Service Requested: Purchases front seat heaters from them & had them installed. Pricing of product & installation was great. Because of weather conditions, I had to reschedule several times. They were patiend and worked with me. It took a reasonable amount of time for the install and they showed me how to use the new heaters when their work was finished. I would recommend this shop. Don't believe a word this 60s burnout says. I called and told him I have an inverter I've been using with battery clamps on my van. I asked him if he can install the inverter between the van's 2nd row seats. He said, "Come on in and I will give you an estimate.". I took the time to drive there and he looked at the inverter and said, "I can't install this, it's not new in the box.". Now, the first thing I told him on the phone was that I have been using the inverter with battery clamps. And this dishonest Bozo scumbag, for whatever j#rk)ff reason, just wasted my time. read more

I am not recommending this service if you go in for glass roof replacement. They replaced the glass roof and were referred by the insurance company, however in the process of removing the roof they didn't protect the paint and scratched the back roof panels and side panels of the car. I took this up with the insurance company who referred me and they said that Car Spa Dealer Services warranties their service, but they refused to make amends. I got an estimate of the repair from an authorized body shop and they said that Car Spa didn't use the proper method of removing the glass, instead they chiseled the glass roof off causing more damage than what the roof replacement actually cost. Go to a specialist approved by the manufacturer and not this place. read more

Just called to try to get a quote for installing a new sound system for my old car, which I plan to hand to my daughter, never have I encounter someone as rude as the person who answered. Answered the phone by just a plain Yes, and did not even return my greeting nor it made an effort to understand my request... well, I thought he maybe was having a bad day, but then the rudeness only got worse. This gentleman was condescending, rude, dismissive, and showed no interest in my business. I even expressed that there was no need for his rudeness, which he relied by hanging up. Based on this simple interaction it is obvious they have no desire for my business. Hopefully their work is better than their attitude, but highly doubt it... Good quality work (assuming they do good quality work), needs to be paired with good customer service, which in this case, it is obvious the second is non existent. makes me questions the first one as quality of work is customer centric... In general, recommend you call them and hopefully this review helps the owner realize that the rudeness of his or her employees or team members, will only result on lost business. read more

This place is a total rip off! They charged me more than 600/- to fit a backup camera to my Camry 2009 model . They charged around 400+ for the kit and around 170 for the labor ( @85/hr for 2 hrs). Later, I found out that the same backup camera kit is sold online for 199.95 (http://electronman.stores.yahoo.net/nabacawifain.html) from the manufacturer authorized dealer. I even called ROSTRA ( the backup camera company) to confirm this. This kit comes with a DIY installation guide (http://www.rostra.com/manuals/250-8076_Form5103A.pdf) My friend who owns 2008 Camry ordered the kit and paid $70 to a body-shop mechanic to install the camera. He spent only $ 285/- for the same camera for which these guys charged me more than 600/- I will never go to these guys ever. BW read more

I had purchased a replacement tuner from VAIS for my not working factory-installed Lexus satellite radio. I got the tuner installed at Best Buy and had a problem they couldn't fix - there was a conflict between the factory-installed and replacement that made the new radio unuseable. I called VAIS in desperation and they referred me to this shop. Dave, the manager, was able to confirm the problem and they fixed it quickly (about an hour's labor). So kudos for being really smart about satellite radio, Lexus and VAIS, Car Spa. read more

I had called Car Spa in Arlington to schedule an installation of a remote control. I was quoted $550 and told to come in on a particular day when the starter had not yet arrived. The common sense is to wait to make sure the part was at the shop before scheduling the appt. Then, I was rescheduled for another day but was called by the chief mechanic whose two employee/mechanics had had car accidents so they couldn't come in so I was asked to wait another week. I did that. Then, on arriving for my appt, the owner bawled me out for pulling my car into the garage even though it should have been my turn. It was my appt. To make things worse, the owner told me I was rude to follow him into the office, when I thought he was leading me to the waiting room. Did not take long for me to decide to get out of that place. The owner is a nightmare to deal with. These people need help with customer service and more proficient management. I can't imagine having to go back to the owner in the event of a problem with installation. As I read the other reviews, other people had a bad experience with Car Spa's customer service. read more

Friendly, fast, and professional service. My husband stopped by with a quick question about the DVD player in his truck, which suddenly stopped working. They got to work immediately and fixed it so that it works even better than before. Now our family is all set for our road trip and the kids will enjoy the DVD player. Sadly the installer didtnt check his work. the GPS antennae was not plugged in so the map obviously didnt work. There was another issue that pops on the screen everytime i started the car. When i called to get appointment to fix, he was actually arguing that it wasnt a problem (but anyone with google or youtube can find the problem and solution. I decided to have someone else fix it. I suppose none of this would be a big deal except it was a $1400 radio and because of the poor customer experience when i called to get the issues fixed read more

I took in my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in to find the source of what has been draining my battery - 4 separate visits to Ourisman Jeep in Alexandria (11 days total in the shop) and they couldn't find it. Car Spa found it in 30 minutes on the very first visit - staff was friendly and helpful. I will give them my business in the future again. read more
