I was able to talk directly with the machine shop staff - no middle man to misconstrue my needs. AJ was my main contact, the young lady behind the counter was also very proficient, they both are an asset to this company. I took a part to their machine shop to be reconditioned for an engine I was assembling. They…read morerequired a deposit of $125.00 which seemed very strange since I have done business in the past with them. The part to be reconditioned can be purchased from a variety of suppliers for $150.00/$200.00. Several weeks later I was called by Troy in the machine shop and told the remaining balance due was $399.00. I was completely astounded by this clear attempt at price gouging. I went to front parts counter and noticed a sign which read " if you are not satisfied with our service please tell us." I ask "who should I talk to?" and was told "Randy". I waited to speak to Randy and was told, after waiting, Randy was busy and would call me. I left my phone number (which they already had on my origin invoice). Randy's call never came and the part is still in the machine shop. I have since purchased the part from another source and saved 250% of what Fort Myers Automotive & Industrial Supply (FMA) appeared to be trying to extort from me. I would strongly recommend steering clear of FMA.

After a month, they call and said wheel bearings and seal also needed replaced. I didn't ask the price and said do it. Picked up the motorhome and Phil said there was still a noise in the rear end due to the ring and pinion being rusted. I asked him why they didn't replace those also and he said he thought we were on a budget. Never did he mention to me anything about the ring and pinion being rusted and never did I say anything about a budget. Spent $2400 and still have a noise in the rear end. Also after looking over the bill and checking prices on the parts with what I could buy the for , I found they way over charged me on the parts. Very Unhappy ...... Told Phil to have the shop manager call me back and still waiting. Stay away from these guys.

It took over a year for them to complete the project. When I would call to get updates on my engine I was dismissed and spoken down to by the employee's at this shop. I felt as if I would never get my money or the completed engine. I thought about taking them to court but knew I could not afford the legal fees. When I finally got it back the horsepower was 300 instead of 500 they didn't even inform me that they hadn't given me what I requested initially. I wanted to support a small business but I will never go here again, I felt as if they took advantage of me because they knew I didn't have the means or the financial backing to fight them.

December 24th I paid for a catalytic converter on my 2021 Chevy Silverado which they specifically…read moretold me my truck wouldn't take after market parts, yet they installed an after market converter without my knowledge then claimed it was all GM parts. Months (December 19th - April 13th) go on where I continued to bring them the truck with no loaner or other vehicle to use and they'd keep it for a week then tell me to come pick it up just for the check engine light to turn back on as soon as I got home then bring it back for another week and continue this process for months. When I asked to go else where they didn't want to unless I was paying out of pocket. Which not having your personal vehicle for months will cost you money, time and in my case my job. They finally gave me a refund April 13th but I'm still waiting to see if it goes through or not. The only reason why I know it was an after market part is because I took my truck to Victory Layne and they told me. They will tell you one thing and do another that suits them best, without letting you in on what's happening, then tell you it's fine to keep driving while your truck has the same check engine light you paid to go away.
