonades. The seafood is insanely fresh. The ceviche is incredible. The branzino was tender. The guacamole was expertly made with both the acidity and seasonings well balanced. The lemonades were ok. The black beans were cooked well. Hoblox does a great job of presenting items you have likely had before but elevating them in an intriguing way. I can't wait to have an excuse to go back.

Wow... Holbox absolutely lived up to the hype…read more From the incredible salsas to the fresh handmade tortillas, every bite was packed with flavor. My favorite dish was the Kanpachi Collar, which came with rice, beans, fresh tortillas, pickled onions, and three generous pieces of perfectly cooked collar. Building each taco yourself made the experience even more fun, and the combination of the smoky fish, creamy beans, fluffy rice, tangy onions, and fresh tortillas was phenomenal. Another standout was the Scallop Aguachile. The portion of scallops was surprisingly generous, and the bright, tart sauce complemented the sweetness of the scallops perfectly. Easily one of the best aguachiles I've had. My fiancé ordered the seafood soup, and it was just as impressive. It was loaded with fish and shellfish, making it feel well worth the price. Yes, the line was long, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, constantly clearing finished plates and checking in to see if we needed anything else. Even though Holbox is located inside a food hall, it somehow creates the feeling of dining at a standalone restaurant. The open kitchen, the smell of fresh seafood cooking, and the constant buzz of happy diners give the space an energetic yet welcoming atmosphere. It feels casual enough for a quick lunch but special enough for a memorable meal. I already can't wait to come back and experience the chef's tasting menu. If this was my first visit, I can only imagine how amazing the rest of the menu is.

Upon first bite, I did not like the carne. IMO I don't like bell pepper and that's the first thing I tasted, so that overpowered my palate from being to taste the carne. My boyfriend however enjoyed it. He said it had good flavor and was tasty. We then tried the jamon y queso. My favorite of the 3 we tried and probably the only one I ate. I like ham and I like cheese so I enjoyed it. Since this was the only one I liked, my boyfriend let me eat all of this (since we were splitting it). I like the saltiness you get from the ham and the texture of the melted cheese makes the empanada melt in your mouth. I did not like the elote. I was expecting something different. And again I tasted bell pepper. My boyfriend ate this one. He said he likes how it had a lot of corn and there was some type of sauce inside that brought of the flavor which he enjoyed. The ambiance of where this is located is cool. It's located in the Steel Craft and we were there for the game so it has a great atmosphere.

My wife and I went to El Molinito restaurant in Pico Rivera just across the street from Walmart. This our first time trying Colombian cuisine,I have eaten Colombian cuisine before I enjoy the flavors and depth of flavor of the food. We're greeted by the owner of the restaurant she told us we can sit anywhere in the restaurant and we did find a table. She came and hand us the menu then she our drinks order we both order coffee. The restaurant is very nice e cozy little restaurant of full of Colombian adornments that you feel you are in Colombia. We both decided to order the Huevos Pericos it's scramble eggs Colombian style it comes with rice and Arepa with cheese. It's like a Salvadoran Pupusa but Colombian version of the pupusa. The waitress brought our meal it looks so good and delicious and the aroma was overwhelming from the Arepa and the Huevos Pericos or scrambled eggs. I try the scramble eggs they so good incredible flavors in the egg including the other ingredients like the tomatoes and onions and spices they use in the egg they were fluffy and good. The rice was amazing it have good flavor in the rice and fluffy that we enjoy. The Arepa was so good like a pupusa but cheesy that I really like including the cheese they use in Arepa. Overall we enjoy the food at the El Molinito restaurant, we come back again and try different items from their menu.
