Sunday night, my eight-year-old son fell and fractured his arm. As parents, my wife and I were very concerned, and my wife brought him to Accelerated Urgent Care on Coffee for x-rays. Previously, we had good experiences at this location, and that is why we chose it on this occasion. After x-rays, my wife was very upset because of the extremely rude demeanor and behavior of the NP. English is my wife's second language, so she asked the NP to repeat and explain several times. However, the NP was extremely impatient, stating multiple times that she "already told you," even pointing her finger at my wife in an aggressive way. This went on for a couple of minutes. My wife asked multiple times if my son should have a soft cast, and the NP rudely said no because urgent care was just a temporary, short-term solution until going to a doctor or hospital. Later, a friend of ours told us that when she fractured her elbow two weeks ago, she went to Accelerated Urgent Care, and she got a soft cast. And when we went to the specialist, the doctor said he should have been given a soft cast. So I'm wondering the reason for the terrible attitude AND the malpractice. When the NP was heading out the door after talking to my wife, my wife heard the NP say "Oh my gosh!" ---clearly in response to her interaction with my wife. When my wife came home, she was even more upset because of the NP's behavior. read more

I had an appointment to come in and apparently at 12:30 is the provider's lunchtime so I had to wait an hour and 30 minutes later. I still have not been called back to go and see a provider. All the staff had to say is there's one provider and there's nothing they can do. I don't understand why you can make appointments for a time that doesn't work in order to be seen. You should not wait an hour and a half after your appointment and still not be seen. read more

I had the pleasure of seeing a nurse practitioner recently(Oct 4, 2025), though I can't remember his name. He was absolutely amazing. He really took the time to listen to me and understand the pain I've been experiencing in both of my feet. He thoroughly examined my feet, explained exactly why I was feeling the way I was, and outlined a clear plan of action with steps to take moving forward. I've never had a nurse practitioner take the time or care like he did. He was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly helpful, and I could tell he genuinely cared about my well-being. I would leave a 0 star if I could the accelerated urgent cares suck! This place misdiagnosed my 2 year old daughter saying she had the flu and tried to give us tamiflu which is disgusting and hard for children to take and she doesn't need it. Also checked both ears and said one was slightly red when we had the checked at her primary doctor they said they were both beaming red! Another time I went and my other daughter was 4 and had nursemaids elbow and one of the doctors at accelerated was trying to pop her arm back in for about 10 minutes pretty much torturing my daughter and we didn't know but it only takes about 2 seconds at the hospital when someone knows what there doing. These people at this urgent care are very uneducated and should not be doing what they are doing! I called in to verify that they accepted our insurance. I gave them my husbands insurance info and no. and after a wait I was told they accepted our insurance. So I took my husband in to get his knee examined from a fall he had taken. When we arrived and started the process of checking in , we were then told they do not take our Insurance. They told us to go too BFMC. BFMC told us they dont take our insurance either, but they printed a list of places that did take our insurance. We finally found help, but what trouble we had because of someone at Accelerated urgent care giving us the wrong info. Think before you speak please, its someone elses pain. read more

The check in associates are amazing. Dr. Chavez was having a huge argument with an investor and he told him it was just better to rip off the bandaid so he could move forward. NOT two minutes later he walked in my room , asked me what my issue was. I explained my problems. He saw my fentenal patch and then became imediatly annoyed with me. He didn't read my information, when I explained I needed Benadryl before the injection. Then he proceeded to YELL at me saying I am not going to tell him what to do. I asked him if he read my chart? He walked out of the room. A male assistant came in the room , with a female and asked if I minded that she stay in the room? I explained it's the LAW a woman be in the room if a woman has to drop her pants. He then asked if I have any allergies? I'm like once again did you read my chart? Answer no and he became to be a little nasty and irate. Yes I have stage 4 cancer, yes I know all the bloody proceedures and how to handle them. I was seen today by Armando Alvarez (as stated on the note they sent me home with). He didn't introduce himself or state his title. Is he an MD, NP, PA? His title is also not stated after his name on the note I was sent home with. Is he licensed to treat patients? On the note he sent me home with, he stated that I'm on azithromycin, ibuprofen and promethazine. I am NOT on any of those medications. He even put that I'm on oral contraceptive pills. I told him during the visit that I am currently pregnant. Why would I be on oral contraception? His note does not make any sense. Armando Alvarez never asked me what medications I'm taking so I have no idea how he came up with this list of medications. Is it from a different patient's chart? My husband and I are both nurse practitioners ( both of us are former ICU RNs) and never have we seen such terrible bedside manner and lack of professionalism from our combined 20 years in the healthcare field. I came in for intense pruritic hives on my bilateral lower extremities. He did not try to rule out intrahepatic cholastasis of pregnancy. He did not even consider PUPPP rash. He did not even consider trying to rule anything out. It states on the notes that he examined me. He has notes under neurological, ENT, Respiratory, GI, Musculoskeletal, and Skin. He did not examine me. He was in the room for not even 5 minutes and left. He did not give me any advise on how to address my symptoms nor did he prescribe me anything to help relieve my symptoms. We did not get any answers on what he thinks caused this. Waste of our time and money. We should've gone to a different urgent care. If I could give Accelerated Urgent Care zero stars, I would. They need to hire better, more qualified, professional providers. read more

A few days after Easter, I took a hard fall and dislocated my L-hip, unbeknownst to me due to ER morphine, I had also injured my R-wrist. 4 days later, Instead of going back to the ER, I opted for Accelerated UC. After paper-work, ccPayment, and an hour in an empty Waiting Room, a tech called me for an x-ray, I was instructed to remain in the Waiting Area until the results were read. Another Hour, and I was told, "I suffered a Sprain, with no fractures". I've had enough sprains in my life to know their diagnosis wasn't right. Especially since taking strong pain meds wasn't enough to aleiviate the tremendous constant throbbing, and an unusual anxiety. 2wks later I consulted my Pain Management Physician, who ordered an MRI. another 4 daysI accessed my MRI results on-line, 4 days the fist Coronal cntr wrist thumbnal image I chose to expand displayed a huge crack that didn't take a Doctor (I) to Determine The results were conclusive by the radiologist, (nondisplaced fracture of distal radial metaphysis) So, in conclusion: If Accelerated Urgent Care can't correctly diagnose A Broken Wrist, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING . Update: Despite advertising on their website that they take my insurance, they being billed as out of network. I was charged for a 45 to 59 minute appointment despite being seen for 10 minutes and not even in the back room area from vitals to exiting the building for more than 20. No prescriptions or tests were done that would involved longer process or charting after me leaving. They also surcharged me extra money for it being a night or weekend appointment......which is the LITERAL reason urgent care exists and no urgent care has ever charged me for these things as extras? So extra hidden fees here just because they feel they can and should. $350 (more than a lawyer per hour cost us) for 10 minutes (that's me being generous) and complete dissatisfaction. I went ahead and filed on their website a request for contact 2 times to request an itemized bill because I'd like to know what medical billing code was used specifically and why, and also wrote I'd like to discuss my dissatisfaction with my doctor at the visit. It's been several weeks and nobody has contacted me back and there's no other way to contact the business on their website "directly", nor did the manager using yelp message me directly to see what I'd like to discuss. I paid my bill because they automatically withdraw it, which is another thing not typical as most urgent cares will send you a bill in the mail. Not a fan of this because I'd prefer to use a different payment form knowing it's not covered now, but couldn't get anyone to respond to my inquiries at all. Don't let the acknowledgement of my review and invitation to discuss it by the owner fool you into thinking he cares or this is a one off and they are willing to communicate and improve! I arrived at the clinic minutes after opening time and by 4pm, I was still chasing after the narcissistic doctor for my medication. I didn't have any symptoms, but I wanted to be sure because I was worried about my boyfriend who has a lower immune system. I had put it off because another co-worker said she waited four hours in line, wasn't allowed to wait in her car .... I also heard that it hurt a little as well as it was very uncomfortable. I'm a wuss with pain. And I've even fainted when getting a flu shot. I really wanted to know, so I came prepared for a wait - brought stuff to do, and a positive attitude. I had a very different experience there. I felt everyone was very kind. My wait was about 2 1/2 hours. There was not a crowd. I sat comfortably on a couch that was appropriately socially distanced from the other couches. I inquired about the type of tests they had because I didn't want to wait a long time. They didn't have the one day or instant test, but they did have in addition the test for the anitibodies - a blood test, so I got that too. I'm glad I asked. Anyway, YES, the test was really uncomfortable, surprisingly so, but I can't see it hurt a lot. The blood test for the antibodies was okay. I know not to watch the needle go inside of me now. lol... I was told that the test results was from 5 to 7 days. The only reason why I didn't give a five star was the difficulty in getting my results. On the 4th day I received a call from Urgent Care, which made me anxious as they didn't leave a message. I called back four times that afternoon and then again four times the next day, and never was able to get through to anyone, nor was a call returned when I finally got through. I took a suggestion from some of the other reviewers to call the Brimhall facility. They gave me a telephone number to get my results (661) 246-3535. I called that number, had to wait about 20 minutes but finally got through and GOT MY RESULTS. Yes, by giving them my DOB and the day I tested (11 days before) they checked the results had indeed come in, and provided them to me. Who ever I spoke to said if I wanted written confirmation, I would need to physically go down to the clinic. She denied there was an app / Quest on which I could check. Anyway, not really knowing about something like Covid / being kept in the air, is understandably freaking people out. It seems as if the clinic has been reading the comments and is trying to be responsive to getting the results out to patients more quickly. They might want to try hiring a few more people - another to help answer calls, and one to call patients as soon as the results come in. Or at least tell the doctors to not give patients an expectation they will receive the results in 5 days to a week when it likely is not going to happen. Be safe everyone .... read more

FALSE COVID RESULTS. I tested June 30th. Received my results July 10th. I was told over the phone that my results came back negative. I download the Quest app on my phone to just double check and VISUALLY see my results because they only tell you your results over the phone & AUC doesnt give you paperwork. I received a notification on the app June 14th saying my test came out positive. I visited the AUC in person because they NEVER answer the phones. I told them to confirm my results. They took me and my boyfriend to a room to let us know that a new employee in training "Julissa" (at the Coffee Rd. location) gave me the wrong results & misread the results. How on earth do you get the wording mixed up when it clearly says "DETECTED". I'm probably 1 of hundreds of people that she got the "wording mixed up" on. My boyfriend was also given the wrong results by the same employee. My boyfriend didn't believe his negative results and had gotten retested July 10th. The doctor that saw him told him it was "pointless to retake a test when it's just going to come out negative again". The doctor blamed "anxiety" the symptoms my boyfriend was having. My boyfriend still demanded a COVID test. What do you know... When I went in July 14th to confirm my results, not only did they have his latest results already ready (idk why they take 10 days to call us for an update) but his 2nd test came out positive too. PLEASE be cautious about AUC. This was a ridiculous mistake and them being a location that's giving false negatives is probably why this virus keeps spreading. read more

This is for the Telemedicine (over the phone appointments). I never like going into Urgent Care or ER. It's just asking for bad treatment and long wait times. I was suffering from a bladder infection, so I could hardly leave the house , TMI? Whatever you're gonna get it. Lol Anyway, I scheduled a Telemedicine appointment. The provider was on time and got me my much needed antibiotics to my pharmacy! Never had to leave the house! It was super helpful and easy. The only thing that is a bit confusing is navigating the site to register for a Telemedicine appointment. I highly recommend the TELEMEDICINE for issues like the one I was having. read more

Another location used to be my go-to, but after they couldn't treat me for "the C" last summer, I was sent here. 8/2021 - Without going into too much personal detail, I was impressed by the efficiency of them diagnosing us with Covid and having us come back in 24-48 hours for follow up. When we came back, we had not improved and were transported to the hospital. The ambulance was refusing to transport me and Dr. Chavez advocated so hard for them to take me. I don't remember a lot during these few weeks, but I remember asking everyone to stop yelling and about passed out. Had the physician not advocated so hard for me, I honestly might not have recovered so well in the hospital. I couldn't actively advocate for myself because I was so loopy from the high fever and I will always be grateful that he did that on my behalf. We did have a less than positive experience here, but that was because testing sites were inundated with people needing tests. We were told it would be a 4 hour wait at 7:00 at night! Overall, I have nothing negative to say about this location. In fact, their larger facility seems to provide more on-site services. The staff is efficient. I don't like waiting in my car, sure, but personally I've never experienced anything negative. read more

Do not go here Dr. A Chavez screamed at me that I give him anxiety and that he will not be treating me and looking at me gave him anxiety. I was there the day before with another Doctor and had x-rays and ended up having severe pneumonia. The nice doctor the day before had put a plan into place that I would come for three days and get a shot in my bottom and hopefully get better if I did not, then I would need to be hospitalized.. I showed up on the second day to just come and get my shot it was very hard as I am very sick so getting there would be challenging for me physically but I knew I had to do it. I did not want to be hospitalized and wanted to try anything. Showed up for my 2nd appointment and After getting my stats done, I was brought back into the room. I I needed to use the restroom and left for a few minutes. My husband informed me that someone had came in looking for me so I poked my head out of the room and said hi I'm back in here. The doctor said oh well that is me I'm coming. I said OK thank you I'm here to get a shot today. as he's walking down the hall, he looks at me and start screaming telling me that I am not going to tell him what he is going to do and just starts being awful and screaming . I said I don't understand what is happening. I would have just went to the hospital if and he stops me there and says then just go to the hospital looking at you gives me anxiety and I am not gonna treat you. The doctor yesterday is not your doctor today I am and started telling me I give him Anxiety this has all happened without even stepping into the room. I just started crying I couldn't believe what he was saying ? My looks gave him anxiety? Yes I have tattoos and Red hair so I knew he was judging me but I am human I am a person I'm paying for my Dr visit like anyone else. I had been extremely sick for many days and was so hopeful the day before after getting x-rays with the other doctor of a plan of care then to find out these doctors, do not work together in any way shape or form and he did not care what the other doctor had wanted. No human should ever have been treated like this especially feeling Sick. I let him know on the way out that he should not be telling patients they give the Dr anxiety that sounds like the Dr is not a professional and has come to work in a mental state. That has to be a liability for anybody coming to get care into this place. I left in tears and not being able to breathe not only from having pneumonia, but from having a full-blown anxiety attack at this doctor had given me. I know that I am not the only person this Dr has snapped mentally on and I pray if you read this please speak up? This company also will not, and says they are not allowed to give any phone numbers in any way to supervisors or high ups for any type of complaints on the doctors in any way?
