I chose this company because Robin followed up with me when I didn't complete the scheduling process after seeing that they didn't have availability that would work for our schedule. Not only did Robin manage to find someone who could do it, but she answered so many questions that I had and really made me feel like we would be in good hands if we went with this company. Robin was the reason we ended up going with them instead of another company, and I am SO GLAD we ended up with Pro Spex because Robert Martin, our inspector, was amazing! He took the time to explain things to us, went out of his way to show us where things were and how things impacted each other. I felt like he was inspecting his own home! His process was methodical, organized, and detail-oriented. He knew SO MUCH; I was so grateful that he shared his knowledge with us through the whole process. I don't have anything to compare to, but I know that I left that inspection feeling informed, confident, and more knowledgeable about our (prospective) home's maintenance and quirks. After vetting many companies, I came across Rudd's. Danny was the only inspector I could find who seemed to know the true detriment mold and mycotoxins can have on some people. No one else in my house was effected by the mold, but I could tell there was something there and Danny believed me. After doing an air sample with no evidence of mold spores, he went a step further and did a cavity sample in the wall. The results for mold were off the charts. Not only did he find the mold, he found the cause of water penetration. Danny, being experienced with many companies in his line of work, gave me the names/numbers of some top-notch remediation companies who proved to be great additions to my arsenal to combat my mold problem. During my experience Danny was there for me every step of the way. Always willing to help and was very reliable and responsive - normally with next day service. Called upon return because the requested pruning of all bushes was so badly done (but not finished), and two guys came and said they had to dig them up. At my cost, by the way. Okay. Several more eventually had to be removed. The bill reflects a completed job and new charges for removal and fuel (??!!) not on the quote. I've been trying to pay for what they did do. But I've received higher and higher invoices and threats to go to court though I repeatedly ask to pay them what's due. My opinion....stay away!
