It is understandable to have this reaction when not being able to use a dress you bought for a special function. However, you have to realize the no return policy of most, if not all, places is normal. It is also a standard business practice of most consignment stores. I have been a loyal customer of Cottage Closet in Soddy Daisy for at least 10 years. The owner has a wonderful selection of "boutique" clothing and jewelry. She also has consignment clothing, shoes, and purses. She has helped me out several times by keeping an eye out for a special piece of clothing or accessory that I needed. CC's owner has always been very pleasant and honest in her dealings with me. I have never heard her speak rudely to any customer. CC's consignment collection includes formal dresses for homecoming, prom, and middle school dances. When girls come in for dresses, she helps them personally and is very fair in her business dealings. My daughter has experienced this many times. As a small business and consignment store, CC prides itself and their employees on helping these girls find their dream dresses. Her policy of not returning formals is a norm in this business niche. I will be continuing to give her my business long into the future.

I will never spend another dime at this store. I purchased a dress and my daughter got extremely sick and was even put on homebound by the school and dr and she could not attend prom. I thought explaining this situation the lady would have a heart and atleast let me return for some of the money back or even a in store credit! Absolutely not! She was not understanding at all. I really hope she never has to endure a child being sick and being a single mom on a very strict budget. I didn't want my money back for me though I wanted it back for my daughter to be able to get her nails done or something to replace the heartache of missing prom. I came to uniktings wanting a vision of mine brought to life, and they not only did a great job, but exceeded all of my expectations :) My wedding is coming up and i had an old collared shirt of my dad who passed away, and i wanted the ladies to make a pillow out of it so i could have my little brother the ring bearer use it to carry the ring and also as a keepsake post wedding. Yall, i was almost in tears when i received the text of just the blue print! The final product was everything i wanted and more. The ladies here also were able to embroidered my dad's writing onto the pillow as well! I seriously can't say enough good things about this place and the women that work here!!!!! Left a review, but quickly got a call that made things right. Correct dress came in, and Caitlyn threw in my gloves/sleeves for free. 10/10 customer service. I had my first bridal appointment with EverAfterBridal in late January earlier this year. Gentry was my stylist and she was very insightful, considerate, and overall amazing. She helped me find my perfect dress that same day. Memorie was also very helpful and knowledgeable; she got my measurements and also was attentive while I was trying on the dresses. We put in my order and my dress came in sometime in July. I picked my dress up after the Chattanooga store's renovation process and during the Cleveland store's relocation process, so it was ready for a couple weeks before I could comfortably get around to it. When I went to pick it up, I noticed there were no gloves/sleeves with it, so Caitlyn (from the Cleveland location) kindly offered to put in an order for me, but I declined. I was able to try on the dress the next day, but when I unzipped the bag I noticed it was the wrong dress- very similar, but not mine. I knew an honest mistake was made, but because of the "no return, no exchange, no refund" policy, I figured it was pointless to call and try anything, so I left a review saying what had happened. Within 30minutes, Caitlyn reached out to me in a phone call. She apologized for my experience and asked me to send over a picture of the dress I'd actually said yes to, and she said she'd see what she could do and would get back with me. Shortly after, she called me again to tell me the warehouse actually had a few sizes on the floor of my exact dress! She said that if I could bring back in the wrong dress, they'd remeasure me, order my correct dress and have it shipped and there in a couple of weeks (since they're made to order but the warehouse had a few already made). She even offered to throw in my gloves for free because of my experience; I almost started crying happy tears because I had already mentally cut my losses (my wedding was less than 2mos away by that time). I came in the next day for my remeasuring and to return the dress; the ladies that helped me that day were Sydney and Vivian, who were both very sweet and helpful. Almost 3weeks later, they called and said my dress had come in, so I went and Caitlyn helped me try it on, and I left happy with my dress! Here a few weeks later, my gloves/sleeves were in and I picked them up today. Overall, through a chaotic yet wonderful experience, I give the customer service a 10/10. A company is nothing without amazing employees like all of these aforementioned ladies highly recommend EverAfterBridal, either location

In addition to vintage toys, and clothes, Throwbacks Too offer vintage furniture, and clothing! Man, older clothes were made to last! We took our time looking through every row of shelves and every area. I really wasn't expecting to buy anything but I found a perfect gift for my friend who has everything!!! As I was checking out Rick told us he enjoyed watching us light up as we discovered items in the store lol!
