I used to use Enterprise all the time. I rented a car for nearly two weeks. I tried to research I…read moreformation on types of cars & prices at DCA. It was challenging getting someone on the phone. I had more of a challenge at Union Station. Only a manager could provide information on what cars were available and the managers had unusual schedules. So I gave up. Based on not getting clear answers, I don't think I will rent a car from Union Station. The location in Arlington had excellent employees. I was able to learn about their inventory and cost. This location has been in business for approximately 30 years. It is in a strip mall. If you rent a car, your spouse is automatically included on the rental. The employee walked me to the car and recorded any scratch longer than four inches. I took pictures of any dent that I saw. It was a bit intimidating driving a 2025 car that could practically drive itself. I thought a warning light was coming on. It was actually the car telling me to stay in the lane. The rental staff were nice about not laughing at me when I called to get information. I asked if it was possible to return the rental to Union station since it is more convenient. There is a $300 fee to visit another location. No one local sees the importance of changing this rule. The fee was established for drivers leaving a car far away and hasn't been reconsidered. I returned the car a day earlier than planned. The employee inspected the car & checked mileage and the gas level. She offered a ride to a repair shop. I told her I didn't need one. The return was quick. I would use this location again. The employees were nice and helpful.

I took and Uber back home and called to change my reservation to a place actually open on Sunday, only to get an answer that oh actually this location was open on Sunday, they just didn't open on time and "could see how the sign was confusing." Absolutely do not recommend dealing with this place if you have any other option.

The…read morefirst time I was able to fix it on my own, but a few months later it started acting up again and the same attempted repair didn't work. I took it to two other mechanics. One of them estimated $450 and could not guarantee the fix. The other charged significantly less, said it was fixed, and the next time it rained, there was a new puddle. Dana at SureFit diagnosed the problem in a couple of minutes. He explained it in layman's terms and guaranteed a fix. He was great at communicating and making himself available for answering any questions. The dropoff-pickup was absolutely fine. The job was done quickly. It has rained a couple of times since, and absolutely no water has gotten in the vehicle. The problem had a host of potential sources and Dana correctly diagnosed and fixed it. I was incredibly stressed about this, since multiple mechanics could not figure out what the problem was. I am incredibly relieved, and can once again look forward to (occasional) rainy days. Thank you, Dana!! Highly recommend for anything related to convertible covers or drain tubes, etc. A+++++++!!!!

I'm not one to go out of my way to write a bad review, but I found my experience with this auto…read moreshop to be particularly bad and want to make people aware of what they will potentially be dealing with. I was having problems with my battery, so I took my car here. They told me I needed a new battery. First of all, the price they wanted to charge me for the battery was significantly higher than anything I could find online, so I asked them to find a cheaper one. They did so, and I chalked that up to not being a car guy and the fact that after all, the shop does need to make money, which I understand. My understanding is that it's pretty standard for the diagnosis fee to be applied to repairs across many auto shops, and this shop advertises that right on their wall. It was one of the reasons I chose to give them my business. So when I saw the diagnostic fee not applied whatsoever to my final bill (400+ for them to change a battery), I asked them why. I got "oh I can do a $70 discount", as if they were doing me a favor. I told them that they advertise applying the diagnosis fee towards the total bill, to which they said "that is not true", and I told them it's right on their wall, which apparently the guy on the phone wasn't aware of. I ended up getting to talk to the "manager", who was pretty argumentative with me, and also tried to deny the existence of the advertisement. When I told him that I saw it with my own two eyes, he then tried to debate me on the definition of "advertising". He then said that the policy of applying the diagnostic fee towards the bill only applies for bills over either 1k or 10k (can't remember which it was). Whatever, I just wanted to be done with them at this point, so I took the $70 discount and moved on with my life. Or so I thought. I recently went to get in my car after letting it sit for a few days only for it to not start up (the original problem I took my car into this shop for). It was dead dead, couldn't even be jumped. I eventually called triple A, and they got it to start with their power jumper. I got a battery test done, and although the battery was fine, there is apparently an issue with the charging system. It sucks, but because of my original experience with this shop, I can't help but wonder if this was the issue from the start.. but obviously, I can't say so for sure, so take it with a grain of salt. I will say, the mechanics and desk workers themselves were quite friendly, but the manager was more interested in debating me than honoring what's on his own wall. Not a great experience overall.
