Local coffee shop with lots of fun & unique flavors! Seems like a great place for matcha or coffee, based on observing other people's drinks while I was inside. Good space inside, tables are spaced nicely apart. Feels like a comfortable spot to come and do some work. Easy parking outside too, there's a lot. I ordered an iced banana latte but held the cream top as I'm dairy free. I ordered mine with almond milk. It came in at almost $9, pretty steep. It was ready very soon afterwards. I thought it was okay, it had that artificial banana flavor that reminded me of some childhood candy that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe the banana laffy taffy? Anyways, it was presented nicely with a banana slice on top and if you're into banana flavor, I'm sure you'll be into this. In hindsight, I wish I ordered another flavor though. Maybe next time!
Got the strawberry milk and the strawberry bingsoo. Both were really good and super refreshing on a hot day. I also liked that neither of them was overly sweet. The inside was a lot bigger than I expected and had plenty of seating. There were also a lot of outlets, which makes it a perfect place to get some work done or catch up with friends. The service was really friendly, and parking was easy since there's a large parking lot. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area!
This is cute cafe right by CSUN! It gets quite crowded with a lot of people coming to get work done. Since it was later in the day, I got the *sunset tonic* which was aesthetically pleasing with delicious yuzu and lychee. My cousin got the *injeolmi latte* and it was quite caffeinated/strong and creamy! We shared a *banana brûlée croffle* with a yummy white cloud of mascarpone cream and carmelized banana. It was my first time here and definitely not my last! Can't wait to come back and try more things!!
Bustling place on Sunday at 2pm, short line to place order that moved quickly, but I could have used the extra time to read all drink options on the menu. The Bischoffee or Banana Latte or Corn Coffee were all very tempting but I went for my preferred drink these days Strawberry Matcha although as I stood there waiting for my drink (which quite a bit longer than my friends American) I was regretting not trying one of their insane looking coffee drinks (aka deserts). My BF said his Americano was excellent, not acidic or bitter in any way. My strawberry matcha was good, a bit too jammy, but not cloyingly sweet although the matcha itself was mildly flavored, it was highly caffeinated since it kept me from falling asleep at my regular time. If I was in the area I'd absolutely go back there again.
It was my first time at this café. I heard good things about it and I finally got over here to give it a try! Upon entering, I thought it was just such a cute set up. It's a decent size café. It was pretty busy, but I didn't feel like it was overwhelming or very loud. Definitely a nice spot to get some work done and enjoy a snack and some coffee. We did try one of the pastries, and it was pretty good. My boyfriend got the matcha strawberry latte and I got the mocha latte with oat milk. Both of these drinks were absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the flavor. This is definitely going to be added to my top few places to get coffee. They do have a pretty good size menu, including Seasonal items and other specialty items. They have them listed by the register. Customer Service was great. Those who helped us were very nice and very helpful. Café was very clean. I will definitely be back here again.
Laid back cafe with decent bingsoo and matcha. Plenty of parking next to csun. Definately wished the binsoo would have more of the drizzle and toppings for the sweetness and flavor layered into the bingsoo because once you eat it off the top, its all downhill after. Plenty of mochi though. Strawberry matcha is a bit expensive for the location and quality. The baristas were nice and friendly :)
I was truly impressed with Peak Café and I know I'm not alone because the place was packed the night we went even though it was midweek. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. And the menu had the most interesting looking selection of unusual items. I know I will be returning in order to try some of them. The reason I'm not giving Peak Cafe a perfect rating is because I went specifically to try the bingsoo. I was very excited to find a bingsoo place in the valley. However, because I was comparing it to the Bingsoo at Oakobing, I was slightly disappointed. If I had tried Peak Café first I would have loved it, however, it is very hard to beat Oakobing. All in all, I will definitely recommend Peak Cafe. A nice relaxed environment paired with an interesting menu and reasonable prices.
Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Peak Cafe and had no complaints about drinks, service, or vibes. Service was very friendly! It's a beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing space with plenty of seating and even the bathrooms were nice and definitely well-maintained. I had the Coconut Cloud with Matcha and it was perfectly refreshing. I also sampled the Biscoffee and it had a strong espresso flavor that was well complemented by the sweet cookie butter flavor. The bungeoppang was freshly prepared and well worth the $5.50 for 2; the hotteok flavor was my favorite. Overall, Peak is a wonderful space and a comfy place to study in. No wifi on Sundays though!

The matcha is rich and smooth, and the cream on top makes it the perfect balance without being overly sweet. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and it's a great place to get some work done or simply relax. If you're a matcha lover, I highly recommend giving the Matcha Einspanner a try. I always look forward to coming back!
Really great place to study and do work since they are open later than most coffee shops. They offer free wifi and there's lots of spots to sit! I ordered a Passionfruit refresher, but next time I will be trying the matcha! Service was great. The line went by very quickly even though it was a pretty busy day. I will be back!
Yes, this cafe is indeed peak. One of the best in the northridge area with such great seating and a great study space, along with great drinks and desserts. We had their corn latte and matcha latte, as well as their mango bingsoo and it was top notch! There's nothing like this place in northridge with the exception of maybe a couple coffee spots possibly. But there is no place that's honestly better. It has it all. Service is great, food and drinks are great, space and ambiance is incredible. Plenty of parking! Highly recommended!
Definitely one of the better matchas I've had. I ordered the Matcha Squared (double matcha) and loved both the flavor and the name. We stopped by on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, which is understandable given that it's in a college community. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or come solo for a drink and study session.
I just wanna take a peek.. inside and it's honestly kinda dark in there as if you're not at the PEAK of the mountain. Plenty of drink options, shaved ice that looked tasty.. I got a strawberry matcha with almond milk. Didn't really like it, kinda bland. Also note when they ask for your name they may write it down wrong and call a different name over and over again. I told her my name was shawna she wrote it down as sienna, how is that even close?? Besides that fluke, drink was made quickly for how many people were ahead of me. Plenty of seats inside does get busy since csun is near by, parking lot is super compact.

I really enjoyed this cafe. We were all craving matcha and were all very happy & satisfied with our choice in coming here! The cafe is very spacious with really friendly staff and quick service. We went on a Sunday but it seems like a great place to study during the week too. We got the mango matcha, banana matcha, and yuja matcha tonic. I thought the options in matcha were amazing and we were all impressed with the quality. The mango matcha was definitely a 10/10. It was my first time trying mango matcha and I'm so happy my first experience was here. It was amazing! I was really impressed by their cloud top and the mango pieces were really refreshing. As for the banana matcha. I'd give it a 7/10. It tasted a little bit like artificial banana but it wasn't bad. Would come back for the mango matcha and to try the matcha tonic! read more
I tried Peak for the first time and it is a really relaxing place! I can see that it's popular among students, it's quiet and spacious. I got the biscoffee and it tastes good! The cashier was really friendly and overall I had a good experience for just popping in to get a coffee before heading back to work. read more

Had to come back to Peak since I was in the area and it did not disappoint! I got the lavender earl gray matcha latte with half sweetness and it was perfect. I got the standard matcha latte last time but really enjoyed the flavored option way more - highly recommend you check out their limited time flavors! I was able to do a bit of work here - seating is a bit limited and there are few outlets, but the drinks make up for it. Would definitely be back. read more
We enjoyed our visits at Peak Cafe and glad to have found another awesome cafe in the San Fernando Valley that offers both delicious specialty coffee drinks and excellent customer service. Peak Cafe has plenty of parking spots available and also plenty of tables and chairs for dining inside. Peak Cafe has a very welcoming and open ambiance. The cashier and barista at the counter consistently provides excellent customer service whenever we stop by for coffee. Our favorites at Peak Coffee are Biscoffee, Goguma (Sweet Potata) Latte, Pumpkin Peak Spice Latte, Banana Latte, Peaked Up Latte, Matcha and Injeoimi Latte (iced). We have yet to try the other specialty coffee drinks on their menu. We are looking forward to trying them out with every visit. read more

I've been wanting to find a matcha spot in the valley and stumbled across Peak Cafe. The inside is nice and is a great study spot. It took the servers a little while to take my order, but they were busy. I found a nice spot to sit and read at while I drank my matcha. The matcha itself was on the sweeter side. I would have preferred it less sweet, but it was still good. read more
Always a 10/10 ~ service, atmosphere, restroom and food / drink execution. Peak Cafe is the only cafe in the area with a goguma (sweet potato) latte! It's currently on their seasonal menu (as of February 2026) but they should really consider adding it to their permanent menu because WOW. I haven't had a sweet potato latte in ages, and I ordered this one with matcha + oat milk, but the combination of flavors is soooo tasty! The sweetness from the sweet potato as well as the dalgona topping just works so well with the matcha. This is something I'll be returning regularly for. It's just so damn good! I came to Peak Cafe with my friends to try them out since I heard great things about them from my sister like 2 weeks ago, just forgot to write a review. We came on a weekend and arrived a little before they open so we had to wait outside. They already had a line forming so you know this is a popular place. There limited parking in front of the place but you can park in the plaza this store is in and just walk here because there more parking. The inside of the place is spacious with a lot of seating. My friend got a black coffee, another friend got the cold hazelnut latte, another friend got the sunrise tonic and I got the po chee tonic since the person working the cashier recommend it. He said it taste like Sprite I also ordered the banana brulee for my sister to go. It didn't take them long to make out drinks and we just had to pick it up at the counter. We sat inside of the place to just hang out and talk. My friends like their drinks but I didn't really like mine because of the little lynchee in the drink. It didn't really taste like Sprite in my opinion. The banana brulee when I took it home was a crowd favorite so I would recommend that. read more

Hojicha latte w oat milk - hot is prob my fav. It's perfect for the winter weather and so rich in flavor. :) I only wish they had bigger sizes. I came here on Sunday with my mom to meet with my aunt and cousin. I ordered the plant based Injeolmi latte with ice. The latte art on our drinks was very pretty and the barista was very nice. Drinks took a while to make because it was quite busy here on a Sunday afternoon. We barely found seats. I really liked the spaciousness and cheery vibes here. And look at how cute my drink was. read more
In an effort to expand my café palette more towards the northwest, I ventured into Peak Café. Entering the small plaza and parking was fairly difficult - a little tight, compact, and slopy, not the easiest for large cars. The entrance was interesting to navigate; one was blocked by a trash can. After ordering, the most visible trash can is by the exit. I had their iced latte, which was super tasty. The staff were welcoming and efficient; this latte was out in minutes! The moment I turned around, I noticed the tables, some saying technology free, and others saying laptop - encouraging that real-time human interaction! Peak Café is overall a pretty bright and relaxing café, the perfect place to reach that flow state. Wi-Fi is available, though note that it is not offered specifically on Sunday. It is nonetheless still an excellent spot for meet ups and hang outs; the tables are fairly well spaced apart, and you'll never feel claustrophobic! read more

I got the strawberry matcha and all I can say is I wish I was still enrolled at CSUN to be able to experience studying and doing homework at this place. The matcha is amazing. About 8$ for this medium cup which is pretty average price but this is where you will get the most bang for your buck in terms of flavor. The decor is so beautifully relaxing and there's lots of space. read more
I've been here on multiple occasions over the past 1.5 years at different times. It seems to be a popular spot for students since it's near CSUN. Drinks 2.5/5 I've tried the hot matcha latte, iced strawberry matcha latte, and iced matcha squared. The only one I've liked that tasted like a balanced matcha drink is the hot one. The strawberry matcha only tasted like milk & strawberries. The matcha squared was good but didn't taste like enough matcha even though it had the matcha foam. It was too milky & creamy. Pastry 5/5 Got a chocolate croissant. This was deliciousssss. I LOVED this croissant. It was so crunchy and had just the right amount of chocolate filling. Not overly sweet. Dessert 1/5 I was disappointed by the strawberry bingsoo. Not enough strawberry syrup/puree, not enough toppings (strawberries & mochi). It just tasted like a basic unflavored bingsoo. I ordered that based on the cashier's suggestion but I didn't like it :/ also, wish it came with a different flavor of ice cream. The vanilla ice cream was yummy but I think it would taste better with strawberry ice cream or something else. Service I've received good service on all occasions. Prices Prices are pretty average & compare to other places in the area & LA in general. Ambiance Plenty of space to hang out or get work done with free wifi. This place is awesome. With the year ending right around the corner, I wanted to make sure I showed love to a welcoming/friendly/clean business. Food: Plenty of food to choose from, and the panini I fell in love with was the Bulgogi kimchi, soooo good. Definitely getting it again when, and I mean when I come back. Drinks: So many drinks to choose from. I went with their banana caffeine drink. Sooooooo good, and will definitely try that again. Cleanliness: Sooooo clean, and well maintained. Parking: Plenty of parking, and there are designated spots right in front of the cafe as well. Recommended: Yes, absolutely do. read more
A fairly new place, filled with CSUN students... Their bingsoo is SO GOOD! I've had four flavors: mango (seasonal), strawberry, old school and black sesame. The regular size is good for one person and the large could be shared between two (or not!) Bingsoo (also spelled Bingsu) is a Korean shaved ice dessert featuring fruit, azuki beans, soy powder, condensed milk, mochi and ice cream. I do enjoy the fruit flavors, but I especially love their "Old School" with crunchy dates. They are generally open from 9am - 9pm so that is not early enough for me to try their coffee /matcha drinks (I gotta be at work at 7:30am). Their decor is clean and bright and I think the restrooms are so cute with the bright orange sink and textured wallpaper. Clearly, orange is the owner's favorite color! This is a great dessert option!!! read more

Only place near CSUN serving Bingsoo. It is usually packed with students on their laptops, but it's not loud inside and there is plenty of parking. The regular size Bingsoo is a perfect serving for 2 people. The shaved ice is soft, fluffy, and just perfect... the toppings are enough and they offer extra condensed milk if you need more sweetness. Haven't tried their drinks and that will be the next thing we check off when coming back. read more

This is a great space if you're in need of a late night matcha or coffee. There's lots of seating space, great for doing school work or just hanging out. The drinks were super smooth , employees were super kind. It's my second time going and would totally recommend to others. The Nutella filled fish pastries are to die for. read more
Peak was a cute open space for people who want to do work. I went in there and there were a lot of students studying around since it's near CSUN. The place has a lot of great lighting. I came in wanting a matcha but I asked the staff what their most popular drink was and he said it was the banana matcha that was not on the menu. I proceeded with that for my order and it was good but a little sweet for my liking. I would just want it a little less sweet next time if you guys don't want it too sweet you might be able to adjust the sweetness. They had syrup in the pick up station as well as to those who wants to add syrup for their drinks. It was a great spot to try. They have other drinks on their menu that I would want to go back and try. Staff was very nice, place was decent and clean. read more
