One of the best mom and pop health stores you'll ever come across. Lately I've been stopping by to get some protein drinks because this place is always stocked with some solid offerings and at honest prices. We're talking $4 for a 40g protein shake that you can realistically consume in two separate servings. Today I stopped in for another protein drink after reffing a few hours of peewees basketball at the local rec center. I needed a drink ya feel meh, BUT today my intention was different as I told myself I'd be scouting the protein bar section as I've never looked there before and BOOM. This place has like 6 or 7 flavors of Lenny and Larry cookies which is a ton of variety even compared to Trader Joe's and Sprouts. I bought the snickerdoodle cookie for $2 and the flavor on it was scrumptious. Definitely a must try, but leave some for me y'all Not to mention they carry Bio-k+ probiotics which is pretty cool as it's one of the most highly touted probiotic drinks on the market! Generally a good place with competitive pricing on a variety of supplements. However, I am frustrated that their published weekday hours of operation show them closing at 8 PM when, in fact, they close at 6 PM. I drive all the way from the north valley after work (the prices were worth the gas) and they were closed. Normally I come on weekends, but these hours don't accommodate the classic work schedule of a typical shopper for weekday purposes. read more

My favorite go-to place for an array of discounted herbal and health products. The place is "always" so helpful. So knowledgeable and if one person does not know, they refer to another person who is... knowledgeable. Such an array of products to choose from, including tinctures and liquid herbal supplements and all the vitamins. They also carry soaps and other beauty products [not make-up] They also carry packaged cooking and baking items, flours, grains, etc... et al. It's a rather quaint small store and the place is packed with all types of goodies, as much as they can pack into a small place. But they seem to have "everything" one needs. Bad customer service. Please be aware once you buy something from this store there is no return or exchange. Most of their products are old. Great place which continues to help me by mailing supplements at a fair price.

I've been going there since 2011. I trust Martin more than any doctor. Few times he didn't know, but every time he knew, whatever he suggested helped and quickly. For example, I had a bronchitis and took antibiotics. It got better, but every few weeks my throat would be sore again. Martin suggested anti-V and something for the immune system and I am fine. I wish I wouldn't take antibiotics, that only made me weak. Also my dad had a prostate tumor 185 gram. I sent him (he lives in Israel) whatever Martin suggested and it shrinked to 100gram! read more

Can't tell you how many times I've driven by this place before I finally took a chance and went in. From the outside it looks like a junk vitamin store, but once inside you will find a really good selection of quality vitamins such as Nutricology, Life Extension, Mutagenic, Thorne Labs Research, Premier Labs Research (Dr. Marshall's brand) and they will also order most things that they don't carry. There is a good selection of herbs and homeopathic remedies, health books, food grade h202, coffee enema supplies, etc. They also carry a brand of kombucha that I LOVE and very rarely find elsewhere. Best of all, they have great hours, being closed only on Sundays (for church!) The prices are extremely reasonable and there are often sales and discounts.
