I purchased a fairing on the 22nd of July 2020 it is now September 8th 2020 and I still have not even gotten a tracking number from these people. They initially told me that it would take about 4 weeks. I called them on week 4 and they told that it would take another 1 1/2 weeks to receive it. Now we are on week 7 and here we are. The best retail store for motorcycle parts and accessories. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and can help with any technical questions you might have. I've dealt with several companies for questions in the technical department but none have come close to the savvy and experience I found here. In terms of my order, it was a smooth process and delivered quickly. The Arrow exhaust came out of their warehouse the same day that I ordered it and I was given my tracking number as soon as it was shipped. Purchased the Reckless XEF Batwing storage fairing with vented front, 5'' Smoked Windscreen and Ciro 50316 Smartphone holder for my 2020 Heritage Classic 114. Placed the international order (Australia) on 22 October and received the product five weeks later. I had watched a number of videos on Youtube on how to install the fairing. The fairing is basically two halves that fit together and are held in place by a total of seven screws. The brackets are separate and have to be fixed onto the fairing. To do this i had to undo the 7 screws and pull the fairing apart because the 4 bolts that hold the brackets in place contain 4 nuts that sit inside the fairing. I had difficulty in aligning the 7 holes to put the fairing back together. The key was to firstly put the screw in the hole on the top of the fairing and work from there. The Youtube videos recommend that it's best to use two people to install the fairing on the bike but i was able to do that myself. The bolts that come with the fairing contain two washers - one for each side. As was pointed out in the videos, 2 washers (5/16") is not enough. I required a total of 6 washers, (3 each side) to make sure the bolts were firmly in place. The installation of the smoked windscreen required patience. I left the screw in the top centre of the fairing and took out the 2 screws either side. Once the windscreen was in place I fitted the two screws. I am not at all happy with the Smartphone holder. Although it holds my iPhone at a good height it suffers from a lot of vibration when I'm riding. For what it does, it's overpriced at $69. I will go back to my Quad Lock. Be aware that the fairing is wide and you will have less room on either side of you to pass cars. Secondly, because your view is somewhat constricted it's a little harder to judge the stopping distance of cars in front of you. You will work this out very quickly and it should not stop you from purchasing the fairing. Wally at Accessories International was fantastic to deal with and he recommended the storage fairing as I did not require a sound system. I'm giving the fairing a 4 star rating only because I had some difficulty in putting the whole thing together but that is probably due to my limited mechanical experience. I have no hesitation in recommending the XEF Reckless Batwing Storage Fairing, and yes, it looks great ! read more

I ordered tires that were backordered across the internet, and was told by other outlets that it would take up to 6 weeks to restock. They were ordered from A.I. on a Wed, tracking provided by EOD Friday, and received the following Tuesday. The other items ordered were shipped out the following Wednesday, and will ultimately be an 8 day turnaround... during a pandemic. Now, I became increasingly concerned, and I'm sure, increasingly annoying to Alex and Al, when I visited this site and read the "horror stories" of folks who had to, cover your ears, "wait" for their orders to be pulled from a warehouse, and shipped. I called, every other day, acting like I was protecting myself and falling a victim to some kind of "scam...." there's no scam, and I appreciate their patience. I don't expect a shop, that also works as an online reseller, to have the same turnaround time, or massive stock that other online retailers have. Quite frankly, while the emailing communication could have been "better," all things were resolved after a phone call. The part that wasn't in stock, was refunded within an hour of the request to cancel. I'd feel confident saying that most of the negative reviewers, here, searched far and wide before they placed the order with A.I. I bet their "usual" outlets, which offer shipping deals, and customer codes and points balances etc. didn't have the part they needed, or they simply couldn't get at the price they wanted, and found it on A.I. site. They weren't prepared for a re-seller turnaround. I can only attribute some of the 1 star reviews to folks who primarily shop Amazon Prime, or other "larger" retail outlets, and have developed a sense of instant gratification entitlement. Those folks will only take to the internet to complain, and rarely applaud/ reward when transactions are "normal," and "fine," by all standard standards. In my case, they're still the ONLY place that could come through on my tires. The website could use an aesthetic update, with stock counts, sure. The emails could be answered faster, sure. The turnaround time could be made more clear, without question, but I don't feel that there was anything warranting calling an outlet a "scam," or claiming illegal activity (also, it's not illegal to charge before shipping) I wish that my purchase would have qualified for free shipping, like a lot of other outlets offer. It was a couple hundred dollars and that is something that I consider on all purchases of this kind. However, I saw that cost, and I still pressed, "pay now." read more

To anyone dealing with or buying from Accessories International: Their product lines are similar to others online, and they seemed to offer competitive deals. However, AFTER purchasing a motorcycle helmet from them, they used a bait-and-switch with me to try and get me to buy a more expensive helmet, even though the helmet that they had ALREADY PROCESSED THE ORDER FOR they claim was discontinued. I tried to explain to them that this process was illegal, but they wouldn't listen and promptly hung up on me when I asked them to send me the 'upgraded' helmet for the price I bought the original ($136 compared to $180). The money issue isn't huge, but the integrity issue is. I currently have a BBB complaint filed against them for this. Take heed before purchasing from this company. read more

Ordered a motorcycle windshield from Accessories International on 5/14/17 and hadn't heard anything from them for 3 days except the initial order confirmation on the day I ordered. Send them an email asking if there was a shipment estimate. No response. On 5/22 I called them and they told me the order had shipped and they would send confirmation. On 5/23 I received UPS shipping confirmation indicating that the item shipping label had been created at the end of that business day and scanned into the UPS system that evening. It's estimated delivery is 5/31/17, 2.5 weeks after the order was placed. That's not too big a deal but not answering email and then saying something had already shipped when it hadn't is a customer service issue. read more

I ordered several items totaling over $99 and was supposed to get free shipping. They shipped one item, claiming the other ones were on back order and charged me shipping without telling me. I contacted them a few weeks later and they said there was no ETA on the back ordered items and refused to refund the shipping charge on the one item I received. Now the back ordered items are back on their website showing a higher price. Very sketchy business practice, and I recommend not ordering from them. There was a mix up but they contacted me immediately and told me they called everywhere, even competitors to see if they had the item I ordered. They offered to refund me or I could wait until Nov 15th then they would be able to ship. I received the indicators today Nov 9, 2020 and already installed them on my moto. Lots of places would have left me hanging, not knowing when my purchase would ship but these guys went out of their way, put me first on the list and I received my purchase a full 6 days early. The quality of the products is good and is packaged well, however, the customer service is horrible-all talk, no action. They sound nice on the phone but don't actually follow through. 1. tracking numbers are useless. They send an email with a tracking number that makes it look like all your items are coming on that number, however, the items are all shipped at different times in different packages making the tracking number useless. 2. A few of the items they sent were for the wrong motorcycle-they said they would replace them with the correct items and issue a refund for one of the parts that actually doesn't even exist, though it was listed on their website. 3. They never told me one of the items was on backorder (website showed it in stock). I called customer service to inquire as to why my item had not shipped. They told me they finally got a shipment of the item on backorder and would send it in a few days. It has been almost 20 days and they still have not shipped it. 4. I ordered a rack for my motorcycle on 12/6 expecting it by Christmas. I did not receive a confirmation for my order via email or phone, my CC was charged on 12/7. My order did not arrive as expected, so I called them on 1/2 and Tony stated that they did not want to ship to the work address I had requested? When I asked why they did not contact me regarding this, he did not have an answer? So he then said he would ship my part that day and send me a tracking number for the order promptly. I had to call back when I did not hear from them the following day. Tony could not confirm if my order shipped and did not have a tracking number. I called them again on 1/4 requesting a tracking number and a confirmation that my order had shipped and he still could not tell me if my order had shipped? Ordering & Payment process were simple. Clicked button to place my order on Sept 17th. Order and payment processed through Amazon Payments the next day Sept 18th so as anyone would, I assumed that it was being shipped that day. Never received a shipping confirmation or any tracking information after that. So on Sept 23rd I called. First I was told that the item was on backorder. I requested a refund. Then she said no, that mine was the last one shipped out and that the shipping department would send me the tracking information. About a half hour later I received tracking information that said it would be shipped out on Sept 24th (the next day). After repeatedly trying the tracking # and having it come up "not found", I called them back on Sept 24th only to find that the package hadn't shipped at all and that it was being shipped today. I am finally seeing tracking information. Just as a courtesy to your customers, I think you should not charge for an item until it is actually shipped. I think you should ship & also provide a tracking number right away to your customers. It's great that you provide free shipping but honestly if I had known it was going to take you a week to ship it, I would have gone elsewhere. read more
