I'm not sure if the manager has all the employees so scared to the point where every single employee acts completely rude and defensive and will reiterate "I can't do this because I don't want to lose my job" or "I don't care if other ace locations do stuff a certain way I'm not going to lose my job" when you offer a phone number to verify a check. I came in to cash a check, they tell me they need to verify it after previous telling me after I'm verified once I don't need to do the process anymore. I try to be patient with the process then they tell me their managers says their closing so they can't cash it and to leave a copy of my check and my information and they will call me the following day to come back in. I call back at 11 next day because no one has called me and they tell me they have yet to verify my check due to lack of response, I offer help with verifying they have the correct phone number and offer to call them for them as I got them on the phone within 4 minutes. They proceed to tell me in a rude and disrespectful manner that they won't lose their job over that and I may mention they stated this several times to the point they make you feel like a criminal. Very horrible service, literally go anywhere else. I don't even feel comfortable they have my information now. read more

It says that they are check cashing place.But if your check says cash on it they won't cash it out for you. What kind of check cashing places this? It's bullshit. I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the ladies who works here. After not being able to answer my questions, she began to get VERY Frustrated called ME stupid and then literally went to hide behind her desk. I recorded this woman HIDING behind her desk after realizing she made the mistake of calling me out of my name and walking away. she stayed crouched behind a desk until the office closed (so she was still on the clock) I have filed a report to the district manager and am currently awaiting response. People should NOT have jobs they are not emotionally stable enough to handle. read more

They were so terrible, came in with a cashiers check from wells fargo, told me to come back tomorrow morning and they can cash it!! No kidding, i can also go to the bank myself and cash it for free. Check was not even 300$ and they can't verify a certified cashiers check from a major bank, dont you folks have access to some online verification? Went here for the first time and got charged nearly $20 to cash a check. And when i expressed my thought about the amount I was being charged the cashier Elizabeth responding disrespectfully with "well you can go some where else". Terrible customer service didn't explain anything at all and jus had me standing there while she was on the phone. I had to ask her what I was waiting for and she responded to me as if I was irritating her for even asking. Will never ever ever go back or refer anyone to this place. Hope they change management or get shut down all together. People with that bad of an attitude at work don't deserve a job. Only gave it one star so I can post this. read more
