That was a total lie to get the sale, I'm learning now. The movers came today and half of the boxes are still in my apartment because they didn't fit! So now we are totally screwed because we aren't out of our apartment on time, but also, when I called to tell Zippy Shell what happened, they offer no condolences or help. They want to charge me double. So my quote from moving went from $4,000 to $8,000 essentially. They totally swindled me and it's a very dishonest company. Stay away from them!!

After getting all sorts of different prices for the job, I gave Zippy Shell a call. THANKFULLY I DID!! I got a much lower rate than the rest. Most of them wouldn't even bother because of where I live in the city. And there was no real guarantee that my stuff would arrive when I needed it to. But, with Zippy Shell, I had no worries. I was able to deliver my things to one of their facilities in NJ, pack the container myself & lock it up. The staff on the phone, the guy at the shipping facility all were very professional, very patient & very nice people who put me at ease with my concerns. I hired their service last month to help with my move to a new home. Even though I called them 15…read moredays in advance, they initially said it would be impossible to schedule me on the requested date due to month-end rush--but somehow, they made it work. They arrived between 2-5 PM (closer to 4 PM) and gave me a call before reaching, just to confirm that I was ready. During the quoting process, we listed out all the items--furniture, chairs, bed, mirror, boxes, etc. When they arrived, they first verified the number of items matched the quote. They were okay with a few extra small boxes (2-4), but if something significantly bigger wasn't on the list, they either wouldn't take it or would charge extra. They charged me for 4 hours of work, and 3 movers showed up and completed everything within that time. They even moved 3-5 extra items without any hassle. They handled fragile items like the mirror and glass table with care, though they did charge $80 for packing materials. There was some damage to a dresser cabinet, but they compensated me for it. Overall, I'm satisfied with their service and would consider using them again.

I recently used this moving company to move my belongings to a nearby storage unit. on the day of…read morethe move, they were 1 hour late and did not call to advise that they would be late so I called and was informed that the owner was busy and could not take my call. I called back about 25 minutes later the owner took my call and said that things happen and that his worker's wife had become ill. He did not provide a solution. After becoming increasingly irate he offered that it was not my fault and that he would come in his worker's place as if he was doing me a favor. On the return trip, I called to confirm and was advised that I should continue to call to confirm and make sure that they would be there on the day that I had booked then and was told that "things happen". I asked him what that meant and he said that nothing is assured I offered that is why you make an appointment to assure service. So my appointment was for 10:00 am I called he confirmed the men did not show up at the storage facility until 11:30 am. Upon return to my home while they were moving in a large chair they scratched the paint on my door and I was advised that Sammy the owner would reach out to me to talk about the damage. The next day, no call, I call Pals. Sammy began by calling me a liar and verbally abusing me stating that his men fixed the door all the while talking over me and not letting me explain as he was confused about what I was speaking about. my experience with Pal's Moving Service overall was very poor here's why; They did not show up on time the owner made excuses and could not provide reliable service and the men damaged my door I was told to buy the paint and that he would send men over to paint the door at that rate I'll just paint the door. Ridiculous. The move went well they did provide a good moving service. The problem that I had was that they were unreliable and that the owner was combative in the end and was verbally abusive. And I'm not talking small boxes and bags of junk only. These guys hauled out large appliances, bulky furniture, multiple sets of those old TV sets, old metal file cabinets, I can go on and on! They took everything and no complaining, plus they were able to show up at odd hours to work around my schedule and their prices were beyond reasonable.
