I was completing a very significant application for citizenship in another country and came to accelerated postal for help taking photos as well as printing and sending off my final package. I went here because it came up as the only place in Vancouver that does Canadian photos, as the requirement is very specific. The female employee was very helpful and pleasant to work with as I spent several hours there printing off documents in color as I was putting my packet of documents together in order to get them shipped out that day. After my photo was printed the lady wrote the date on the back of the photo, as required, in gel pen, which led it to smudge terribly. I brought that to her attention that they were very particular in the application process. I don't want to wait 8 months for my application for it to come back denied because they didn't use the correct pen. The lady agreed with me and reprinted the photos. She reprinted them again and then proceeds to use another gel like pen that created the same outcome- a smudged up date on the back. I said "it's doing it again.." Bryan, the manager, was within ear shot, listening to all of this, comes over behind the counter and says "what's going on...?" Lady worker says- "the pen keeps smudging-" He takes the photos, uses an alcohol wipe to take the gel ink off and begrudgingly writes the date in a sloppy manner, leaving tiny smudges of the old ink on the photo front and around the edge of the photo. Thanks? Meanwhile I had requested them to print a color photo of a receipt, she prints in grayscale, I asked for a printed copy of my drivers license and passport together in color- she makes the copy but the two pieces of ID are overlapping each other and part of my drivers license was cut off. I simply asked them to reprint these as those would most likely be denied causing my whole application to be returned. Bryan seemed to be annoyed with providing customer service as I asked him questions about needing to sign the back of my photos just to clarify. Instead of being kind and reassuring he was snarky and said "I've done 500 of these" I know what I am doing kind of thing...then he almost throws away the old UPS envelope that I brought in. The lady said they didn't have big enough envelopes so we had to ship it in the old one... I said "we need that envelope- you don't have the right size." Bryan, gets the envelope out of the garbage can and then begins to put my documents inside. I was watching him doing it and making sure was all good. Instead of a "thanks for coming in, you are all set..." he says rudely "we are all done here....you have your tracking receipt...." I turn around and leave "okay thanks..." I'm not sure why he was so annoyed but I must have hurt his fragile male ego. I don't recommend this place, make the drive to Portland. read more

I requested a certified letter because I needed a confirmation signature that the receiver received my letter. However, a certified letter does not include a signature, it only comes with a tracking number. My bad, next I will become an expert on all the mailing terms so that my legal document remains a legal document. read more

I'm a new mailbox renter here and I already love the place. I went in at closing time and the man working was so welcoming. He explained my options, why I might want one size vs another, let me choose my actual box which is a first for me and much appreciated. He told me all about using my box, using the access key, how to get and send packages there, use of the computers and other services there - it was just an amazing level of customer service for a first encounter. This is a smaller shop but it offers lots of shipping options and office services along with the mailbox rentals. read more

A wonderful, family owned spot with great prices, customized printing, fast processing for returns. It looks like they even have real street address mailboxes for those who need one. I was driven to write a review of Accelerated Postal after reading some of the reviews on here that seemed pretty ridiculous. Bryan and Jasmine have always been very friendly and helpful on every occasion that I have been in. They know what they are talking about, and since they can ship with several different companies, they can give good advice about what the best way to ship a package would be. Sometimes they can get busy and there can be a bit of a wait, but it is worth waiting. Now an attempt to re-align some expectations: Jennifer V. This is a store, not missed connections on Craigslist. Steve P. Why would you think that it would cost the same cost to have a real live person do the work to ship your package as it would to create a label with your own shipping account on UPS? That doesn't make sense. Why would anyone bother to have a UPS shipping account if they could just have someone do it for them every time for the same price? Dan B. I have called Accelerated Postal on the phone before and they have answered. After reading your review I have no desire to talk to you, and I can understand why they would avoid you. I have written a letter to the DOJ requesting that you never contact me, but I have not received a reply. Also Dan B. Do you seriously expect them to read your mail to you so that you don't have to have to pay to have it forwarded or scanned? SERIOUSLY? You disgust me. read more

I've had to go get my fingerprints done for my job....it got rejected TWICE by the state and it was done by the same guy. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else if you need fingerprints done. read more

The red haired guy at the counter was dismissive and cold, acted like my presence was an annoyance, never smiled or even made eye contact. Luckily, the girl doing the fingerprinting was personable. I've had a mailbox here for a while and am very satisfied. Accelerated Postal isn't your average mailbox store. They provide you with a key fob for after hours access which makes it easy to access my box after hours without having to physically insert a key to obtain access to the store. They've got computers located in the after hours mailbox area that can be used to get online which is a first as far as I know. These high tech innovations give me a sense that the owner is security conscious and also has a grasp of technology which most mailbox stores lack. Overall I highly recommend Accelerated Postal. read more

Brian Andrews quit answering answering the phone about two months ago. Both Brian and his staff refuse to forward my mail, and for reasons unknown. Towards the end of the summer, he mailed me a revised rate sheet indicating customers are only allowed to call 3 times per year. However, the evidence suggest he doesn't allow anyone to call. Additionally he won't scan the mail. I sent an email to his store, and received a response, indicating to look at their rate sheet. I have asked for my money back, and mailed a certified letter to the address on file that Brian Andrews filed with the Department of Licensing, but USPS indicates the address is not deliverable, and the keys are being returned. I have since sent a fax to Brian Andrews store, but not response. I recommend avoiding this place for mail service. Easily the worst mail service I have ever had. read more

I checked a package via UPS to see how much it would be to just slap a label on and drop it off. It was $49. When I took it there, they quoted me at $69.84. When I asked about why it was cheaper, the woman said that I looked at business class. Nope. She straight LIED. I sent it for $49.00 when I got home. I needed some color copies on card stock (I had my own card stock). I called ahead to compare prices and Accelerated Postal & Print was $0.10 cheaper per copy than FedEx and Postal Annex. They were friendly and helpful. One of the employees was still learning the machine though, so it took slightly longer while she asked for help, but it was worth it for the nice customer service. read more
