Access Management group is responsible for managing my condo association. Due to their lack of attention to our community, our master condo insurance has been below Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac standards for 16 months. We notified them weeks ago of this issue and they simple do not respond. Due to this, our community is not only at risk since we are underinsured, but we also cannot sell our homes because our community is considered "unwarrantable" for lenders providing loans to potential buyers. Our property values are going down since we are limited to cash only buyers. Homeowner after homeowner has reached out without a response. Absolutely horrible predators and scammers. I'm a widowed grandmother of a special needs grandchild who they extorted for $6000 for HOA "fees" that I was never made aware of. FIVE years later they sued me and garnished my wages for $1,800 a month. After all of that they still claimed a "balance due" and refused to provide anything in writing stating that if I paid the "balance" that I would be paid in full. One of their collection agents, Enger, actually laughed at me when I asked for this. I guess now that they've bullied a widowed grandmother out of thousand of dollars unnecessarily they will now move on to scamming elderly or handicapped or terminally ill neighbors. I am very disappointed that this company is servicing our neighborhood. They are supposed to serve notices to houses with violations like mold on houses, leaving trash containers out front, parking in the street, etc. Except, all they are responsive about is sending notices to people who have temporary political signs in their yards. I am George belonging to the Avian Forest Community, Stockbridge, 30281. I and my wife are having difficulties in reaching out to customer care (assigned for us Mrs. Robin or Ms. Julia). We have been requesting automatic payment mode without any success. The procedure suggested in the Mgmt Group website is very tedious and we have been unable to pay for the last three months. Even when it is not our mistake, the usual penalties and late fees are laid on us as homeowners. I definitely, value their customer service not with high regard. I submitted a request for approval to have my garage door replaced as the middle section started to cave in. I've already done my research and found a company that can install the new garage door that matches what we have in the association, but they need approval from the HOA to do the install and I need the approval to have it painted according to the HOA standards. It has almost been a month and I can't get Chris Blake to call me back or respond to my last 10 emails. Maybe we need Lee Jackson. Lee seems to be getting a lot of praise in these reviews. read more

We recently closed on a home in a community that was managed by access management. In the short time we've been there, a lot of incompetency was exposed....and I assume this level of incompetence was allowed for quite some time and the other residents have gotten tired of it because we just received word that effective January 1st 2018 a new property management company will be handling our community. So let's get into: 1. When we closed on our home, it took multiple attempts on my part to reach out to the company, figure out who the liaison was for our community, request portal access, get bylaws and hoa info, and get an access card for our amenities. If I had not made multiple phone calls, none of this would've occurred. 2. It took us more than a month to get our access card and three attempts. This is because the property manager only worked Tuesdays and Thursday's from 9am-2pm. Since our communities clubhouse is behind the gates the access card is needed to enter, we were instructed to make an appointment and "honk our car horn", upon arrival. 3. Our access cards were never activated. After paying for and receiving our access card, we had to again follow up to have it activated. 4. Because of the limited information given to us as new homeowners in the community, in order to get information and straightforward answers regarding community information, I had to figure out who our HOA leaders were and FBI stalk them on social media to get basic information. I have lived numerous places, and in numerous cities. It's appalling this level of unprofessionalism was allowed in a beautiful, 3 sided brick community where professionals, senators, and politicians reside. If you have ANY say in how your property management company for your community is picked I'd highly recommend you look into other options. read more

We've had numerous management companies and even more property managers over the years at City Heights Condominium in Atlanta, GA and none can remotely compare with both the company, Access Management and more specifically, the property manager, Ashanti Shine. While I can name many improvements that she has made in her relatively short time here, such as her exceptional communication about all matters affecting the residents, her insistence on improving the aged and rather ragged look of our lobby (which now resembles the entrance of a 4-star hotel) and her general availability and drive to resolve our individual issues, I recently had the pleasure of working with her on a specific matter in which I could not be more pleased and about which I could not have felt more important/valued. While the details might seem a bit bland, in that they essentially pertain to the removal of furniture from my unit, the fact that she went out of her way to find a creative solution that both abided by the condominium bylaws and also took into account some particular personal matters that made my situation more difficult than most was truly notable. Ashanti is clearly a sharp, innovative, dedicated, enthusiastic and determined individual and she brings those qualities and more with her as our property manager each day. As I set up a new consulting business, operating temporarily from my residence, Ms. Cuylear and Mr. Hill helped me tremendously by being supportive, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and smooth interactions. They ensured the multi-stage process was executed smoothly, efficiently, and most important, successfully. Mr. Hill initially fostered me through the process ensuring all covenants, etc. were in order and interaction with the City of Alpharetta was completed properly. We liked working with them when we had our previous property manager. This new property manager doesn't even live close to our property and has only been her twice in six months. We tried to talk to the higher ups and they have just ignored us. Keep in mind we actually pay these people to do a job. Would be nice if they did it. Terrible. They came took $400,000 from us and then quit without completing a single repair or making a single improvement or giving proper notice. These (10) Leyland cypresses wound up on my property and they don't no how they got there but they say there mine, but we don't buy garbage so I no there not mine. They are a nuisance and a liability they were illegally planted and improperly planted with no permit local ARBORIST deemed the trees come down and my fence be replaced they won't do it. I'm a condo owner and resident at a property they've recently started managing. Unfortunately, the manager they assigned to the property is not as professional as his/her last predecessor from a different company. (S)he and the Access Management Group staff who are based at the company's headquarters do not timely respond to resident/owner emails, come across as rude, and don't send out advanced emails/notices for such things as apartment inspections, but instead wait until last minute to give all the owner/residents heads up. A few months ago, they entered all the units to clear drains, but gave less than 24 hours notice--instead of several weeks notice--not just that they'd be entering units, but asking residents to move things around in preparation. Highly unprofessional, disrespectful, and discourteous. I'm giving two stars instead of one because they've gotten some needed work done, but they'd be SIGNIFICANTLY better if they were FAR MORE responsive to, and courteous in their communications with, residents, and somewhat less confrontational. read more

My experience with Access Management, particularly Kent Atzinger, has been nothing but seamless. They have managed our HOA for years, and we have been very pleased with the service levels received. Kent is not only extremely responsive to community requests, but he also makes valuable suggestions as to how we can better manage our community. His experience is invaluable, and we appreciate his suggestions and quick response time. I also feel that he and the team have knowledgeable contacts who provide great prices to our community. He has recommended several vendors, and we have always found them to be price competitive and also to provide quality work. While it might not be flashy, Access Management's online system is easy to use and provides an easy-to-use interface to pay outstanding bills as well as access to financial reporting for Board members. This goes to show that the company makes an effort to be transparent with all aspects of property management. The Board always has instant access to see their P&L and balance sheet, as well as information about outstanding balances and recent payments. This transparency enables me to feel comfortable that AMG is a trusted partner. Access Management is in a tough spot -- they often play the "bad cop" in interactions between the Board and homeowners. They deliver tough news that accounts are delinquent, they collect the bills, etc... I can't say I envy their position! But we have been so pleased with the way that the company handles resident interactions -- it's always with respect and care, but they also know how to stand their ground with difficult homeowners. As a Board member in my community, I know that our property is in good hands! read more

Robert D Powser is the most rude and obnoxious customer service representative ever. This person does not even know the facts and gets upset when corrected. He yelled at me and thinks would not listen to a word I had to say. Access Management group took began managing the HOA for one of my properties April 2013. I have owned this property for nine years and always pay my fees on time. All of a sudden they send a letter saying I owe for paying late since 2011. Also he claimed that the prior management company added late fees if not paid by the 10th and I correct date is the 15th. I have the payment coupon to prove it but again Robert was so busy yelling he could not hear. Run from this company as long as Robert D. Powser is there. Oh and it took a week of calling for me to even speak to a live human being. read more

I live in a townhouse community managed by Access Mgmt in Northeast Atlanta. They're great...return phone messages and e-mails promptly and follow-up on recommendations quickly. Enforcement of association bylaws and rules is handled sensitively but firmly....and in the interest of all owners, after BOD consultation. Having served on my communities HOA board for nearly 20 years, I have worked with no less than 6 Property Management companies. Most were good, one was unbelievable and another simply not very memorable. Our association moved to Access Management about 2 + years ago and we are pleased. At first, there was a bit of a learning curve as we are a very small community. However after trying 2 of their team members we ended up with Lee Jackson and couldn't be more pleased. His professionalism and attention to detail is ideal, and I would say he is one of the most pro-active managers we ever had. I would highly recommend Lee Jackson and Access Management Group.
